I sometimes wonder if this is coming to America...will it come down to defending our faith,..families? Will we have to hide in the catacombs in order to practice our faith when the government decides religion is to be outlawed? Will we be willing to fight as the Cristeros did?
What a great film! As far as I know some of them (who were later canonised) choose to fight some did not. But they did not point the finger at each other whatever they choose. Did you ever hear of Franz Jaegerstaetter.?
Wow,..a real eye opener, thanks for sharing that, there were many things I didn't know. I think it might have been John Paul ll that said the blood of the martyrs was needed for the renewal of the Church, and this time it will be no different. I was hesitant to post the above video because no one likes to think about something like that happening,..but I think it is better to be prepared to face martyrdom if that is what one will be called to do. When we truly trust God nothing can take away that peace, and we will be given that grace at the time it is needed.
