The world seems to heading towards one direction. Every person in entertainment, politics and the church seem to be pushing the globalist agenda. I never thought I would see it in my lifetime. Even the Catholic Church has joined the globalist. I guess I should have known nothing can stop prophecy. It is not if, but when. Should we fear, should we be upset? No We must always believe God is with us and the final chapter has already taken place. .
Good to see you around FS. I have heard that we should rejoice (as hard as it is to wrap my head around that) because our redemption is drawing near.
I have always been the person...it could happen today or 1000 years from now. The demons are manifesting...they are not afraid anymore. It has become ok to be evil. Amazon synod might be what separates wheat from chaff. And in all of this my faith becomes stronger...but the world continues to head to a very dark place. Strange, Strange, Strange
Yes, the good news is we have the blueprint of it all before us. We have full access to the bible, to Church teachings and private revelations from Gods prophets of yesterday and today. Key is, we cannot look back as the Israelites did when journeying to the promised land. We must keep our hearts and eyes on the Era of Peace or we will suffer their same fate. Only 2, Joshua and Caleb, out of over 600,000 Isralites in journey got to enter the promised land. It will be the same this time. Few will enter the era of peace relative to nearly 8 billion inhabitants in todays world.
Did you ever notice how attractive the New World; New Church is? It is to die for. No Cross. No suffering. Everything perfect. No mysteries / mystical everything explained. Perfect knowledge. No sin, no guilt. Everything relative. No differences in Religions or politics ..all together in lockstep. No more wars, or poverty, or Nation states. Only Lucifer could come up with such an idea! Wonderful!! We shall become as Gods!! Genesis 3 English Standard Version The Fall 3 Now the serpent was more crafty than any other beast of the field that the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘Youa]">[a] shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” 2 And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, 3 but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’” 4 But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” 6 So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise,b]">[b] she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves loincloths.
What I remember of that whole thing was wondering why so many people worshiped that guy. It was bazaar. Like the world stopped turning or something.
its A interesting time...thanks to Padraig, this site is only place to get it off my chest. While the world pushes God away, we start getting stronger. That is going to open up some great blessings. All the Spiritual doctors told us about manifestations of demons as they got closer to God. Even Saint Theresa of Avila with the Castle and seven mansions. What if those creatures/demons were real and not figurative. All Spiritual Fathers were in actual spiritual battles. Won’t many of us start going through these experiences. I think if the pendulum is moving too much in one direction, God’s people are going to start dreaming, prophesying and evangelizing. Great saints are being prepared...might it be all of us.
Yes. So true. As evil manifests God's grace for those who seek it is paradoxically more available--abundant even.
You nailed it! Everything old is new again. Same old tired temptation dressed up in another set of dazzling finery. (Feathered serpent?) Our Lady of Guadalupe pray for us!!
I know. My first thought was the horror of dying an "unprovided death". I have pity on him in spite of the harm he did. I hope he made it.
A couple of months ago I happened upon a website that you can download as an app called Auxilium Christianorum. Sorry I am not computer savvy enough to post it here but the principle aims of this association are: 1. To provide prayers for those priests associated with the Auxilium Christianorum, so that their apostolate in driving out demons is efficacious. 2. To provide prayers for the protection of the priests, members of the association and their families and friends so that they are not adversely affected by the demonic. This association has Ecclesiastical Approval. Coincidentally, this morning on Michael Browns Spirit Daily headline, an article by Fr. Richard Heilman had, at the bottom of the page, an article about being a member of the Auxilium Christianorum. I have been faithfully saying the prayers daily. Sometimes after I finish I feel a little battle weary. But I do feel it is part of the remedy for times such as these.
Yes, I have been praying those prayers too. Since "...our wrestling is not against flesh and blood; but against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of this darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places", we need spiritual weapons to fight against these spiritual forces and the Auxilium Christianorum prayers are excellent ones to employ. btw, Auxilium Christianorum was started by Fr. Chad Ripperger, a holy exorcist. There are many of his videos on YouTube to watch. They are mostly about spiritual warfare. Please note: if you are thinking of starting to pray these prayers, read and follow the "Requirements" you will see linked to on the home page (http://auxiliumchristianorum.org/), the first of which is, "Prior to becoming a member of the Auxilium Christianorum, the layman is strongly exhorted to consult his spiritual director or confessor." God bless
I am not of the Beatles/Lennon generation. They were famous before I was born. As for Mr. Lennon's sustained popularity...I can only hazard a guess it's because he was an "Anti-Hero" figure. During my last go-around with Protestantism (1st time my parents' fault, the 2nd time my own), this being "Progressive Protestantism," I was surprised to discover a very real "championing" of Christians being flawed, troubled, even anarchist (like Mr. Lennon, who also preached "love"). That does not mesh with Scriptural "Spirit-filled Holiness." We are to be Christ-like and disciplined. During my "away from all church" years (late teens to early 40s), I did embrace "Imagine." But I naively didn't realize exactly what "Imagine" entails. The ugliness it could invite if and when "the rubber hits the road." 2016 was a REAL wake-up call.
This is so true. Evil is being normalized so much so that many people no longer recognize it. Frightening!
