I’m hoping today to set up my dumb phone with Freedom Mobile, after that, I want to decide what to do next with the remainder of my money. There’s this alternative currency called Goldback that, instead of data, is actually ultra-thin leaflets of gold, (https://goldback.com/) spend my money on getting that? Should I spend my money on prepping equipment like solar panels, water storage container, water filtration kits and the like? Should I spend it on permacultural equipment like a kombucha brewing git, corn grinder or something like that? (I already have a lot of seeds and the like here, and also have wheat, barely and maize heirloom seeds on the way) Should I spend it on more books to raise my future family in the Faith, learn more thing myself, and/or preserve this knowledge from the collapse of Post-Christian Civilization? (I already have a large collection of books by the way) Should I risk just saving it and trust that when I need it, mainstream currency hasn’t yet collapsed under this Chastisement? What is your advice?
If I were you (said cautiously as we're opposite gender and a generation apart) ... I'd focus on your homestead goals: what can get you onto one and starting as soon as possible, if that is still your plan.
Well, if you really want to focus on survival, I'd definitely get water purification stuff. Otherwise, I agree that you should save your money for putting toward your long-term goal of a homestead.
