Incredibly disappointed that a vicar of Christ would be involved with these evil, anti-catholic people who have no interest in repenting, not that PF cares.

It's not possible for a Vicar of Christ to participate at this kind of meeting even less from a secretary of state, if it's the case then anyone participating at the meeting in question (which will be a first) do not represent in no way the Catholic Church of the Lord, simple as that, thank you.

Thank you so much for your prayers. I do have a couple Catholic friends to commiserate with and give support to each other. Unfortunately, my wife (who was born Muslim [mostly just culturally as she was not raised to be religious] thinks organized religion is a major cause of so many problems in the world) and my kids do not go to Mass with me.

However, I am very strong in my faith thanks to God's mercy and love. I try to go to daily mass which I have been doing since 2010 (though my wife does not know I do). I pray Rosaries and Divine Mercy's daily and try and pray at many different points during my day. Still, I am surrounded by so many people that believe the same as my wife (I live in Southern California around a lot of affluant people in the entertainment industry and we have several friends who are gay and my daughters have friends in high school that are gay) and often I do not speak up in conversations on controversially topics (because to do so would definitely cause my wife to divorce me and I believe, through much prayer and discernment, that God wants me to stay with my wife and be in this situation - but it is something that I daily ask for discernment over). So for now I just pray a lot, and ask God to always give me the courage to do and say what He wants me to because He knows how easily I can be a coward without His grace and strength. So yes I very much welcome your prayers especially about discernment.

The good news is that I have given my wife and daughters (and continue to do so daily) to our Blessed Mother asking her to be their mother and watch over them and draw them into her Sorrowful and Immaculate heart and as such I have complete confidence in Mary's love and protection over them. I often pray to her under her title Mary undoer of knots regarding my family's situation. I also have certain saints that I often ask to watch over them and ask their intercession for my wife and daughters' conversions.

Because of my situation and how much it relates to the state of the world, I have come to understand that we are at a point, where the most important thing we can do is a lot of personal prayer and sacrifices and have faith that God is absolutely hearing our prayers and responding with a flood of grace in the world even if we don't see the immediate fruits of our prayers.

Yes, I have seen prayer for 3 friends in great need this week and 3 weeks ago answered!! Very close and reassuring indeed.
