No point crying over it now. Those Bishops are hypocrites. We know it and they know it. Sadly the likes of Biden and Pelosi know it too, have already taken advantage of it and will continue to do so. They will fund the equally hypocritical Catholic charities where the Bishops will preen themselves for taking care of the poor brought in to replace PP's American victims.

That demonic pattern will repeat itself. The Bishops will make an occasional lukewarm pro-life statement. To make it worse, they will prattle on about changing hearts and minds; and gullible laity will lap it up, salving their own consciences. When is the last time you heard anyone say "If you don't agree with murder, don't murder anyone" or "if you don't agree with slavery don't have slaves" followed by "No need for laws against murder or slavery; we need to change hearts and minds instead"? And PP and all the other abortion promoters will go to the immigrants' countries of origin telling them that if only they had more abortion they could be wealthy like the American and wouldn't need to emigrate. It's sheer evil. That any Catholic would support it, however remotely, is the clearest sign of the times we could have.

Pray for Fr. Z. And the other faithful priests. Years ago (and possibly currently in some areas) good men were hounded out of the seminaries. The survivors are now going to need all their strength of character and an abundance of God's grace as the proteges of those who presided over the corruption of our seminaries work to get them out of the priesthood. A bad Bishop could destroy a priest's faith. Pray for the Bishops too.

Exactly! The hearts and minds argument is bull. We can’t get to unthinkable without it being illegal first.

And what about those of us who could speak up? Talk to our own priests about what is going on and what is said in homilies? I think we need a place where we can state our piece, especially against those who are suppose to be standing up for the faith. When I read about how Bishops aren't standing for the Church, it really gets me going. They are suppose to lead the way here. So, maybe it's time we tell them what we think of them.

I agree...and everyone should! Many are so arrogant that they dismiss you as though they could care less....just as they did when they ignored....and still ignore, the abuse of children. Sometimes the only thing that they understand is $$$$$$$. If people’s in a diocese would start a campaign to stop collections, they might get their ear...but sadly, the bishops only pay lip service.
We are living in very corrupt times. If they don’t answer to the faithful now, they will answer to God later...
    But they will answer.

Nothing could be more black and white.

Biden is a pseudo-Catholic. He is an apostate from the one true faith.

He has excommunicated himself from the Body through his support of mass baby murder.

There is blood on his hands. The voice of the unborn cries to heaven against this man.

I am not an American. I have no vested interest in American politics.

But I have been pro-life all of my life and know a bad-one by his actions. And Biden is a bad one because he is a fraud.

Perhaps, even worse he is a Judas to the unborn.

I've just watched a Tumblar House video recorded before Biden's inauguration. According to Patrick Coulombe, a Jesuit was invited to be some kind of chaplain for Biden. And not just any Jesuit (not that the apostate would be short of like minded Jesuits to choose from. This one, Fr. Leo O'Donovan, is a former President of Georgetown University (epicentre of apostate Catholics in the US), former student of of the German pied piper of apostates, Karl Rahner. While President of Georgetown, O'Donovan funded an abortion advocacy group and permitted foetal tissue research at the College. That inauguration ceremony must have been a real demonic love-in.

And people will try to convince us that Pope Francis is pro-life because he once whispered something about it to the choir. If Biden weren't too old to be the AC, he would be a prime candidate. And we all know who would fit the bill for False Profit (hint: he's higher up the chain than the priest soaked in the blood of murdered babies).

The question now is what will the US Bishops (encouraged by the Pope) trade off to continue receiving money from the US government. My guess is "we won't call it marriage" ceremonies.

I think Fr O’Donovan gave the invocation prayer at the inauguration ceremony, too.

You know, we just got an online questionaire from the Diocese of Portsmouth, asking among other things all about how the lockdown has affected us.

Anyway to cut a long story short in reply to one of the questions where climate change was mentioned. I replied the Bishops need to concentrate on preaching the Gospel and leave the climate in the capable hands of God. Luckally it is anonymous.

Did you see the interview Church Militant did with the retired Bishop Gracidia (spelling probable wrong). It was a few years ago. In the interview the old Bishop said, if we are at Mass and the Priest preaches false teaching; we should stand up there and then and shout. You Are Wrong.

If you don't get thrown out, you would probably have to walk out. But the old Bishop said, if enough people did that the Priests would be very careful about preaching nonsense from the Pulpit again.

Rather you than me. I would be more likely to speak to the Priest after Mass, and ask why he was preaching false teaching.

Well let them bring it on. I would love to give them a piece of my mind. God forgive me. I did also say in the questionaire that by closing the Churches, a clear signal was sent out from the Bishops that our spiritual lives were not important. Our physical health was deemed more relevant than our souls. And I said I was very disappointed to have to see all this imposed on us with no fight to defend our Faith.

I had also send an email to our MP a few months ago, making it clear that the government should not ban people of Faith from fulfilling their obligations. If they want a country that is able to survive this in one piece.

Only five 5% of Catholics are attending weekly mass the moment. In Europe it will be far, far worse. Closing the Churches means most of the Faithful will never come back.

What makes you think the hierarchy went them back? This pandemic has gifted them the perfect excuse to cut Masses in the future. I've lost count of the number of online Masses I've watched where the priests talked about how people are telling them that not going to Mass has made them more spiritual because they read the Bible or pray instead. The message is going out that the Sunday obligation is a bad thing. Expect fewer Masses in the future and churches being used for climate change or social justice activism. They'll give it some saccharine name like fellowship of love but it won't be Mass. They might throw in the occasional Communion service led by a deaconette. Now that the Jesuits and their fellow travellers have weaned people off believing in the Real Presence or, indeed, the divinity of Jesus, they will need a replacement. Enter Gaia worship under the guise of care for our common home.

I will be surprised if we don't see some form of homosexual blessings within a year or two - all in the name of attracting the youth and reaching out to the peripheries. It might be too obvious to introduce it in the US where there are enough believing Catholics to see it for the financial arrangement it is. It could be introduced in a small nominally Catholic country where there would be little or no pushback and the lavender lobby has a lot of influence inside the Church. Maybe in a diocese where the newly installed Archbishop has already indicated that he would have no problem with it.

The arrangement for Biden to go to the Jesuit Masses gets Archbishop Gregory off the hook. Joe and the Jesuits can commit sacrilege to their hearts' content.
