This is spiritual warfare. Our greatest asset is our faith in God, and that leads us to His holy word, prayer and, especially, the Rosary. I've started praying regularly the first of the year, and hope to have spiritual breakthrough in this. The devil knows his powers are limited, as is his time. He'll take as many people to hell with him as he can get. These next four years will no doubt see darker days. This world is at risk and under attack. Let's pray for guidance and pray to take in only the truth, and ask for assurance on what that truth is. I've had doubts about Pope Francis for a long time. I hate to say that right now, but he seemed a bit soft on sin. Like when asked about homosexual relationships, he merely said "Who am I to judge?" Indeed, who are we to judge anyone, but the bible clearly states that this is a big time sin.

I wonder if it is possible that a significant number of Bishops have Red Pilled about Pope Francis and his Paradigm Shift// Revolution and are now, as they say, 'Lit' and digging their heels in'?

They don't want to know anymore about the Vatican Grand Plan?

Wow, Fr. Heilman banned from Facebook for sharing an article about ivermectin is very telling. It's all about the vaccine and not the cure. Follow the money. :(
Looks like Fr. Z had better be very careful, he may need to go into hiding.

Persecution begins in earnest. No telling how quickly this will escalate..

It doesn't look good. When they finish silencing the clergy, they will come after us. :(

Am I understanding that correctly to mean that people are complaining about Fr. Heilman to his Bishop and that it would help him if the Bishop were to receive messages supporting the good that Fr. Heilman does by helping people deepen their faith and giving them hope in these troubled times? If so, it's sad that a good priest like Fr. Heilman has to make such a request. We are flooded with scandalous stories of priests who have gone off the rails in their personal lives or are teaching a different Gospel than the one handed down to us. The good ones should be valued and supported.

I can imagine the type of people who are complaining to the Bishop. We see them all over social media. As often as not, their comments are prefaced with statements about their 12 years of Catholic education, their service as altar boys, or their closeness to priest friends/relatives. The really, really clever among them will throw in a nugget about how their superior knowledge comes from having been to Jesuit College. They're all the "I walk the talk" types, and more than a few of them are faithful followers of celebrity priests and bishops who also appear to believe that the Church got it wrong on intrinsic evil which, according to many of them, should jettison all but the one about not paying a just wage and replace abortion with capital punishment. They are, of course, unanimous in their support of sodomy being a praiseworthy act of love which deserves sacramental recognition.

Jesus came the first time when there was little difference between the chosen people and the pagans. It was their hierarchy who handed Jesus over to pagan justice. It's very possible that a replication of those times will herald His second coming. He had something to say about Jews who claimed Abraham as their father. And they were ethnic Jews. What would He say about Catholics who believe that Baptism or a Catholic education gives them the right to persecute faithful priests?

Suspending Fr. Heilman was the last straw for me. I will shortly be leaving FB.

Wow, your last paragraph is really food for thought. What an honor for us to live in a time where we will be treated like Christ was.

Fr. Heilman doesn't strike me as the type who would cry "Woe is me; I'm suffering just like Jesus". He's getting some flack, and that's all he said. What bothers me is the uneasy feeling I have that this heavy handed treatment of faithful Catholics with an internet following is being aided and abetted by people inside the Church. The first suggestion I saw that there be a naughty and nice list of Catholics online came from within the Church. I just find it hard to believe that it's all down to algorithms.

Fr. Z wrote about a "catholic antifa" which is going after traditional Catholics online:

There is a catholic Antifa now. They are feeling their ascendancy and they are applying it. We will see more persecution leveled at any one who strays from their demands. The New catholic Red Guard. They are bullies. They are easy to spot. They aren’t even trying to hide it anymore. In the near future they will be a force of great evil in the Church and we must find ways to resist them without stooping to their thuggery, without giving in to hate. God help them.

Fr. Z also asked for letters, etc., from those who have been helped by his ministry. Just like Fr. Heilman.

And who would doubt it? I'm fairly sure that Fr. Z. is a married priest who came into the Church with the Anglican Ordinariate. He may have a family to support, with the donations to his blogsite supplementing his income. If they succeed in silencing him, all they will achieve is showing that a married priesthood is not a solution to the priest shortage. Of course, their ultimate aim is priests, especially bishops, in same sex unions.

Fr. Z. is in their sights since the exorcisms. I reckon that Fr. Heilman has had a target on his back since he spoke about his time in the seminary where the homosexual seminarians had their own wing. Did you know that Bishop Barron and Archbishop Gregory were in seminary around the same time as him. He didn't say which wing they were in.

Not married. Fr Z was raised Lutheran, in Minnesota, before he converted. From his writings, I gather he was harassed in seminary for his traditional beliefs.

Father Zuhlsdorf was raised in a nominal Lutheran family. When he was seven his grandmother gave him two albums, one of classical music and another of Shakespeare’s plays. About the same time his mother decided that he should go to Sunday school at the Lutheran church. He reacted negatively to being taught that man’s will is totally depraved, wanting only evil. He thought, how could beautiful art be created by depraved people? In high school and college he drifted and was basically a pagan, but he still had a deep love of beauty. One Sunday he heard Gregorian chant on the radio. He visited the parish and was so moved that he was led by God to come to the Catholic Church. Later he was guided to the vocation of the priesthood and was ordained in St. Peter’s Basilica by St. John Paul II, in 1991.

That's a relief. Thank God he doesn't have the worry of protecting his family from the nastiness. I don't know where I got the idea that he moved from England to the US and was a convert from Anglicanism. Thanks for setting me straight.

I’ve seen this at a local level. When churches in my diocese first opened after covid some people were upset that they opened at all and would go to mass to find things to complain about the priest to the Bishop.

Indeed. Then treatment meted out to Timothy Gordon and his family was an example of what they mean by brotherly love and mercy. They had money and influence, and they made it talk. The greatest shame is on those who did their bidding.
