A suggestion from Fr. Rocky of relevant radio... Instead of singing "happy birthday" while washing your hands to get to 20 seconds, say two Hail Marys slowly and with attentiveness. I love the idea. For many years when someone says "Jesus Christ" I immediately say (in my mind) " have mercy on us". Turn something negitive into a prayer.
