I want to learn Spanish and French. Spanish, because I want to visit my grandparents in Chile sometime in the future, and perhaps even give them support in their old age. Also my parish priest approached me a few weeks ago and recommended I accompany him on next year’s world youth day in Portugal, and so it would help a lot for me to know Spanish by then, even though Spanish and Portuguese aren’t entirely mutually intelligible. I also want to learn French because I want to visit the Shrine of Our Lady of the Cape in Trois Rivieres, Quebec, and I figured I’d have the experience there if I knew French. I’ve been working on the two languages for sometime, but am having a bit of difficulty with finding time to study and practice them. I think it would help a lot if I had access to online Traditional Catholic media in the two languages to help me with learning and practicing them. Does anyone know of any online Faithful Catholic media in Spanish or French, particular media that is based in Chile or Quebec?
EWTN has a Spanish section. If you go to EWTN directly via Roku, you can go to their Spanish programing, it is excellent. I highly recommend it. They air their programming to all of South America, including Chile.
