I come to ask for prayers. At this point I feel my parrents need a miracle to belive. I thought the warning could open there eyes. Knowing the warning will most likly happen in a even year (I'm not speculating or trying to guess but I really need a miracle) I'll have to wait 2022 I hope that is the year of not that's ok. I want to help convert sinners. I pray everyday but people dont seem to listen. Ive tried talking to my parrents it wasnt pretty. Dore anyone have any opiouns on 2022 and I am in no way trying to guess dates what I'm asking do you know anything about 2022 that could be related. Thank you God bless you.
Pray the Rosary and fast for 30 days before talking to your parents. nobody knows the date of the warning and this date can be postponed by God if he wants so.
It could be 2022 or 2029 or any other year, perhaps beyond 2029. Just trust in the Lords Divine mercy! The Lord will lead you and you will be amazed at his love and care God bless
God can change souls in an instant. He likes people to have to have confidence and ask for huge things and to want them right away. Ask him to kick ass right now.
We can only speculate on when things will happen. Speculation is a hard thing. I don't like doing it as is creates sadness when dates are missed. Luckily God is in charge and His ways are not our ways. And thank goodness for that. I will pray for you Sponsa. It can be very discouraging to pray and see no results. But we can't see everything. Your prayers are working. I am sure of it. It might just be beneath the surface where we mere mortals can't see. St. Monica, pray for us!
Keep praying. Your prayers will be answered. My mother spent her life praying for a wayward son. Within a year of her death he changed his attitude and now prays every day himself. I don't hit him with the 'Warning' or any prophecies as it would scare him. I'm happy to see him travel his own path and he is now facing in the right direction. Keep up the prayer and give good example of your love and joy in the Lord. Leave everything else in the Lords hands
JUNE 16, 2020 BY MSGR. CHARLES POPE http://blog.adw.org/2020/06/on-the-power-of-one-small-prayer/ On the Power of One Small Prayer Praying the rosary today I marveled once again at the Fatima prayer, which is recited at the end of each decade: O my Jesus, forgive us our sins; save us from the fires of Hell. Lead all souls to heaven, especially those in most need of thy mercy! I have often wondered how God reacts to a prayer like this. I am awed by the power of this simple prayer, even if said in a distracted way. God is surely pleased that we ask for the salvation of souls and that we have in mind especially those who are most in need, most lost, most wayward. How many times have we prayed this in the rosary and what have been its effects? It is astonishing and humbling to consider this. Perhaps in Heaven we will be greeted by grateful souls who will tell us that at a certain time on a particular date God heard our prayer for lost souls and applied it to them! We, too, will come to know what a difference the prayers of others made for us. In recent years during confessions, I often ask the penitent to offer an “Our Father” and a “Hail Mary” for that soul (known only to God) who is now most in need of His grace and mercy. God knows not only who is in most need of His mercy but also who is opento receiving that mercy. It is a beautiful thought to engage the battle for that soul and to consider that our prayer may be the prove to be the tipping point. God knows how to coordinate all this; we do not. But He asks us to join Him in this work and to pray for the conversion of sinners and the consolation of suffering. In so doing we engage the battle for souls, including our own. Just a brief consideration of the value of one small prayer that reaches someone in most need of God’s mercy.
Awww don’t worry! Keep on praying! God hears your fervent prayers for your parents and others. In fact you should thank Jesus for working on their conversion! I feel the same way a lot! Nobody in my family feels the same way as I do about our faith. I pray all the time for the deepening of their faith. today while praying the sorrowful mysteries, I offered the mysteries for my family as such: Agony in the Garden: I contemplated Jesus in His Agony in the garden for all of our sins past present and future...mine and those who do not know and love Him yet. I’m at the rock with Jesus seeing Him so sorrowful unto death...when I pray “Oh my Jesus, save us ....”, I bring whoever it is that I know needs Him. scourged at the pillar: I thought about all those wounds he bore for all of our sins....I offered His Precious Blood that was spilled for the “violent and faithless that we are seeing these days” that they could be converted. I also imagined my family members watching and crying understanding that He did this for us! Imagined Blessed Mother cleaning up His Precious Blood and I try to help. Crowning with Thorns: I meditated that the thorns that pierced His Divine Head was from every prideful act....that we all humble ourselves....especially those leaders and such that are so proud. Carrying of His Cross: I prayed that I always learn to help Jesus carry His Cross. Imagined being Veronica and being blessed to be able to wipe His Holy Face. Then I pictured my husband and two sons feeling so moved by Jesus under the weight of the Cross, that they help Him carry it...so many humbling moments for us. Jesus Crucified: I mediated on being at the door of the Cross and am there when Jesus tells His Mother to be Mother to us all. What a moment. My day can now begin with renewed hope because it is in the Lord!! Amen!
Love this video! Msgr Pope is the pastor of a church in the Archdiocese of Washington DC that has a wonderful praise choir. I saw them on TV as he offered Mass at the National Shrine.
PART 11: Fr. Michel Rodrigue – Praying for Your Loved Ones Fr. Michel Rodrigue speaks to those concerned about the salvation of loved ones. Many ask me, “Father, my children. Father, my children.” Every minute I am with people, they ask me about that. Listen to me well. I think that now we have to pray for families, we have to gather our families. But the problem you say, father, is that they don’t want to listen to us. And I know that, and I will repeat what I said last year. Renew your consecration to the Holy Hearts of Jesus and Mary. This is the first thing that we must do together in our family. Don’t judge those who don’t want to do it with you—your children who refuse. Don’t curse them. Don’t push them. Instead, pray for the day when they will be enlightened to make their own choice. Pray that after the illumination of conscience, they will receive the grace of conversion, say yes to Jesus, and receive God totally, freely. With your prayers and sacrifices of today, with the love that you carry in your heart for them, you give them the blessing that you, too, will receive from Him to be aware of what to do. Because of this love and care that you have today for your family, they will remember you. They will think, “My father taught me that. . . My mother taught me. They were communicating the truth to me. I must go home. They will guide me. I need them.” The seed you planted in them will flourish at that moment. They will return to you and you will reinstruct them regarding their faith. You have six weeks to do it. And so, do it with love. The same desire you have in your heart, Our Eternal Father has in His heart. You have this desire because your fatherhood and motherhood come from His Fatherhood. St. Pope John Paul II touched every part of the teaching of the Church, and one of the greatest things he did was to give a new Catechism of the Catholic faith. Every family must have this catechism. In there is the teaching of the Church. You must pray for this enlightenment that they will have after the Warning when they will be free to accept Jesus and learn from you. If you force them now, you will make them stubborn, resistant, argumentative, which are works of the devil. When you bug them, you exhaust them. You have to use the gift of wisdom. Pray for them. Be witnesses of your love of Christ in front of them, and answer when they question you. Don’t bark at them like a pitbull. You think that you are serving the Lord when you are doing this. Huh! The devil uses what you are doing to make them bigger sinners. You understand now? So, pray for them. Pray silently, as the Virgin Mary prays, with humility for this time of the Warning. It will be the greatest gift that this world will receive. When you pray together as a family, pray in front of an image or manger of the holy family. Your contemplation of the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, and the baby Jesus will bring so many graces to your family that the unity of your family will be restored. When we want to be clean, we go for clean water, but the world today is not clean. It offer us dirty water. Every time someone leaves your home, you know that the spirit of this world will try to trap the person with very unclean things. Because of your prayer, because of the holy family, everyone who leaves your home will be able to resist the tempter because they will be protected. This is why it is hard to announce the good news in front of our friends, in front of our children. But they need to hear it. While we must be careful not to push too much, we must announce and invite. This is hard because the demon wants to mute us, to shut us up. One day, when I was getting ready to do an exorcism, I said to the sister who was accompanying me, “It’s not hard. It is the Kingdom of God that will come upon this person.” And I heard, “Shut up!” I said, “Shut up, yourself!” So we wait for the great merciful tenderness of the Lord given through the Illumination of Conscience.
Remember Sponsa many people will enter the Church in the last days. I have family myself who insult the Lord with bold claims of the church falling and being powerless to the world. They say these things like countless people before them, but all these things can be forgiven them. Don't give up.
You know it's so strange how the Lord works. My Dad and my Husband were both agnostics when I left for Medjugorje. I climbed Mt Krizevak barefoot while praying the Sorrowful Mysteries and doing the Stations of the Cross. I did not have a mark on my feet. Others had their sneakers and shoes ripped up. I didn't have a scratch. When I came home they became the MOST DEVOUT CATHOLICS around. Both of them. To this day. It was a miracle. Fast forward, my adult sons are 33 and 29 and both have walked away from their Catholicism. I pray daily for them. My recent diagnosis of Cancer has changed them. Especially because it has been upgraded to Stage 3. I ask my Sons to intervene for me by prayer to Mary as she always works miracles for me. They say they do. I get messages from them, Praying for you.....they never prayed before.....The Lord works in very mysterious ways. I love to sit on the sidelines and watch His work.....
Aww Donna, such a very, very touching post. Thank you. Praying for you through the night. Such a great, great attitude and Faith.
I deserved hell, but Our Blessed Mother intervened. People have received the Warning... Pray that God will do so for your parents. No need to wait for a date that may or may not be accurate. God exists outside of time.
Likewise. I personally was living a very wayward life and was probably the last person you would expect to return to and practice the Faith, but God intervened in a miraculous way. I know Our Lady played a central role in it too, with many trips to Medjugorje along the way Also, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy is a powerful prayer both to be prayed for oneself and for someone else, praise God!
the Divine Mercy Chaplet is a game changer for our families who have walked away from the faith! My son was working in Vilnius, Lithuania for 3 months for NASDAQ. I asked him before his return to go to the site of the Divine Mercy Chapel and obtain for me a medal for my chain. He went almost daily and there were always masses going on and he said it was so small he would be disruptive. I told him it wouldn't kill him to go in once during the mass. He laughed..... He finally got there when no services were going on and inquired about purchasing a medal. They said they had no gift shop but could obtain a religious medal at one shop in town. They gave him the name. He brought his friend to translate as the shop was owned by Russians. The friend was an athiest and did not want to go in and ask for medal of the BVM. Ultimately he came in and helped my son. My son said they had NO IMAGES OF THE DIVINE MERCY....in Vilnius the beginning of the DM and her journey....So he purchased a medal for me and it wound up being of Our Lady Of Czestochowa....and it's beautiful...the symbol of Eastern Catholicism..... I believe these are seeds planted in his return to the faith. I wait patiently as St Monica did and know the Lord has a greater plan than mine.
