The warning second coming

Wow, this thread has become very interesting again...Padraig, thank you for your concise intrepretation of the Third Secret. I always love to see exactly what others think, how they intrepret things, especially those who I feel have a keen insight or "back door" perhaps, to our Blessed Mother and Jesus.

Ever since the first time I read the Third Secret in its entirety, when I read about the Cross and the hill, I immediately thought of Medjugorje, and Cross Mountain. Then, when I learned about Fr. Slavko dying on the hill at the 14th station (within sight of the Cross), I took that as a sign too. I know I am often way out there and a bit goofy, but even today when I read about the third secret, I ALWAYS picture what the locals call the "Hill" where the cross is at Medjugorje. The history of the cross on the hill, how it was made by the hands of the faithful way back in the 1930's, well, it is indeed a very special place.

Further, when I learned that many were looking at Fr. Sudak as the possible Good Shephard Pope, well, that did it for me. He is all about Medjugorje, and if he were in the Vatican, and if he had to flee, where might he go? Of course it may be a Pope further down the line yet, we don't know for sure, but doesn't this kindof fit? I too, think the Pope will be at a cross on a hill literally...in fact, other than Cross Mountain, I have thought to look for other possible large crosses where he might climb to for safety, but what a perfect tie-in to Medjugorje if this were the place.

Not sure who these days would be shooting arrows though...

The power of our prayer is huge. I think we continuallly underestimate it. We can, by prayer, keep our loved ones safe, when they themselves do not have the same faith or pray for themselves. Remember, Mary is coming for the unbelievers, so she puts great importance in them. Even though they turn away now, it is our job to let them know what we can now, so that when the warning comes they will understand. It is unbelievers like our doubting family members who will be converted by the Warning, I truly believe this. Planting seeds now in their heads and praying for them to understand and convert I really believe will insure this. Remember too though, that even in dying our loved ones are saved, so will some die? Probably. Will it mean they have not been protected by our prayers? No. Perhaps for some, dying will be a way to spare them from the chastisements to come. Their own personal rapture, so to speak. Remember God will not allow us to carry a cross we cannot bear, if the future is something that a person cannot bear, perhaps in God's great compassion and wisdom he will remove them from it by "taking" them (in death) before it happens. So I pray for my family to realize their faith, to be able to understand and then to help others close to them to understand when the warning comes. In this way, in helping others, they will convert themselves and also become strong enough to do God's work in the coming days. Also, ANGELS - don't forget our angels. Ask them to go to our loved ones, ask them to help us all to survive and to continue the work God wants us to do after the Warning. They are here for us, and they can band together just like we can, to protect loved ones and our Priests and even structures like Churches or homes.

On this forum we have seen how strong and powerful prayer can be. We are constantly witnessing small miracles that seem to occur because of our prayer. So in this I believe that the visionary is completely right. Never give up on our loved ones, or our own prayers. I believe that someone who never prays can be lifted to God solely by the prayers of others when his time comes. When that person faces God, he will see that others have prayed for him, and he will say yes to God's mercy, and God will be merciful (but also just). He will go through purification in purgatory, of course, but he will have hope. And as we continue to pray for him after death, we will continue to fuel his hope, and one day he will be able to be with God in his glory! I have to believe this, as my dad falls into this category. I know God will be just, but also be gentle with him because of our love and prayers.

It saddens me that so many non-Catholics do not believe in praying for the dead...but, I also think that simply thinking of a deceased person with love and compassion, or by loving them continually in our hearts, is a prayer in God's eyes. I believe that the angels take these good thoughts to God as prayers for those in purgatory who need them. Also, doing good works in their name is a powerful intercession for them, and many people do things in memory of their loved ones. In doing these things, they are offering up a powerful prayer for them, whether they know it or not. So I believe that people pray even without realizing it is a prayer. BUT, real, concious prayer is of course much more powerful, and having a Mass said for a loved one is more powerful yet. We know by the testimonies of Saints that having a Mass said for someone has brought them out of Purgatory. So the more we can pray, the more indulgences we offer for our loved ones, whether alive or dead, the sooner they will be converted, or the sooner they will be able to go to be with God in heaven.

Thanks. I am getting a blessed salt refill care package together for them tomorrow, in fact. Whatever works, you know. They also have the St. Michael medal I gave them hanging on their car mirror, and sometimes I see Amethyst wearing it.

 

In the messages on Maria's website it says that the warning is coming very soon however in Garabandal didnt Our Lady say that when communism is back and everything is at its worst the warning will happen? And communism is meant to come back after the Pope visits Russia and returns to Rome, havent heard anything about a Papal visit being organised yet and Im sure it would be in the news etc.

I am not disagreeing completely with the messages I do think things will happen very soon, I will keep an open mind however we should be wary because of the way they are a bit defensive and of course if Satan is trying to trick us he would put a good amount of truth (telling us to pray etc) or else we wouldnt believe the messages and we would write them off straight away! He would want to lure us in as best as possible Im sure and distract us from real seers (I am not saying Maria is not genuine). It was weird though how Maria stopped posting on this site, I have a good feeling about this site and the people who have created it, however the messages on her site made me feel panicky and hopeless and not in a good frame of mind to pray, and I dont think she would have been forbidden by Jesus to stay in this forum to help us believe, if the messages are true.

Thanks again Moms calling I really value your opinion you seem to be at peace and have a lot of trust in God, maybe the Holy Spirit is working through you when you write your posts lol. I have been praying to him for the gift of discernment.

Padraig I also trust your opinions you seem very humble but knowledgeable, you have probably told people here so many times about your vision of Our Lady in 1981, I have only just noticed the older posts here, can you tell me about what happened and did she guide you to create this forum?

Yes Angela I did feel Our Lady asking me in prayer to start this forum. To cater for her children in difficult times when they will urgently seek answers in the future.

I feel her presence here very strongly and believe she takes an personal interest in what goes on here, which is why I pray before I post, in fact you could say she is the founder member. :wink:

It is a bit scarey Gail and Sean to check out the internet and find you leave such a big foot print in it and one that never seems to go away. I typed in, 'On Meeting Mary and Learning how to pray', and I don't know how many sites I found with this story on it. :lol: However if its a good foot print ..I suppose it doesn't matter but if its a bad one....like,say loosing your temper with someone, especially unbelievers....as I have sometimes done...it stays up there forever. ..which is not so good... The Internet has a never failing memory and a total unforgiveness to faults.

If I knew any young people starting out to post on sites like Face Book I would warn them to be very,very careful what they post, for what goes up never ,ever seems to come down.....also not to trust everyone...there are some very,very wicked and clever folks out there...

I would say one thing about this site. I always seem to be , 'In my Sunday best' on this site and always post on Spiritual matters, this is a Marian grace and may give a wrong impression of me as being better than I am . I have my faults like anyone else but I have found Mary giving me a hand out here and I thank her for it.

In the beginning of this newer post he forbids her again, see, I just don't like this type of thing either, it doesn't bring a sense of well-being within me, but then, who knows what is happening in conversation that is not being posted? Maybe she is resisting too much and afraid. If he is not God, but a demon, then this could be very dangerous for her. She may indeed be afraid. If it is God, then I would think he would not be so worried about her human influence on his messages. The visionaries of Medjugorje say that they simply cannot speak of things they are not supposed to speak of. That it is somehow easy and perhaps divinely controlled. Mirjana often jokes that proof of this is Jakov - he could not keep a secret if his life depended on it, yet he keeps the secrets that Mary has entrusted him with, and it is not because he is afraid of her...

 

:lol: that part made me laugh, I imagine a lot of people think that at first. that is an amazing story, thanks for telling us Padraig you have probably told it so many times already. Belfast must have been awful in those days, I cant even imagine it- amazing how you survived prison as well, God definitely had plans for you.

Eeverything you said about prayer was interesting as well, puts it into perspective. The conversation about the spirits, exorcism etc was so interesting as well, I dont think people speak about that kind of thing openly enough in general, and it is such a real issue.

 

Moms calling- yes I agree with you, Maria was told to keep silent and 'keep to herself' which I find strange, we are meant to spread the word and if we are ridiculed or challenged so be it. also I dont remember noticing if a year was ever given before for the tribulation but 2012 is mentioned here, just seems too detailed or something.

 

I dont have a problem with Maria not posting here. Her mission is to just give her message as it is given to her. If you are unsure of her then pray for discernment and follow your instincts. I haven seen anything on her site other than to pray especially for those far from God that they will be given mercy during the warning. Much discussion on the future can be a distraction. Just pray and fast in whatever way you can. I think Our Lady's message of 25th July says it all 'Rest your body and spirit, may they be in God’s love'.

Pray and trust. I am always reluctant to condemn a visionary as they may be Gods messenger. Just take what is good and if you arent happy with it leave it alone. Stick close to the sacraments and the rosary and divine mercy chaplet and you wont go wrong.

Ever since I have been reading these messages from TWSC web site, my soul has been on fire with love for Jesus. Each day is more special than the last and it is such a joy to go to mass in the morning before work.

I feel the Holy Spirit is really working in my life, but His work isn't coming to me directly from these messages. His Spirit is coming to me because of frequent adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, more frequent confession, the rosary, Divine Mercy and prayer. These messages inspire me to do these things and when we do, God fills us all with graces.

This isn't anything new, just like the private revelations of other seers, they are gifts from God to us. They are suppose to lead you to Jesus in the church. I do not care if there are no more messages, because my faith does not depend on them, but I do care if there are no more holy masses, communion and the sacraments.

I Love Jesus, His Holy Mother and the Church. I love the Saints, just like you. And most of all I love God The Father who in His great love and mercy for us, His children has sent us people to help us during this difficult and dark times.

I live outside of Washington, DC and I can tell you we are already beyond the point of no return and everyday is a gift because soon it will be a struggle to find a holy mass to attend. We have many good and holy priests and people just seem to take what is the state of the world today for granted. Everything is changing so fast, soon it will all make sense. Don't be a doubting Thomas, pray and ask the Holy Spirit to open your heart. Jesus I Trust in You.
