I posted this last night on the Blessed Alexandrina thread: "Yes, it seems like Bl. Alexandrina's time is approaching. I wonder if it might have to do with defending the Catholic Belief in the Real Presence of Our Lord in the Eucharist, if the're were to be any attempts to 'update' that Teaching in the name of ecumenism and 'fraternity'. I know it sounds unlikely to happen but who knows, these strange days." Then earlier today I happened to see this video by Anthony Stine, commenting on a document issued by the Vatican yesterday on 'ecological sin', which also mentions the Eucharist in a less than Catholic way. https://www.youtube.com/live/nWSqb6dom2A?is=ZO9EjixvzKEAFu-Pp
Yes Agnes, I was quite taken aback by it too. You rightly said, on the Aleexandrina thread, that it wasn't as unlikely as it seemed that the Eucharist could be 'updated' or spoken about in more 'synodal' language. I just wasn't expeching it to be confirmed so soon.
Me neither Dan. But they are running out of time.. they are in quite a hurry. May Mother Mary cover us in her mantle
