Pope Saint John Paul II’s Reported Vision of Islamist Invasion of Europe Revealed (https://www.ucatholic.com/news/pope...38k-lof51OYigUF1kDLdTu7Xm8baN4Y85GoRhHFrNJaxw) By Ryan Scheel - December 1, 2017 A former confidant of Pope Saint John Paul II revealed that the late Polish pontiff had a prophetic vision of an Islamist invasion of Europe. At the Hermitage of Saints Peter and Paul in Bienno, northern Italy on Saint John Paul II’s feast day, Monsignor Mauro Longhi gave a lecture where he revealed the details of the vision. Longhi, a priest of Opus Dei, frequently accompanied John Paul II on his mountain hikes and ski trips in the Italian province of L’Aquila when he was a student from 1985 to 1995. Longhi says he was a mystic who “dialogued” with the Virgin Mary and had prophetic visions – the particular vision of an Islamist invasion of Europe took place in 1992. During their ski trips, Longhi and John Paul II would stay at an Opus Dei home in the mountains of Abruzzo. Longhi said that John Paul II would kneel at the tabernacle of the Opus Dei chapel, and converse “at times even animatedly” with God. He also said that one the John Paul II’s closest friends, Cardinal Andrzej Deskur, told him the late pontiff had the “gift of visions.” “He speaks to God Incarnate, Jesus; he sees His face and he sees also the face of His mother” – Cardinal Andrzej Deskur According to Mgr Longhi, in 1992 Pope Saint John Paul II revealed to him: “Tell this to those whom you will meet in the Church of the third millennium. I see the Church afflicted by a mortal wound. More profound, more painful than those of this millennium, [referring to Communism and Nazi totalitarianism] It is called Islamism. They will invade Europe. I have seen the hordes come from the West to the East, and then told to me each country one by one: from Morocco to Libya to Egypt, and so on till the East… They will invade Europe; Europe will be like a basement, old relics, shadows, cobwebs. Family heirlooms. You, the Church of the third millennium, must contain the invasion. Not with armies, armies will not be enough, but with your faith, lived with integrity.”
Michael Voris reminds me of the Energizer Bunny or better yet a favorite coach. In addition, he takes his birth name very seriously imho, he is following in the footsteps of the Archangel Michael. Mario, I believe that Pope Francis has distributed more power to the bishops already but I want to let you and everyone here know that the document is done. I have not read it yet but it is finished. Here is a link to it http://press.vatican.va/content/salastampa/it/bollettino/pubblico/2019/04/02/0276/00556.html#inglese Until I find articles from Catholic news agencies, I found the following: Pope Francis Says Women Have 'Legitimate Claims' for Justice, Calls Virgin Mary an 'Influencer' April 2, 2019 http://time.com/5562780/pope-francis-women-equality-catholic-church/ Wait, I just found this... I am aghast! The vast wisdom of the Church is thrown in the gutter! There is so much that grieves my spirit, I don't know where to begin. O Lord, my heart is broken. The strong current of modernism pulls me under as I search for a secure foothold: Ps 69:1 Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck. 2 I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold; I have come into deep waters, and the flood sweeps over me. 3 I am weary with my crying; my throat is parched. My eyes grow dim with waiting for my God. This document will drive the traditionalists to the brink of schism. Safe in the Barque of Peter!
Not that this site thinks that much of this particular Pope, but....... Marxist Pope Francis Blames Wars and Massive Migration Numbers from Socialist Hellholes on Capitalism Pope Francis was attacking the West again in his recent interview that took place before he departed from Morocco last week. The Marxist Pope blamed capitalism and greed for the massive flood of migrants into the West. He took several shots at the United States blaming the massive influx of migrants from Socialist sh*tholes on capitalism when the exact opposite is true. This uneducated dope continues to spread a very dangerous message at a time when the global community needs principled leadership. What a disgrace. Via American Thinker and The Daily Caller: Francis laid the blame for poverty and war at the feet of capitalism, saying it provokes the situations that cause migrants to flee their home countries. He said nothing, however, concerning the destructive influence of socialism that has created social, political and economic crises in South American countries like Venezuela. “This is the hourglass,” Francis said. “Capitalism conceived of as a savage, not a social market economy […] What doesn’t work is the world of finance. This also creates wars, for the possession of wealth, does it not, whether they are international or national? I argue that we are already in a third world war, in pieces.” https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/20...m-socialist-hellholes-and-wars-on-capitalism/
Ya, who needs the rigid truths of Church doctrines when we have the mellenials who can tell us all about the unchanging truths of their god? Their god of happy clappy anything goes. Our pope is brilliant to put them ahead of the wisdom of our church and its saints who died living and loving the truth and the cross . I've seen their "wisdom" of their world and want none of it. Their world of relativism and subjective truth is from the dark world. As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Actually I think young people who turn to the the True Faith are wonderful. Pope Francis uses, 'Youth', as an excuse to bring forth Modernist changes as though all young people thought the exact same way he does. As though all young people were modernists. This is not so. I watch many young people in Church, including at the Latin Mass and am truly inspired by them. Do not go down the rabbit hole Pope Francis places before you. Not all young people think as he does, thank God. Many would fall back in total horror at his plans. Pope Francis and the Modernists do not own our young people, bless them. They will surprise us all yet. Look at many of our young priests and religious for example. Many of them are quite startling in their sanctity.
Fr. Cusick has been offering the TLM on First Fridays at the National Shrine so that Catholic University students can attend He gets a good crowd
Indeed. Most of the modernists in the Church, like PF, are old men. Old men obsessed with ideologies that are already out of date.
Mario, Yes, Lord have mercy! "Islam is the religion of the state [of Morocco], and their criminal code prohibits undermining Islam or proselytizing.", this was from the following article http://www.ncregister.com/daily-new...nger-in-christian-countries-pope-francis-says . I can't imagine any Imam going to a mainly Christian nation and stating something similar to what Pope Francis has stated in Morocco about proselytizing or (conversion/evangelism). It is also important to note that there are few Christian nations which have laws that prohibit the undermining of Christianity or in which Muslim converts need to worship in secret the way that Christian converts need to worship in secret in Morocco. In my opinion, Morocco may be more welcoming to Christians than other Muslim nations but I don't think that the pope should have stated the following, “I can say that in Morocco there is freedom of worship, there is religious freedom.” - this is not correct at all, this is plain wrong.
At my Holy Hour Minday after pouring out my heart to the Lord on this very grief over the Church and in my no longer churched family I got a loud and clear "word" to go to psalm 28 vs 6. I was startled to read "give praise to the Lord. He has heard my cry for help." I had immediately a feeling of great peace and hope restored. It is His battle. We must pray and not grow discouraged and trust that He has got this!
Being a parent of 11 and some still in high school and college, I have to disagree. Few youth are left seen in church in most places. Yes, one can find a traditional church here or there that are outside the norm for youth attendance, but I get around enough to many Catholic churches throughout the Midwest USA and one can practically count the number of high school and college age students on your ten fingers in most churches I attend. This is because, the catechisis has been so awful bad in the past many decades. Now with today's cell phones, this is what nearly all of the them want to do, is hibernate and hang out on their phones. The universities are a bastion of liberalism/socialism and if one can come out of there still practicing the faith, consider it a minor miracle. One of my daughters had a college class last year where the professor brought in a few gays and then proceeded to ask the students there, who thinks they were born this way, to which all but my daughter raised her hand. Then she asked how many think they chose this life style and my daughter was the only one to raise her hand. It took allot of faith to know your going to be stood up when the whole class goes against you, but by the grace of God she did it. I would say the youth are probably close to the general population of about 5-10% faithful to the faith and Christian teachings. Yes, you can find faithful young priests.... but they are too few in number. I have a niece who is in the order of St. John in France and she has said on numerous occasions there is hardly anyone going to church there and practically no youth. I think the cancer is everywhere...... but a few pockets here and there of faithful.

I got about half way through the document. This being Lent, I will confine myself to thanking God that Pope Francis wasn't around when the New Testament was recorded on paper, otherwise we'd need a wheelbarrow to carry a copy of the epistles. That said, it didn't start out too bad. After reading the section about educational institutions - the irony of a Jesuit telling us how to use schools and Colleges to deepen the faith of young Catholics - I knew it would be all downhill from there. It took a nose dive at the next section and I couldn't take any more. Best to pray for Jesus to protect His Church and to protect our young Catholics from the wolves. Maybe someone who had the stomach to read the document to the end would enlighten me as to what was the point of it all. Is there an Amoris Laetitia type footnote that all the verbiage was designed to gloss over?
