It is fear, the State will be there Father and Mother and then their God. This is already true in places like China.
Fatima, I believe that you have misunderstood my post and you may want to read it again but to clear up a few points... I didn't say anything about anyone's like or dislike of alleged/unapproved messages but I think that most here do not want to see them constantly posted all over the forum especially those messages which have not been offered to a bishop of the Church for consideration like GSWYL and certainly not messages from seers which have been deemed "inappropriate" by the Church like Vassula Ryden. Of course, we are all free to debate about them when they are posted but from what I have observed on the forum there are plenty of threads dedicated to various unapproved messages/seers which many members do not post on at all because they have no interest in them often due to their disbelief in the messages. I think that you are a valued member on the forum and you certainly understand what I am referring to.
One of the things that really bothers me when people speak of some unapproved "message" is that they incorrectly say "God said..." or "Our Lady said..." When in reality all we know is "The seer said..." I am not against all unapproved prophecy even though I believe much of it does not come from Heaven. What I am very much against is people putting it on the same level as approved prophecy by citing as "Direct quotes from Heaven" any old seer they happen to be quoting. Language is important. Words have meaning. If someone states "Our lady said ..." Then they are attempting to state as fact something about which they have no surety.
Just to tie the topic into this thread.....and then to proceed to the proper thread that has previously been started specifically for this topic.....the "Vatican has fallen" in its failure to respond in a timely manner to the orders from heaven through such visitations or to even comply with the one order that if done would have spared the faithful and the world from great suffering until we've arrived at the situation we see all around us today! The Church has sinned grievously against the faithful and must repent itself and beg God's Mercy as it expects the people to do.
The reason people may offer "God said" or "Our Lady said" when repeating a particular group of messages is I would think simply to differentiate, within those particular messages, from whom the ideas allegedly came from to the one receiving them. Whether anyone chooses to believe in or trust such words is up to them during their discernment, but the messages would be difficult to comprehend if one couldn't identify the character supposedly speaking.
Another one from Mark on Pope Francis: POPE FRANCIS ON… https://www.markmallett.com/blog/2018/04/24/pope-francis-on/
And for every one of these faithful sounding statements, there are words or actions diametrically opposed to them by this same pope. Pay attention to what he does or permits and who he appoints, not what he says, which is carefully done to keep faithful Catholics asleep in the pews when they might otherwise take exception to what he does or permits and who he appoints.
One could easily identify the supposed speaker by simply saying who the "seers" claim it is. It ain't that hard. This is almost never done though.
I like Mark Mallett. I think he is a very good person and very humble. Often he has good insights and some very thoughtful things to say. Unfortunately he takes being charitable to the point of either extreme naivete and a total misunderstanding of the current situation or he sees what is going on and is simply making excuses. That is exactly what the Vatican is counting on. Catholics who will not stand up and recognize the problem. Ones who will offer excuses for what is happening. Who will roll over and follow error. The Vatican and the Church are in meltdown. Just saying "There is nothing to see here" won't make the problem go away.
Well , I think a very good example of a bad device of this type was the TV. In theory of course we could either just switch off or change channel but in practice I found I kind of sponged things up. In a way it is a bit like the old saying, 'If you want to know someone look at their friends'. We are what we read, what we see, who we relate too. We could not help to some degree becoming like what we grow close too. Which is why I threw my TV out. The internet, on the other hand I think gives more choice, more room for moving abo0ut...or maybe I am just fooling myself Facebook is another example, perhaps of us soaking stuff up unconciously, it has a radical Liberal agenda in its very DNA,
When the devil tempts us he does not tempt us to do evil for evil's sake. He tempts us by portraying evil as good and good as evil. As Archbishop Sheen points out when he tempts us he comes in the pose of being our defender and being on our side; it is only after we have fallen from grace and sinned that he becomes our prosecutor before the throne of grace. The devil now that he entered into the very highest echelons of the Church was never going to come in the very obvious guise of evil. No he was always going to deck himself in the outward sides of goodness and so to cloak the hidden deep evil within. For every huge evil he cloaks himself with an alternate good. Sadly this has produced huge confusion with the Church itself. Somehow many Catholics do not seem able to see the truth that great evil and apparent great good can walk side by side. The one a cloak for the other. But I suspect people go back to sleep when they hear the burglar in the house simply through laziness and lack of watchfulness. They would rather doze on than make difficult choices. Sleep being a lot easier than waking up to the danger.
Padraig, future will tell us.... I now only see Jesus answering through the voice of the Pope in above-mentioned videos. Jesus Himself would have replied in the same way as the Pope, knowing that Pharisees would toss and turn His words and behavior, causing division between Christians and religious groups. Jesus went to people living in great sin and loved them.... He was criticized If He is behaving like that, do you think the Pope should behave otherwise ? It is not through division or condemnation that you will bring back Lutherans, Protestants etc to the Catholic Truth. The mission of Vassula Reyden is very clear with respect to that. I see I fall again in the trap of discussion... over to prayer.
I think BrianK and Praetorian nailed it. These are perfect analyses. I love Mark but when it comes to the current pope Mark is
If you want to really knows what´s going on in the Church forget Mark (sorry if I sound blunt). I suggest this great video by Liz Yore instead:
