I think he left the sspx...but I really don't know how or much about him. I think he felt caught in the middle....I'm feeling like that too.

I was just reading quickly there about him he seems quite controversial, he was excommunicated and Pope Benedict lifted it in 2009, he denies the number of Jews killed by the Nazis, he was expelled from the sspx and he has a lot more going on too. I read this on Wikipedia.

Alice Von Hildebrand Sheds New Light on Fatima

Introductory commentary by Fr. Brian W. Harrison, O.S. I

Cardinal Luigi Ciappi (1909-1996), personal theological adviser to five popes, made a stunning disclosure about that part of the Fatima secret that the Vatican has never released (and which is evidently referenced by the enigmatic word “etc.” in the published part of Our Lady’s message). His Eminence, one of the few persons who had seen the complete secret, wrote in a 1995 letter to Professor Baumgartner of Salzburg: “In the Third Secret it is predicted, among other things, that the great apostasy in the Church will begin at the top.

Such a shocking prophecy would explain why Sister Lucy herself confessed to being traumatized by it, why Pope John XXIII decided not to publish it on schedule in 1960, and why Cardinal Alfredo Ottaviani of the Holy Office, in answer to a reporter’s question, stated acidly that the Third Secret had been relegated “to the bottom of the Vatican archives – and that’s where it deserves to stay!” (A priest who as a young man was living in Rome in 1960 has told me he distinctly recalls reading these words of the cardinal in a newspaper report.) As the Church’s top doctrinal watchdog, Ottaviani might well have judged that such an appalling message might unsettle the faith of many Catholics in the See of Peter, the ‘Rock’ on whom Christ built his Church.

It's uncanny to hear what he says about Vatican 11. That's what people are saying about AL now - that it is deliberately unclear to permit errors in pastoral practice without taking responsibility.

I read through some of this, Dolours, and I was struck by oddities in the two letters that ostensibly are proof of Martin's affair with Susan Kaiser. Both are rife with typing errors (skipped letters probably as a result of a bad ribbon) which might be understandable in the personal letter from the priest to Robert Kaiser but not so much in the official letter from the priest to the archbishop advocating for the annulment of the Kaiser s' marriages. The writers of both letters are very disparaging to Mrs. Kaiser and complimentary to Mr. Kaiser. Neither ring true, imo. I actually got the sense That Kaiser, himself, had written both letters. Also the writer of the blog seems to have some personal animus towards Martin and what he refers to as Martin's cult followers.

Well before you do, do you anything about Fr Kramer he was a good friend of Fr Gruner seemingly the information came from Fri Kramer to Bishop Williamson.

If true, this is horrible beyond belief.

...I find it so confusing, in terms of what to believe. You hear that, indeed, the third secret of Fatima was released in full, then you hear it was not. It's so difficult to decipher what is true and what isn't. And now I see these posts above, suggesting that it was asked that Russia be consecrated, and it was refused. Again, I checked with some sources who said, indeed, Russia was already consecrated. But then, I read plenty which says it wasn't. I hope and pray God understands that for many of us, our heads are spinning. I also often read that many will be led astray. Again, I hope God has some understanding that it's not always clear what the heck we are supposed to believe.

I'm not sure, Cathy, because it's hard to believe that someone would post a forgery on the internet. Some of the other stuff is also hard to dismiss. It gives me the creeps to think that he took money from that Bri'n'whatever crowd because I have seen them referred to as a Jewish branch of the Masons.

None of that means that he wasn't telling the truth about the third secret of Fatima, but I will don my super sceptic's filters when listening to any more of his interviews.

Shocking.......these guys in the Vatican think the are greater than Our Lady.
If this is true it says to me these guys do not believe in God as for any man that does surely would not take his Blessed Mother on like this.......they don't believe they really don't.

Mark, all you have to do is pray, God knows you and HE WILL guide you through this. My advice stick with the original teachings of the Church. I myself was like you and even though I still get confused I really pray hard for direction and it has really helped me. As long as we pray the rosary we can leave the rest to Our Lady she will be the one who will be crushing heads in the end, she says so herself she will Triumph.

Edited....The third secret is mostly known but there is still more to it. Russia was not consecrated to the Immaculate Heart alone which is what Our Lady asked for. Instead the world was consecrated to include Russia this is not what Our Lady requested.

I'm not convinced by that. The consecration of Russia request at Fatima has always been a sore point with the Russians, and not just the Communists but also with the Russian Orthodox who believe that the Catholics are heretics. Note that Putin is not actually quoted as requesting the Consecration. He asked about Fatima, which could mean that Putin was intending to get the Pope to make some kind of apology for any offence to the Russians. There's no way Putin would jeopardise his relationship with the Russian Orthodox Church by requesting the Pope to do something that the Orthodox would regard as insulting.

I would be curious to know when this blog was written and I'm sure we would have heard something on here previously relating to one of those stories. I'm also sure if all of this was going around when he was alive he surely would have aired it and fought back.

I'm sorry Dolours, but that line made me laugh out loud :)

There are lots of different people on the net. Liars, thieves, unstable people, people with axes to grind, etc.
It doesn't take a license to open a website, just a hundred bucks.

I ran across this info about Fr. Martin a couple of years ago and it concerned me as well. I looked into a lot of it and came to the conclusion that it was much ado about nothing. I have seen some of this refuted in the meantime. There have been many who have wanted to destroy Fr. Martin's reputation so if there was anything substantive to any of these claims they would have been exploited and used widely to discredit him. This was never done by any of his serious detractors in the 30 plus years that he was a "loose cannon". These allegations only appear on fringe sites now and only by people with an axe to grind against him. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
