Medjugorje is interpreted as the place between two hills, a fruitful valley. It could also be viewed as a meeting place, a coming together between Christians and Muslims as Bosnia and Herzegovina is tradionally recognised as the line between East and West. WHAT WOUD HOLY MOTHER TELL US ABOUT THE REFUGEE CRISIS? THEY ARE HER CHILDREN TOO. WE SOW SEEDS OF CONVERSION By ACTS OF CHARITY AND LOVE. NOT BY STADING ON PODIUMS SHOUTING "WE AREN'T GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE " OR "WE ARE NOT GOING TO HELP OUR FELLOW MAN BECAUSE THEY MIGHT HURT US. " NO!!! WE STAND FIRM ON CHRIST AND HIS ROCK AND WE BECOME PEACE, LOVE, AND CHARITY TO THE LEAST OF THESE. THERE IS NOTHING TO FEAR! ONLY HATRED MUST BE FEARED....BECAUSE IT ERROADS THE SOUL.
HOLY MOTHER DOES NOTHING BY COINCIDENCE ......BUT EVERYTHING SHE DOES HAS MEANING! Medjugorje is interpreted as the place between two hills, a fruitful valley. It could also be viewed as a meeting place, a coming together between Christians and Muslims as Bosnia and Herzegovina is tradionally recognised as the line between East and West.
I randomly just found this message from Our Lady ....... December 2, 2004 Instructions to help non-believers: "Dear children, I need you. I am calling you and seek your help. Reconcile with yourself, with God, and with your neighbors. Then help me. Convert unbelievers. Dry the tears from my eyes." Our neighbors .....SHE SAYS.......who are our neighbors ....but those all around us. Those who DO NOT know the love of Jesus. MUSLIMS do not know HIM and for them to KNOW HIM it must be done by US ALL showing LOVE TO ALL and to be LIVING EXAMPES OF LOVE and MERCY.
An update on Medjugorje from Cardinal Puljic, a member of the Medjugorje commision: Cardinal hints at status change for Medjugorje Cardinal Vinko Puljic, head of the Church in Bosnia Herzegovina, has hinted at possible changes to Medjugorje’s status as a sanctuary and place of pilgrimage. In his Christmas address the Cardinal said Medjugorje is one of the largest confessionals, not only in the Balkans but also in Europe, and should be recognised in some way. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2015 He also spoke about the long-awaited outcome on the status of Medjugorje and said that any decision on the sanctuary, would be just a matter of administrative management and for probably the parish, and would not mean an early decision on the claimed apparitions and messages associated with the phenomenon. “In terms of the visions and messages the Church will continue its study and not go that fast. The Church is not in a hurry,” the Cardinal explained. He added that he was not worried about the attitude of the Holy Father nor of the Congegation for the Doctrine of Faith and that it was important that the people who come to Medjugorje pray to keep the faith, strengthen their faith, and return home comforted. The Sarajevo Archbishop concluded his comments on Medjugorje saying that “until otherwise decided people have the right to come to Medjugorje, to pray and do penance.” Cardinal Puljic was a member of the Commission set up by Pope Benedict XVI to give further study to the Medjugorje phenomenon. It has been expected that an announcement about the outcome of the study would be made before the end of the year. The Cardinal’s mention of administrative changes could be the precursor to an official announcement on this from the Holy See. http://crownofstars.blogspot.co.uk/2015/12/cardinal-hints-at-status-change-at.html
The failure of the Vatican to follow up on the Medjugorje commission's report of 2 or 3 years ago is interesting in itself. The anti-Medjugorje people claim this is because the CDF doesn't want to upset the many Medjugorje believers around the world, My own view on that is that the CDF would be delighted to come out with negative rulings if it could! But the reason for this post is just to quote something I found on a Medjugorje forum that, for me, has a real ring of truth: I have been wondering why the long delay in making some kind of pronouncement on the commission's findings regarding Medjugorje. The dossier has been with the CDF for months now. I am good friends with a woman who grew up near Medjugorje, leads multiple pilgrimages there every year, and is close with the visionaries - especially Mirjana. I was speaking with her yesterday and explaining my confusion as to the delay. She told me that she was visiting EWTN a few weeks ago. There she ran into a good friend of hers who himself is very good friends with Fr. Federico Lombardi, head of the Vatican Press Office. She asked him the same question that I was wondering. He told her that Fr. Lombardi had stated that the commission recommended giving Medjugorje the status of a shrine. The reason nothing has been said is because both Cardinal Mueller and Bishop Peric are very much against this idea. The Holy Father does not want to begin an "In-House" war, so nothing is being done. But, he said that Fr. Lombardi told him, "But the Holy Father will never come against Medjugorje." I know all of this is rumor given second and third hand, but my friend is very trustworthy and honest. It does seem to explain the long delay.
I really don't think it matters so much that the Vatican has not come out with favor or not with the Medjugorje. It seems apparent to me that the messages are soon to stand on their own, as did Fatima and Akita. I surely seems like the season for these messages, if true, to be manifested by Our Lady and Our Lord soon enough. Once the secrets start coming out, it won't take long for them to be credited by the Church and its believers.
