No, this is not true. There have been others who have experienced the interior Passion of Jesus, but several, including Luisa, experienced it both interiorly and exteriorly. Fr. Bucci tells the story of his Aunt Rosaria who took care if Luisa for many years, who saw with her own eyes what Luisa suffered. Of course, there are many who are unknown who have suffered this interior Passion also. Have a blessed Resurrection day.

Hi Border Collie, thanks for your question. I think St. Catherine is one. The Catholic Encyclopedia has this, "St. Catherine of Siena at first had visible stigmata but through humility she asked that they might be made invisible, and her prayer was heard. This was also the case with St. Catherine de' Ricci, a Florentine Dominican of the sixteenth century, and with several other stigmatics. The sufferings may be considered the essential part of visible stigmata; the substance of this grace consists of pity for Christ, participation in His sufferings, sorrows, and for the same end--the expiation of the sins unceasingly committed in the world ... But this trial is far from being the only one which the saints have to endure: "The life of stigmatics," says Dr. Imbert, "is but a long series of sorrows which arise from the Divine malady of the stigmata and end only in death: (op. cit. infra, II, x). It seems historically certain that ecstatics alone bear the stigmata; moreover, they have visions which correspond to their rôle of co-sufferers, beholding from time to time the blood-stained scenes of the Passion." http://www.newadvent.org/cathen/14294b.htm

Did the other mystics also receive the grace of being able to make reparations, thanksgivings etc in union with Jesus and with and for His intentions?

Certainly. You will find very many of them described on Mystics of the Church: Here for e.g. is St. Veronica Giuliani http://www.mysticsofthechurch.com/2015/07/st-veronica-giuliani-extraordinary.html

"One day the devil showed her a vision of hell. “It seems that the tempter showed my soul hell being opened, and that in fact he had placed it (her soul) in it, and that only a small push was needed to cast it inside. It seemed then that I heard screams and voices of lamentation from the damned. I only saw infernal monsters, many serpents, many ferocious animals, and an infernal stench and extremely hot flames, which were so big that their height could not be measured. I could only compare it to the distance between heaven and earth. As far as the size of the place, one could not see the beginning or the end. You could hear many blasphemies and curses against God. How sad. What torment this caused my soul.”

She was shown hell once more: “At that moment I was once again shown hell opened; and it seemed many souls descended there, they were so ugly and black that they struck terror in me. They all dropped down in a rush, one after the other, and once they had entered those chasms there was nothing to be seen but fire and flames.” This vision led Veronica to offer herself as a victim of Divine Justice: “My Lord, I offer myself to stand here as a doorway, so that no one may enter down there and lose You.” Then she stretched out her arms and said, “As long as I stand in this doorway, no one shall enter. O souls, go back! My God, I ask nothing else of You but the salvation of sinners. Send me more pains, more torments, more crosses!”

The Blessed Virgin Mary speaking to Veronica about her trips to hell told her, “When you were going around hell, you came across torments and tormentors at every step; but that time when you went by the seat of Lucifer, you were terrified at seeing so many souls were on the seat of Lucifer himself. This is in the center of hell and is seen by all the damned, by all the devils, and this sight causes all of them great suffering. I also let you know that, in the same way that the sight of God in Paradise constitutes Paradise itself; down there in hell, the sight of Lucifer is what constitutes hell.”

The Blessed Virgin Mary also told her, “Many do not believe that hell exists, and I tell you yourself, who have been there, have understood nothing of what hell is.”

She receives the Crown of Thorns

The first great mystical gift that Jesus gives this victim soul is His Crown of Thorns. This took place on April 4, 1681. This is her account: “I remember that since the beginning when I became a religious, I always asked the Lord to let me experience some suffering from His Passion. A few years later, dressed in this holy habit, a felt this longing during all of lent. When Holy Week started, I felt I don’t know what during prayer and I understood that I should prepare myself because the Lord wanted to make me happy…On Good Friday, I seemed to have a vision…the Lord showed himself to me all wounded and crowned with thorns…I felt the sorrow of sorrows that the Lord felt and at the same time I felt a deep sorrow for my sins and the offenses that I had committed. I was between two points: His infinite Love and my ungratefulness. And it seems that I was telling Him: ‘My Lord, no more ingratitude or sins. Now I want to start to love you…Lord, come to me and give me that crown so that the pricks of the thorns be voices for me to tell you how much I long to love you.’ While I was saying this, it seems that the Lord came closer to me…and I knew that He wanted to grant me the grace that I was asking Him….I was anxious for this suffering when He took the crown from his head and told me something that I don’t remember. He put this crown on my head and I seemed to have felt the thorns pierce through into the inside of my mouth, ears, all my head, my eyes, my temples, and my brain. It was so much suffering; I fell on the ground as if dead. The Lord lifted me up and told me: ‘You will feel these pains as long as you are alive, more or less according to my wish.’ Again, I fell down and the Lord lifted me. I fell for a third time. Oh God! I cannot describe what the Lord communicated to me about His sufferings: I know very well that in a certain way he left an imprint of His Passion in my heart that I have never forgotten.”
Her head was so swollen after this event that they took her to a doctor. She endured many painful treatments without revealing the real cause of the swelling. On another occasion, she had a vision of Jesus on a throne with the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Catherine of Siena. Jesus took the crown of thorns from St. Catherine’s head and replaced it with a crown of precious jewels. Then, he put the crown of thorns that he had taken from St. Catherine on Veronica’s head. She felt great pain and understood that this was the pain St. Catherine had felt when receiving the crown of thorns, a grace Jesus was giving to her."

Has anybody heard of Luisa's body being moved to a side alter in St. Maria Greca yesterday April 23rd, the 154 anniversary of her birth?

    AUGUST 20, 2018
VATICAN HAS JUST GIVEN PERMISSION TO MOVE THE BODY OF LUISA

Vi abbraccio tutte nella Divina Volontà….FIAT (Original)

I hug you all in the divine will…. Fiat (Translation)

Michele Colonna, the president of the Pious Association Luisa Piccarreta LCDW in Corato, Italy has given the good news that the Vatican has just given permission to move the body of Luisa from the side of Santa Maria Greca Church where she has been since July 3,1963 to the front of the Church at the side Altar of the Holy Spirit.

This is a great sign that the Vatican recognizes her heroic sanctity.

Keep on praying for her Beatification

There are many website on the internet on Luisa and the Divine Will, but this is the official website that anyone desiring the knowledge should go to - and a history of Sister Assunta and the Pious Association of Luisa Piccarreta:

    http://en.luisapiccarretaofficial.org/

    History of the Association

The first unit of the Association arose under Sister Assunta Marigliano who, fascinated by the writings of Luisa, settled in Corato in October 1981.

The group received an initial approval on October 16, 1982 by the Arch. Mgr. Giuseppe Carata and on March 4, 1987 the Pious Association Luisa Piccarreta Little Children of the Divine Will was canonically erected, as a private association.

The head office was established at the home of Luisa in Via Luisa Piccarreta 27.

On November 21, 1987 the first floor with the exhibition of objects belonging to Luisa and the opening of her room to visitors was inaugurated and blessed by the Arch. Mgr. Giuseppe Carata. Downstairs, on November 30, 1989 the chapel with the Eucharistic case was inaugurated.

The Arch. Mons. Carmelo Cassati accepted the request of the Association, as the plaintiff, for the beginning of Luisa’s Cause of Beatification. On November 20, 1994 there was the opening of the diocesan Inquiry into the Life, Virtue and Reputation of Sanctity of the Servant of God, with the establishment of the Ecclesiastical Court. On February 2, 1996, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, at the request of the Arch. Mons. Carmelo Cassati, granted the possibility to photograph and photocopy the volumes of the Diary, kept there.

The diocesan inquiry closed on October 29, 2005. This event, preceded by an international conference, ended with a solemn ceremony in the Mother Church during which three boxes with the papers of the Inquiry were sealed.

To seal the event the City Council decided to name the street in which the Association is located (formerly Via Nazario Sauro) to Luisa Piccarreta. On March 7, 2006 the Cause of Beatification and Canonization of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta was opened.

Following the closing of the diocesan Inquiry with decree of April 2, 2006, the Arch. Mgr. Giovanni B. Pichierri invited the Pious Association to set up, under its own responsibility, the secretariat of the Cause of Beatification with the task to link, inform and support.

As to the question of the moving of Luisa's body, this is what I found on the official website:
View attachment 9975 On April 23rd, on the anniversary of the birth of the servant of God Luisa Piccarreta, at 7.30 pm in the Church of Santa Maria Greca, the inauguration of the Restoration of the Blessed Sacrament Chapel will take place. A meritorious work has restored to the original splendor the frescoes of the chapel, the place that, from now on, will keep the mortal remains of the Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta. We are all invited to participate to give thanks and praise to the Lord for this immense gift.

It must be understood that there is a difference between "living in God's Will" and "doing God's Will", so the reparations, thanksgivings, etc. in union with Jesus and with and for His intentions were done in a way that Jesus taught Luisa to do (and us through her writings). There are many, many Saints who Jesus says did His Will perfectly, but there were none up until Luisa who made reparation, etc. as Jesus taught Luisa to do - and us through the 36 volumes of her writings. I know that there are many who do not believe that Luisa was the first to living completely in God's Will, but cannot God do what He wants, with whom He wants, and when He wants? He chose Luisa as the first and this you can learn through the writings. Luisa once asked why He chose her and He told her that He could not find anyone littler than her. If you desire to know more about this Gift God desire to give us, you can go to the website I posted, or buy three books that I highly recommend, "The Sun of My Will" which is a biography of Luisa's life (published by the Vatican Press), "Be Faithful and Attentive", and "The Crown of Sanctity" (a wonderful overview of Luisa and her writings by Daniel O'Connor). For those with a theological background, there is Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi's book (doctoral dissertation), "The Gift of Living in the Divine Will in the Writings of Luisa Piccarreta" (Fr. Joseph translated into English all of Luisa's writings which are cited in his doctoral dissertation).

For those who do not believe in what I have posted, please do not bother with negative comments. Thank you and God bless you.

From theologian Daniel O'connor's book The Crown of Sanctity (can be purchased in Amazon for $10) On the Revelatoins of Jesus to Luisa Piccarreta

Is Luisa and her writings condemned. Were they on the Index of Forbidden Books?
By that logic, we must also have nothing to do with St. Faustina (as well as Divine Mercy Image and the entire corpus of revelations in her diary, St. Joan of Arc, St. Teresa of Avila, the approved apparitions of Our Lady of All Nations, Blaise Pascal, Copernicus, Victor Hugo, St. Athanasius, St. Mary MacKillop and many other saints, valid revelations, edifying works, and factual treatises. Luisa is no longer condemned. The Church's juridical actions are not infallible, and, indeed they often change and in so changing reveal how wrong they were at first. The only voices that count on this question (that is, the Vatican and Luisa's diocese of Trani in Italy) have repeatedly affirmed that the older condemnations are not binding, and, quite the contrary, that they earnestly desire Luisa's writings to be read and Luisa's spirituality to be lived.

Yes Frodo the coordinated effort amazes me too!
Additionally I am shocked by the vehement hostility of the devotees of LITDW that is expressed towards any Catholic who kindly requests the voice of the church be listened to and the faulty translation not be disseminated!
One of the many troubling aspects of the current translations of Lusia writings, is she is afforded a greater sanctity above and beyond the head of the Holy family of Nazareth...St Joseph!
Therefore I believe St Joseph is the answer!

St Joseph was chosen from all men, by God the Blessed Trinity!
Chosen by God the Father to represent Himself on earth!
Chosen by God the Son who knowing all things knew that St Joseph gives the clearest vision of the Heavenly Father!
Chosen by God the Holy Ghost to represent Himself on earth and be the Holy spouse of the Ever Blessed Virgin Mary!

St Joseph is the terror of demons and the protector of Our Lords Holy bride the Catholic church. Let us have recourse to him.

Prayer to St. Joseph, the Protector of the Church

Father, you entrusted your Beloved Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to the care of Saint Joseph.
By the help of his prayers may your Church continue to serve Our Lord Jesus who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, for ever and ever.
    Amen.

Oh strong and gently St Joseph we have recourse to thee, protect the Holy Catholic Church from every wile of the evil one. Amen.
