do you still feel that the US will have a civil war?

 

Not a civil war no..at least not in the sense of the last one...more a falling apart..a complete collapse of the Union into many segments of states and groups of states.

 

I may be jumping to a conclusion here but what about the idea that the USA will be shaken apart with all the devistating natural disasters? I'm curious as to whether the eventual intensity of the disasters will be what shakes us back to the "stone age" and for that reason we are separated. Just looking at the loss of "infrastructure" in the Eastern parts of the US, due to the massive flooding brought that idea to mind when you said that there wasn't looking to be war necessarily but possibly a collapse instead. I'm sure political differences may play into into it as well, but the more disasters you have the more you look to your own needs. I can see how communities would become isolated as they just simply try to survive. Just a thought regarding what is happening now, I'm not a prophet of course but I wonder.

The flooding in the Southern Tier of New York State and down into Pennslyvania caused by the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee was totally unexpected. Almost 20,000 were evacuated from Binghamton, NY, alone. That's 95 miles south of me. There's more truth to your hypothesis than meets the eye, but as Padraig indicates, his icon referenced a political fragmentation.

My brother is in Boston area and they only had .5 inches of rain. That was a couple of really odd storms that hit.

Well- if its policital, I think that process has already begun. This election is going to be rough- I'm not looking forward this next round at all.
It was nice to see all the flags out there today though. If we do fall apart, I will miss Old Glory.

On this point there is another amazing prophecy in the 19th Century that seems to sum up what’s in the Third Secret. I do not suggest it is authoritative, but it fits in with the rest of the picture. There was a book written in French, compiled by a priest in France by the name of Father Fatteccelli or Fatticioli. I have not actually read the text, but have heard it being read on audiotape. The name of the book is Day of Wrath: The Hand of God Upon An Empire. The revelations were made to an Armenian Jew, one Zachary, who was later baptized a Catholic. This book, published in the early 1850s, contains revelations (made to Zachary in the 1840s) concerning the precise dimensions of the communist empire, Russia and China and their satellites. It says that there would be the détente; that an agreement would be reached between the capitalist West and the Marxist East.

Then, says the prophecy, the communists would overcome the West, by firing their missiles — they would fire their missiles — and the word “missiles” was used in the 1840s! They would fire their missiles on the coasts of North America — from the direction of Russia and China — and the Western world would be brought into bondage, after which “the firstborn of hell will rule the world.” Again, I do not say the prophecy is authoritative, but only that it is consistent with the other evidence we have of the great catastrophes foretold in the Third Secret.

And this prophecy of Zachary would explain what Malachi Martin said on the Art Bell Show, as I mentioned before (see "Can you provide an example of this?"). Malachi said then that there was something terribly horrifying in the Third Secret — more horrifying than World War III. And the horrifying thing Malachi Martin referred to was this: after Russia wins the war, there would be the appearance that the devil had defeated Christ.

I too think the political fragmentation is already happening, and has been for a while, I am so ashamed in the way our country has turned against itself on so many levels. This has not been anything sudden, it has been happening steadily since the early 60's. We have already had states turn against the nation because of these divisions...and now those states are burning. It is very devistating the disasters going on here now, and also in other countries. I know we are not alone in this dissoloution. When I think of this topic, I just think we are into it thick already. I think the next elections will make it even worse in the US. We have no respect left for the offices which we once held to be the highest in the land, something for all of our children to model and aspire to. Not long ago, we had respect for those whom we put in front of us, to lead us. Now all we have are insults and mean-spirited attacks for all of them, just as they do for each other. Respect is gone among them, and therefore, we follow their lead and do not respect them, each other, or our values. Then we wonder why the youth doesn't respect us? I honestly do not think it needs to get worse for God to make his move, I think we are there. In fact, I pray all the time that it doesn't get any worse, that God end it now by kicking the world in the moral behind.

 

When I was young I was very bad tempered, back biting mean and bitchy..also because I had a head on me I could really hurt and wound people very deeply with very little thought. Also other young ones around me were doing the exact same thing to each other which made life difficult as you can imagine.

Looking back on it I think the main thing we were doing wrong to cause this was that we were not praying enough for if we had been we would have been loads more tolerant and forgiving of others faults and failings. What might have made us more tolerant would have been an understanding of our own grave sinfulness. Certainly on account of my behavious I could not really have been called a Christian even at a time when I attended mass every day.

I think this is the problem with much politicl discourse, especially on the internet. You can tell by the intolerance the real anger ,rage, intolerance and lack of self knowledge and humility that the folks are simply not praying enough. The Holy Spirit is the lubrication of all human relationships. Without the Holy Spirit countires and peoples simply cannot relate..or to put it another way there is no peace.

It reminds me of trying to run an engine with no oil...if you do so the engine will overheat and blow up. On the surface it looks like the people are seperating between left and right but spiritually that is not the real problem..the real problem is that folks as Our Lady tells us are not praying enough. Were there is no prayer there is no peace.

Have you ever noticed during the mass the liturgy leads us over and over again to pray for peace?

That is why nations, couples and groups of individuals divorce and seperate they have not the lubricant the oil of the Holy Spirit and to get that lubricant we must pray to oil the wheels of how we work together.

I was watching a clip of the old film , 'Young Mr Lincoln ' last night. It seems to me that to encounter any writings or actions of Lincoln is to meet a man who got on his knees and prayed.

Yes, the country is very, very divided along political ideologies and we are still some time away from the presidential election. The baiting on both sides and name calling will only increase. Luckily I have bought some books by the mystic Ven. Ann Catherine Emmerich that along with my praying, will leave little time to watch any political news and get caught up in the hate. I still watch 1 political show to stay informed, but that's about it. I do recommend reading Emmerich's book on the life of the virgin Mary, as it really gives you a lot to ponder during the rosary. In fact, my whole intent in buying a few of her books was to give me more to contemplate on during the rosary, and the books are tremendous for that I must say!!

Interesting you say about Lincoln being a man who prayed. I think everyone back then prayed a whole lot more, since you were so dependent on God for good weather for crops for your food supply and freedom from a king so you can worship as you please. but yes, based on what Lincoln said, he seemed to be a great man of prayer. I have also read how George Washington had a "vision", possibly from the virgin Mary. I stumbled upon this when this thread originated, about a conflict within the US. In the vision, a woman warned Washington of 3 great perils that the US would face as a country with one being the revolutionary war, the second the civil war, and the third (and supposedly the worst) being a conflict yet to come. It could be all urban legand or a hoax, but it's interesting to say the least and I do believe a lot of the US founding fathers were people who prayed and their writings (declaration of independance, constitution, etc.) reflected a belief in God and God's providence. But of course the more you read about this, the more links you'll come across about how it's a hoax or to the other extreme about the role of the US when Christ comes back, etc. :lol: But it is interesting to ponder given the original topic of this thread and how the union will divide but will be united in the end.

Having grown up in the Middle East (now I live in the US), I lived through so much intolerance and hatred. As a child, I became a victim of it due to lack of prayer on everyone's part. Different religions used "God's name" to create hatred, division, wars, etc. They talked about God but did NOT know God. I could not stand it then when I was growing up there.

However, now I see it all over the world. I am shocked to see where the world is today in such a relatively short period of time. You are very right. Most people do not have a prayer life. Without prayer, we cannot connect to God who is the only source of true Love and Peace. Without peace in our hearts, it is impossible to have peace in our own families and the world. We project onto our families and the world exactly what we carry in our hearts. It seems that the world has been on a self-destruct mode, as if the majority of the people are in a spiritual coma. You know what is worst, I tend to think that even if they would have released the real third Fatima secret, very few people would have cared around the world.

Look at all the signs of the times here in the United States and also globally. How many people have truly woken up??? People are still sleeping. I thought after the quakes in Haiti, Chile and then Japan, people would wake up. They kept on sleeping. With all the natural disasters in the US, I thought I would see changes around me. People are still continuing in their sinful decadent lives. I do not watch TV but sometimes I see some stuff on TV when I am visiting people who have their TVs turned on. I cannot believe what is being shown on regular TV nowadays and how people are numb watching pure mortal sin with no awareness or consciousness. The ones of us who are awake have a GREAT responsibility to pray, fast, go to daily Mass, pray the rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and offer up all of our sufferings for our brothers and sisters who are too deep in coma to do these things for themselves. We were truly chosen for these times. It is not an accident we are here today. Heavenly Father, may you Divine Will be accomplished in our lives for the salvation of souls!

 

Wow, this statement really stands out to me. It's a jolt, and reminder that I'm not doing enough. since learning of Medj, a part of me has felt I do have this responsibility and I start praying a lot thinking, not on my watch will my family members end up in hell. But then another thought enters that I don't have the responsibility for other people's souls, as I can barely manage the state of my own soul. But you are right Samia, those of us who are awake, especially if we have been woken up by Medj or Gab, have a responsibility to do this and when God taps me, I don't want to hear that I failed in this responsibility. Thanks for stating what I already knew deep inside but was not acting on as seriously as I should. I'm good at praying for my family members, but need to work on daily mass, fasting, divine mercy chaplet, etc.

 

Yes PotatoSack. We are all truly the Body of Christ. The Body of Christ is not a figuerative thing but a reality. What happens to one, affects all of us. We need to pray for the entire Body. After all, we are ALL brothers and sisters in Heaven, regardless of what "roles" God has assigned us here on earth. At the end, we are ALL one family. We need to LOVE one another back into our Heavenly Father's arms, at all cost.

 

There is a funny thing at work at the minute ,Samia, which reminds me of what you mentioned peopled sleeping.

There is a guy there in his early 50's who is divorced and has started going out with a lady who he has fallen very much in love with. Of course most of the folks at work, Catholics and others are very encouraging to him and speaking of marriage. I am not as I fear for his soul. Its so obvious now that the way Catholics, true Catholics look at things is so ver ,very different from the way of the world. But of course on the other hand I didn't dare say anything or there would have been a riot. This guy, I'll call him, 'Tommy' is the head of the secularists at work and insist there should never be any mention of the Church or anyhing to do with God as it would somehow upset things. (isn't it funny how its lapsed or apostate Catholics who seem to lead the cry that we can't talk of God in public plces? :shock: )

But a couple of weeks back he told me he was away to Spain for a holiday with his lady friend. It was equally obvious to me he was earnestly hoping I would say something against it so he could make a big fuss about it. But my mama didn't raise no fools. :wink: ..and as Jesus said :

Well I didn't want to get rended to pieces so I held my piece and just made a neutral comment. :wink: :lol:

But it struck me that his problem was not really with me; his problem was with his conscience which was deeply troubling him. By shutting me he hoped to shut his poor old conscience up too.Also I think there is a fear. For at the end of the day our poor old guardian angels shout at us reminding us of the three last things, death, judgement and heaven or hell..and at the end of the day we are all of us going to heaven or helll, like it or not.

It seems to me that is why there is such a huge dislike and even hate for the Church at the minute. People want to dream on about things like sexual permissiveness , sexual perversion,greed, injustice, abortion and so on and the one thing they don't want is their dreams disturbed by someone or something rocking the boat.

Now at work I notice, 'Tommy' increaingly becomming angry and bitter towards me. I have never preached at him , i have never even hinted he is doing wrong but he KNOWS, boy does he know :roll: that I have decided thoughts on the whole buisness.

Now it stirkes me that this is the very same reason why the Church in the USA..and the rest of the wrold will come under persection and the sword. It's just Tommy on a bigger scale. Even if we weren't to preach to them they still couldn't stand the fact that by our very lvies we are a living breathing reproach and a reproach that just has to be shut up..and never doubt for a moment that if killing us is what it takes to shut us and the reproach of our way of living up is what it takes..well that's just about what they are going to do.

Whats more my own sense of many of my fellow Catholic at work is that, come the time of testing..and make no mistake it IS coming, will not pass the test. For is they feel unable to go along with the teachings of the Church when persecution is not at the boil how will they bear it when their very lives and jobs and bank accoutns are at risk? It isn't going to happen.

I'll tell you another thing about Tommy that makes me sad, when I look at him I see him surrounded by the saddest sickly kind off white light, very simliar to the hue I have seen around the devil. My own conviction is that if he dies at the present and does not repent he will be going striaght to hell.

..and you know what? I think in his heart of hearts he knows this himself and he knows I know it..and that is the true centre of his rage against me.

For thats the very last thing he wants woken up from his pleasant dream about. :roll:

 

Great observations Padraig. I absolutely agree with you. The reality is that Tommy, like many sleeping Catholics and other Christians of other denominations, do have the Holy Spirit within them. They can try to deny the Truth, block it, or even curse it like many do, but the TRUTH is the TRUTH no matter how much the world lies about it or try to erase it. The Truth lives within us: the Holy Spirit. We can try to kill our conscience as humans but we cannot kill the Holy Spirit. As a missionary for our Lord, I go out and preach all the time, on a weekly basis. I am mostly preaching to Catholics, but many of these Catholics are "sleeping" Catholics. I have to say that I do not sugarcoat the Truth to please anyone. I do talk about sin, bluntly, I do talk about how the 10 commandments have NOT changed since they were given to Moses. I also talk about how in the world we live in today, we are violating each and every commandment and we made some of these outrageous violations as "laws" such as abortion, or acceptable norms such as living together out of wedlock, idolatry, pornography, abandonment of children due all these children born out of wedlock or even within marriages. Adultery is a common thing for both sexes, not to mention homosexual marriages and many other things. I do preach about all these things and let me tell you, you can drop a needle and you can hear it. However, I know that if I do not preach the TRUTH, I will be held accountable before our Lord Jesus later. He already has told me that in prayer. They can't do anything to me that they have not already done to Him. The servant is not greater than His Master.

The positive thing that I see after preaching is that LONG lines form for confession. I do talk a lot about God's Mercy and Love, and not just our sinful condition in the world. So some people DO wake up but not everyone as some people do not want to wake up. They prefer to stay in their darkness instead of choosing the Light. However we cannot give up on them, we need to pray, pray and pray, especially for Tommy and millions like him who justify their sins with lies and more lies. I honestly cannot wait for the illumination of the conscience to happen. Our world needs a reality check. We need to be humbled to our knees and realize that we are nothing but a speck of dust and it is only with God's Grace that we live, we breathe and our heart beats. Pride is killing us. Our spiritual coma is killing us. But things will change very soon...we will have no choice but to wake up. The Lord is going to shake us out of our sleep. It is only a matter of time. May we all be ready and in God’s Grace.
