I suggest that something is even more real when " if many see it" FA. It is that distinction (some call it the scientific or evidential method) which provides a valuable objective tool to help us in separating fact from fiction, private spiritual apparitions from alleged angelic materialisations, not literally interpretting ever metaphorical writing, avoiding Jonestown type "prophets" the burning of witches and other highly subjective medieval practices.

Pijon "spiritual" does not really mean "pure" or holy" (which I think is how you use it above) though colloquially it is sometimes used that way. In our Catholic tradition it is mainly used to refer to the intangible human soul and is opposed to materiality/physicality. Physical bruising is not conclusive of a physically present demon actually being present and other valid scenarios are also perfectly acceptable even by the principles of Catholic theology. Namely, a fallen angel has power to impress the imagination. This does not mean what moderns might understand by that phrase. Such a victim would in fact be dreaming while awake and it is much more than an hallucination. It would be a fully real experience to the victim (I suppose like the holo-deck on StarTrek, or being plugged in to the Matrix if you are into those things). It would seem materially real but is in fact wholly subjective. Noone else would see anything "materialised" because it is in fact in the faculty of imagination only. I have heard of no demonic scenario where a demon can so powerfully oppress the imagination of more than one human at a time - unlike heavenly creatures acting with God's power (eg the Fatima children, Garabandal). Perhaps it is possible. The bruising thing is interesting. I am simply demonstrating an alternative and theologically valid way of looking at these things other than by an uncrticial, literal interpretation of such accounts. Obviously your way of looking at these things has always been more popular.

Yes ,lets focus . Since you have no idea what Mary spoke about at Garabandal, let me enlighten you. REPENTENCE, PENNANCE, CONFESSION, MASS, COMMUNION,THE ROSARY, THE SCAPULAR . Ever heard of these CATHOLIC DEVOTIONS ??? THE ARE THE HEART OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH'S TEACHINGS !
The more erroneous part here is the fact that the Lady told Conchita that these intelligent beings were like men, stained by sins like men, and were redeemed by Christ. So, these cannot be angelic beings. They are indeed ETs with material body and soul. While Christ death on the cross and salvific plan is universal, it was the original sin prompted by the human will (Adam and Eve) against the Divine will that called upon the descent of the "word" to be like us and with us. It would be better that the answer of Our Lady would be put simply as "YES, they DO EXIST" then there's no argument about it. But for Christ to redeem them.. this makes all the apparition in question. However, ALL THAT WERE SAID IN GARABANDAL (w/ the exception of TV interviews) WERE ALL QUOTED AND ANECDOTAL - THESE ARE UNRELIABLE FACTS SUBJECT TO MANIPULOATION. To believe in the messages transmitted as : "she was heard, it was believed, the witnesses said this and that" ARE COMPLETELY REFUTABLE. For sure if the Vatican has read this part about the ET, unanimously the whole GARABANDAL story will be completely condemened!
Your theory has ONE GIANT HOLE in it. If this is all non sense, or hoax, why hasn't the Vatican condemned it ???? Ahhhh, that's the problem with all of you who cant explain why it hasn't . The Vatican interviewed Conchita for nearly 3 hours, and THE POPE , BELIEVED HER & BLESSED HER ! Instead ,they are waiting for the predicted Warning & Miracle BEFORE making a final judgment. Prudent. People can believe what they want, I am sticking with what the three giant saints (St. Pope John Paul the Great, St. Padre Pio and Mother Teresa of Calcutta) of our era believed and followed and that is Garabandal. All the spin in the world will not shake my faith in this great gift from the Mother of God. We won't have long now to see the events of Garabandal taking place.
Glenn, is this not the norm to wait and see? after all future miracles happen/or not? The Pope Blessed them...so this means Papal endorcement? How many people come to the Popes with books and later show the photo op as the Pope supports the book they are selling ....meaningless for those with eyes
