“I thirst for your will, for your affections, for your desires, for your love. A water fresher and sweeter than your soul you could not give Me. O please, do not let Me burn. My thirst is ardent, such that I not only feel my tongue and my throat burn, to the point that I can no longer utter a word, but I also feel my Heart and bowels wither. Have pity on my thirst – have pity!”

These words help me grasp not only the pain Our Lady embraced, but also the consolation she brought to Jesus. Many apparitions have ewncourged us to meditate more frequently on the Passion. I need to do this more frequently, and not only in Lent.

Safe in the Flames of the Sacred Heart!

    Second Word on the Cross:

With your grace You touch his heart, and that thief is completely changed; he recognizes You; he professes You God, and all contrite, says: “Lord, remember me when You are in your Kingdom.” And You do not hesitate to answer: “Today you will be with Me in Paradise”, making of him the first triumph of your love.

But I see that, in your love, You are not stealing the heart of that thief alone, but also that of many who are dying! Ah, You place your Blood, your love, your merits at their disposal, and You use all divine devices and stratagems in order to touch their hearts and steal them all for Yourself. But, also here, your love is hindered! How many rejections, how much lack of trust, how much desperation! And the pain is such that, again, it reduces You to silence!

O my Jesus, I intend to repair for those who despair of the Divine Mercy at the point of death. My sweet Love, inspire trust and unlimited confidence in You for all, especially for those who find themselves in the grips of agony; and by virtue of your word, concede to them light, strength and help, to be able to die in a saintly way, and fly from this earth up to Heaven. O Jesus, enclose all souls – all of them, in your Most Holy Body, in your Blood, in your wounds. And by the merits of this most precious Blood of Yours, do not allow even one soul to be lost! Together with your voice, may your Blood cry out for all, again: “Today you will be with Me in Paradise.”

    Third Word on the Cross

“Woman, behold your son”; and to John: “Behold your Mother.” Your voice descends into Her maternal Heart, and united to the voices of your Blood, it keeps saying: “My Mother, I entrust all of my children to You; feel for them all the love that You feel for Me. May all your maternal cares and tendernesses be for my children. You will save them all for Me.” Your Mama accepts. In the meantime, the pains are so intense that, again, they reduce You to silence.

O my Jesus, I intend to repair for the offenses given to the Most Holy Virgin, for the blasphemies and the ingratitudes of many who do not want to recognize the benefits You have granted by giving Her to us as Mother.

How can we thank You for such a great benefit? O Jesus, we turn to your own source and we offer You your Blood, your wounds, the infinite love of your Heart! O Most Holy Virgin, how moved You are, in hearing the voice of good Jesus, leaving You to us as Mother!

We thank You, O blessed Virgin, and in order to thank You as You deserve, we offer You the very thanksgivings of your Jesus. O sweet Mama, be our Mother, take care of us, and do not allow us to offend You even slightly. Keep us always clasped to Jesus; with your hands bind us – all of us, to Him, that we may not escape Him, ever again. With your own intentions, I intend to repair for all, for the offenses given to your Jesus and to You, my sweet Mama!

The Fifth Word on the Cross
The love that enflames your Heart withers You and burns You completely; and You, unable to contain it, feel the intense torment, not only of the corporal thirst, but of the shedding of all your Blood – and even more, of the ardent thirst for the salvation of our souls. You would want to drink us like water, in order to place us all in safety within Yourself; therefore, gathering your weakened strengths, You cry out: “I thirst”. Ah, You repeat this voice to every heart: “I thirst for your will, for your affections, for your desires, for your love. A water fresher and sweeter than your soul you could not give Me. O please, do not let Me burn. My thirst is ardent, such that I not only feel my tongue and my throat burn, to the point that I can no longer utter a word, but I also feel my Heart and bowels wither. Have pity on my thirst – have pity!” And as though delirious from the great thirst, You abandon Yourself to the Will of the Father.

The Sixth Word on the Cross
"...I see the last tears descend from your eyes, bearers of your nearing death; while You, with difficulty, let another word be heard: “All is consummated.”
O my Jesus, You have now exhausted Yourself completely; You have nothing left – love has reached its end. And I – have I consumed myself completely in your love? What thanksgiving shall I not render to You? What shall my gratitude not be for You? O my Jesus, I intend to repair for all – repair for the lack of correspondence to your love and console You for the offenses You receive from creatures, while You are consuming Yourself with love on the Cross.

    April 20, 1938:
“My good daughter, the pain that most pierced Me on the cross was my ardent thirst. I felt I was burning alive; all the vital humors had gone out through my wounds which, like many mouths, were burning and wanted to quench their ardent thirst; so much so, that unable to contain Myself, I cried out: ‘I thirst!’ This ‘I thirst’ remained and is always in the act of saying: ‘I thirst’. I never stop saying it; with my open wounds, with my parched lips, I am always repeating: ‘I am burning, I thirst! O please, give Me a little drop of your love to give a little refreshment to my ardent thirst.’ So, in everything the creature does, I keep repeating with my mouth opened and burned: ‘Let Me drink, I am burning of thirst.’ My dislocated and wounded Humanity had only one cry: ‘I thirst!’; therefore, as the creature walks, I cry out to her steps with my parched mouth: ‘Give Me your steps, done for love of Me, to quench my thirst.’ If she works, I ask for her works, done only for love of Me, as refreshment for my ardent thirst; if she speaks, I ask for her words; if she thinks, I ask for her thoughts - like many little drops of love to refresh my ardent thirst. It was not just my mouth that was burning, but all of my Most Holy Humanity felt the extreme need of a refreshing bath for the ardent fire of love that burned Me; and since it was for the creatures that I was burning in excruciating pains, only creatures, with their love, could quench my ardent thirst and give a refreshing bath to my Humanity. Now, I left this cry - ‘I thirst!’- inside my Will, and I made the commitment to make creatures hear it in every instant, to move them to compassion for my ardent thirst; to give them my bath of love and receive theirs, be it even just little drops, as refreshment for the thirst that devours Me. But who listens to Me? Who has compassion for Me? Only one who lives in my Will. All the others play deaf, and maybe increase my thirst with their ingratitude, making Me restless and with no hope of refreshment. And not only my ‘I thirst’, but all that I did and said in my Will, is always in the act of saying to my sorrowful Mother: ‘Mother, behold your children’; and I place Her at their side as help and guide, to be loved by Her children. Every instant She feels She is being placed at the side of Her children by Her Son, and - oh! how She loves them as Mother, and gives them Her Maternity, to make Me loved as She loves Me. Not only this, but by giving Her Maternity, She places perfect love among the creatures, so that they may love one another with maternal love, which is sacrificing, unselfish and constant love. But who receives all this good? Only one who lives in Our Fiat feels the Maternity of the Queen.

The Seventh Word on the Cross
“Good-bye Mama, I am leaving, but I will keep You in my Heart. You, take care of my children and yours.” You look at crying Magdalene, faithful John and your very enemies, and with your gazes You say to them: “I forgive you; I give you the kiss of peace.” Nothing escapes your gaze; You take leave of everyone and forgive everyone. Then, You gather all your strengths, and with a loud and thundering voice, You cry out: “Father, into your hands I commend my spirit”. And bowing your head, You breathe your last.

My Jesus, at this cry all nature is shaken and cries over your death – the death of its Creator! The earth trembles strongly; and with its trembling, it seems to be crying and wanting to shake up souls to recognize You as true God. The veil of the Temple is torn, the dead are risen; the sun, which until now had cried over your pains, has withdrawn its light with horror. At this cry, your enemies fall on their knees, and beating their breasts, they say: “Truly He is the Son of God.” And your Mother, petrified and dying, suffers pains harder than death.

The Twenty Third Hour - Jesus is pierced by the thrust of a lance
“My child, after I gave everything, I wanted this lance to open a shelter for all souls inside this Heart of Mine. Opened, It will cry out to all, continuously: Come into Me if you want to be saved. In this Heart you will find sanctity and you will make yourselves saints; you will find relief in afflictions, strength in weakness, peace in doubts, company in abandonments. O souls who love Me, if you really want to love Me, come to dwell in this Heart forever. Here you will find true love in order to love Me, and ardent flames for you to be burned and consumed completely in love. Everything is centered in this Heart: here are the Sacraments, here my Church, here the life of my Church and the life of all souls. In It I also feel the profanations made against my Church, the plots of the enemies, the arrows they send, and my oppressed children – there is no offense which my Heart does not feel. Therefore, my child, may your life be in this Heart – defend Me, repair Me, bring Me everyone into It.”

O Jesus, I want to pray to You with your voice. And just as your voice penetrated into the Heavens and resounded in the voices of all, in the same way, honoring your voice, may my voice penetrate even into Heaven, to give You the love and the glory of your own word.

My Jesus, my heart palpitates, but I am not content if You do not let me palpitate with your Heart; with your heartbeat, I will love as You love. I will give You the love of all creatures, and one will be the cry: ‘Love, Love...!’ O my Jesus, give honor to Yourself, and in everything I do, place the seal of your own power, of your love and of your glory.

Book of Heaven - April 12 A.D. 1928 Analogy between Eden and Calvary
A kingdom cannot be formed with one act alone. Necessity of the death and Resurrection of Our Lord.
I was doing my round in the Divine Fiat, and was accompanying my sweet Jesus in the pains of His Passion and following Him to Calvary. My poor mind paused to think about the harrowing pains of Jesus on the Cross; and He, moving in my interior, told me: “My daughter, Calvary is the new Eden in which mankind was given back what it lost by withdrawing from my Will. Analogy between Calvary and Eden: in Eden man lost grace, on Calvary he acquires it; in Eden, Heaven was closed to him, he lost his happiness and rendered himself the slave of the infernal enemy; here in the new Eden, Heaven is opened to him once again, he reacquires the lost peace and happiness, the devil is chained, and man is freed from his slavery. In Eden, the Sun of the Divine Fiat darkened and withdrew, and it became always nighttime for man – symbolized by the sun which withdrew from the face of the earth during the three hours of my terrible agony on the Cross. Unable to sustain the torment of His Creator - caused by the human will which, with great perfidy, had reduced my Humanity to that state – horrified, the sun withdrew, and as I breathed my last, it reappeared again and continued its course of light. In the same way, the Sun of my Fiat, my pains, my death, called back the new Sun of my Will to reign in the midst of creatures once again.

So, Calvary formed the dawn that called the Sun of my Eternal Will to shine again in the midst of creatures. Dawn means certainty that the sun will come out; in the same way, the dawn which I formed on Calvary assures, even though about two thousand years have passed, that it will call the Sun of my Will to reign once again in the midst of creatures. In Eden, my love was defeated by them; here it triumphs and conquers the creature. In the first Eden man receives the condemnation to death of soul and body; while in the second Eden he is released from his condemnation and the resurrection of the body is reconfirmed through the resurrection of my Humanity. There are many relations between Eden and Calvary, and what man lost there, here he reacquires. In the kingdom of my pains everything is given back, and the honor and the glory of the poor creature is reconfirmed by means of my pains and of my death.

By withdrawing from my Will, man formed the kingdom of his evils, of his weaknesses, passions and miseries; and I wanted to come upon earth, I wanted to suffer greatly, I permitted that my Humanity be lacerated, Its flesh torn to pieces, all full of wounds. And I wanted even to die in order to form, by means of my many pains and of my death, the kingdom opposite to the many evils that the creature had formed for herself. A kingdom cannot be formed with one act alone, but with many upon many acts; and the more the acts, the greater and more glorious the kingdom becomes. Therefore, my death was necessary to my love; with my death I was to give the kiss of life to creatures, and from my many wounds I was to let all goods out, in order to form the kingdom of goods for creatures. So, my wounds are springs which gush with goods, and my death is spring from which life for all gushes forth.

And just as my death was necessary, so was my Resurrection necessary to my love, because by doing his will, man lost the life of my Will, and I wanted to rise again to form not only the resurrection of the body, but the resurrection of the life of my Will in it. Had I not risen again, the creature could not have risen once again in my Fiat; she would have lacked the virtue - the bond of her resurrection in Mine, and therefore my love would have felt incomplete. It would have felt it could do more but was not doing it, and so I would have remained with the hard martyrdom of a love that is not complete. If then ungrateful man does not make use of all I have done, the evil is all his own, but my love possesses and enjoys its full triumph.

    Prayer to the Celestial Queen
for each day of the month of May

Immaculate Queen, my Celestial Mother, I come onto your maternal knees to abandon myself in your arms as your dear child, and to ask of You, with the most ardent sighs, in this month consecrated to You, the greatest of graces: that You admit me to live in the Kingdom of the Divine Will.

Holy Mama, You who are the Queen of this Kingdom, admit me to live in It as your child, that It may no longer be deserted, but populated by your children. Therefore, Sovereign Queen, I entrust myself to You, that You may lead my steps in the Kingdom of the Divine Will; and as I cling to your maternal hand, You will lead all my being to live perennial life in the Divine Will. You will be my Mama, and to You, as my Mama, I deliver my will, that You may exchange it with the Divine Will, and so I may be sure I will not go out of Its Kingdom. Therefore I pray You to illumine me in order to make me comprehend what ‘Will of God’ means.

"Now, my child, oh, how I wish you to be present in the act in which my Son rose again. He was all Majesty; His Divinity, united to His soul, unleashed seas of light and of enchanting beauty, such as to fill Heaven and earth; and, as triumpher, making use of His power, He commanded His dead Humanity to receive His soul again, and to rise, triumphant and glorious, to immortal life. What a solemn act! My dear Jesus triumphed over death, saying: “Death, you will no longer be death - but life.”

With this act of triumph, He placed the seal that He was Man and God; and with His Resurrection, He confirmed His doctrine, His miracles, the life of the Sacraments, and the whole life of the Church. Not only this, but He obtained triumph over the human wills, weakened and almost extinguished to true good, to make triumph over them the life of that Divine Will which was to bring to creatures the fullness of sanctity and of all goods. And at the same time, by virtue of His Resurrection, He cast into the bodies the seed of resurrection to everlasting glory. My child, the Resurrection of my Son encloses everything, says everything, confirms everything, and is the most solemn act that He did for love of creatures.

Now, listen to Me, my child; I want to speak to you as the Mama who loves her child very much. I want to tell you what it means to do the Divine Will and to live of It; and my Son and I give you the example. Our life was strewn with pains, with poverty, with humiliations, to the point of seeing my beloved Son dying of pains; but in all this ran the Divine Will. It was the life of our pains, and We felt triumphant and conquerors, to the extent of changing even death into life; so much so, that in seeing the great good, We voluntarily exposed ourselves to suffering because, since the Divine Will was in Us, no one could impose himself on It, or on Us. Suffering was in our power, and We called upon it as nourishment and triumph of Redemption, so as to be able to bring good to the entire world. "

Hello all and Happy Easter! May God's Will reign on Earth and turn each one of us into a little Resurrected Christ!

I'm doing a bit of research on the notion of the Era of Peace and the claim made by some (Emmett O'Regan mainly) that it cannot be reconciled with Catholic doctrine.
(Should I start another section or thread on this forum? I don't know how).
I'm going through Luisa Piccarreta's writings (have just done Volume 20) with a single question in mind: is it possible that Luisa's writings do not imply an Era of Peace? Is it possible, without being blind or dishonest, to accept Luisa's writings as compatible with Catholic doctrine, while also saying that the Era of Peace idea is incompatible with Catholic doctrine? My hunch is that the answer is no, but I am keeping an open mind for the sake of the research.

I am open to any discussion on this matter. I am not here just to try and win an argument or engage in polemics just for the sake of it--I am genuinely interested in the question and want to find out the truth of the matter.

I am going to post quotes from Luisa that at the very least SEEM to imply an Era of Peace (I have added the bold highlights). I wonder how someone like O'Regan would interpret these passages.

    Volume 20, January 28, 1927

<<I was all abandoned in the Supreme Fiat, following Its acts in the Creation, and my sweet Jesus came out from within my interior and told me: “My daughter, look at how beautiful is the order of the heavens. In the same way, when the Kingdom of the Divine Will will have Its dominion on earth in the midst of creatures, also on earth there will be perfect and beautiful order. Then I will have three Kingdoms – one in the Celestial Fatherland, another in the Creation, and the third among creatures – and each one will be the echo of the other, each one the reflection of the other.

Just as all created things, so will all the children of the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat have their place of honor, of decorum and of dominion; and while possessing the order of heaven and, more than celestial spheres, being in perfect harmony among themselves, the abundance of goods which each one will possess will be such and so great, that one will never have need of the other – each one will have within himself the source of the goods of his Creator and of His perennial happiness. Therefore, poverty, unhappiness, needs and evils will be banished from the children of my Will. It would not be decorous for my Will, so immensely rich and happy, to have children who would lack something, and would not enjoy all the opulence of Its goods which arise continuously.

In the same way, if the children of my Will will not abound with everything, one could say that my Will is poor and does not have the Power to make the children of Its Kingdom happy – which will never be. On the contrary, because It will be the image of the Kingdom which my Will has in the Creation, just as the heavens extend everywhere and abound with stars, and the sun abounds with light, the air with birds, the sea with fish, the earth with plants and flowers, in the same way, since the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat echoes the Creation, the children of my Kingdom will be happy and will abound with everything. Therefore, each one will possess the fullness of goods and full happiness in the place in which the Supreme Will has placed him; whatever the condition and the office they will occupy, all will be happy of their destiny. And since the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat will be the perfect echo of the Kingdom which my Will possesses in the Creation, one sun will be seen up high, and another sun down below in the midst of the creatures who will possess this Kingdom. The echo of the heavens will be seen in these fortunate children, which they will populate with stars with their acts. Even more, each one of them will be a heaven and a distinct sun, because wherever my Will is present, It cannot be without heaven and without sun; rather, as It takes possession of each of Its children, It will form Its heaven and Its sun, because it is Its nature that wherever It has Its stable possession, Its sanctity, Its endless light, it is like heaven and sun that It forms and multiplies everywhere.

[T]he Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat will have the echo of the music of the Celestial Fatherland and the echo of the music of Creation. The order, the harmony and their continuous going around their Creator will be such and so great, that each one of their acts, words and steps will be a distinct melody, like many different musical instruments which will receive the breath of the Divine Volition, in such a way that everything they do will be as many distinct musical concerts which will form the joy and the continuous feast of the Kingdom of the Divine Fiat. For your Jesus there will no longer be difference between remaining in the Celestial Fatherland and descending to stay in the midst of creatures in the Kingdom of the Supreme Fiat upon earth. Then Our work of Creation will sing victory and full triumph, and We will have three Kingdoms in one – symbol of the Sacrosanct Trinity, because all Our works carry the mark of the One who created them.” >>

    Questions:
Q1. Is Jesus saying (if only implicitly) that (A) there will be time when all persons living on Earth will be living in the Kingdom of the Divine Will? Or do these statements still allow the possibility that (B) some people will still be one Earth during the "Reign" of the Divine Will, who are not perfectly one with the Divine Will?

Q2. Jesus says that "poverty, unhappiness, needs and evils will be banished from the children of my Will". What does Jesus mean here? Should we understand Him to mean that (A) physical, and psychological sufferings will not be experienced at all by the children of His Will in that time? Or does Jesus mean that (B) just as He and Mary were perfectly happy and abundant with divine life through all of their sufferings, thanks to the Divine Will reigning in them, so too these people in the future will be perfectly happy and abundant with divine life through all of their sufferings, thanks to the Divine Will reigning in them?

Q3. If the answer to Q2. is (A), then this would imply that the answer to Q1. is (A). For if some people are not living in the Divine Will at a certain time, then there will inevitably be conflict and therefore suffering on the Earth. Unless those living the Divine Will are living in some special pocket that protects them from the rest of humanity, which I find unlikely.

I hope to hear from interested people. :)

    Hello Brendan,
I just noticed on your website that you quote Fr. Joseph Iannuzzi. Fr. Joseph is one of the most qualified persons to speak about the Living in the Divine Will and the era of peace, and your questions are mostly answered in his book, "The Gift of Living in the Divine Will in the Writings of Luisa Piccarreta", which I assume you have.

I am surely no "expert" on the Divine Will, but have studied Luisa's writings (and others regarding the New and Divine Holiness) for over 20 years. Jesus has given me a "gift" from the moment I read about Luisa to feeling His Words in my Heart, accepting them and loving them. I have never had any doubts about the writings as I know the Words come from Jesus. Therefore, I will try my best to answer any questions that anyone may have as He wants so much for everyone to have the knowledge of the Gift of living in His Will.
