    MS7,
I don't know anything about the Charismatic Movement or Speaking in Tongues as I'm pretty much stuck in the pre-Vatican II mindset ... & like it that way :)... but I'm guessing that The Lord has "constructed" so many Paths of Salvation to Him that we would be amazed at the number! I believe that The Lord is a sore loser when it comes to losing souls to satan!

Let us Pray, Brian K, that The Lord is not so rigid in His beliefs as who is worthy and who is not as you seem to be!

    Oh?

Which part of 'Catholic charismatics starting their own church and encouraging divorced and remarried to attend with no preaching to amend their life is NOT a gift of the Holy Spirit' was I not clear about?

Frankly Brian, I don't give a Damn about what YOU are "clear" about ... and what the other... Oh ... sooooo.... Smug Know-It-Alls ... here are "clear" about. I'm more interested in what I believe is the mystery of The Divine Mercy and hoping I'm not standing behind a Smug Know-It-All at the Pearly Gates!

    This was not Christian, Denis.

  6. I was part of a charismatic group one time in which one of its members was caught in an adulterous relationship, she knew it was wrong but had a lot of emotional wounds which blurred her vision, she kept going to the meetings regardless of her lifestyle and gradually was healed of the emotional stuff and was able to break off the relationship. This took quite a while, as in years. But today she is a strong faith filled woman with a keen awareness of God's mercy, and an inspiration to many because of her past. God met her where she was at, and led her forward from a destructive lifestyle to one of freedom and joy.
