Let's gather (virtually) for rosaries, special prayers and (for those who can) offer our fasting and Masses for the special intention of the Church in Germany. The apostate German bishops are on the (synodal) path to perdition, dragging the flock with them. According to The Pillar (excerpt posted on SpiritDaily), the vast majority (176 bishops) approved the document, “Blessing ceremonies for couples who love each other,” on March 10, at its second reading. It states that bishops can “officially allow blessing ceremonies in their dioceses for couples who love each other but to whom sacramental marriage is not accessible or who do not see themselves at a point of entering into a sacramental marriage.” The document opposes the 2021 Vatican declaration, which reiterates that “the Church does not have, and cannot have, the power to bless unions of persons of the same sex.” Of course, it means that German bishops are urged to permit same-sex blessings officially in their dioceses. A minority (12 bishops) abstained. Only 14 bishops dissented. May the Lord Jesus Christ, the Good Shepherd, give these brave 'German shepherds' the strength, faith, perseverance, and trust in God to gather the scattered flock across Germany and lead the people to remain faithful to Christ's teachings. May the faithful clergy and faithful remnant be guided, consoled and protected by Mother Mary under her mantle. Let us also pray and offer Masses to prevent this poison from spreading across the Church worldwide. The Church cannot and should never bless sin. Pray for and love the sinner, but for the love of the sinner and to save the sinner's soul, do not tolerate sin. Remember Jesus' words, "Neither do I condemn you. Go and sin no more."
Yes and: 14 Afterwards, Jesus findeth him in the temple, and saith to him: Behold thou art made whole: sin no more, lest some worse thing happen to thee.
The idea of Synodality if I understand Our Holy Father, Pope Francis correctly is this. We ask ourselves deep questions which involves in our answering them a kind of destruction or Crisis of Faith which we hope will resolves itself in a better outcome. It is a bit like a poker hand in which we chance to risk everything in order to win the whole hand. But what does Pope Francis ask us to risk in this poker hand of his? I think several things. That Scripture in not inerrant. That sometimes it is right and sometimes wrong. That we must cherry pick the best and discard the worst. The Teachings of the Church for 2,000 years were sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Finally the Church as it must be destroyed as it is so that something greater and more wonderful may be born. I know this sounds crazy, but I think this is what Pope Francis and many, many , many others like him high up in the Church truly believe . A kind of fantastical Freemasonic dreamscape. But the dream Pope Francis has for the Church happens to be exactly the same dream and vision Satan has for the Church. Exactly the same. But without any Resurrection. That Jesus was a very good man. But kinda outa date. That we believe there is a God. Kinda. But he has left us to it and we have to get on with things.
all this democratic openness in the church that cardinal hollerich wants reminds me of when the soldiers shared Jesus' clothes among themselves and drew lots to see who got his only tunic; local synods where what is the immutable truth of the Church becomes a subject of discussion fomenting divisions in the Mystical Body of Christ.
It is truly, truly Demonic and terrible.## ..and from the very, very highest place in Our Holy Mother the Church , the Vicar of Christ Himself. He who sits on the Throne of St Peter. His big, big revolutionary idea. He beats Martin Luther on this to the very ground. I must not go on about this for fear of my blood pressure. My head might explode and hit the ceiling. Anyway it is all Pope Francis's fault, plain and simple.
I try not to think about Pope Francis too much. In fact the world is a much happier place when I forget about him altogether He will be the death of me. I am a much happier and peaceful person when I forget about him.
I always remember my older brother Ciaran asking me if I was going down to Dublin to see Pope Francis years and years ago when he visited Ireland. I said that, 'The only way I am going to see Pope Francis is with a gun in my hand!'' Was I ever right.
From today's Liturgy of the Hours... The fool does not hear, the slow-witted do not understand. When the wicked sprout up like grass, and the doers of evil are in full bloom, it will come to nothing, for they will perish for ever and ever; but you, Lord, are the Highest eternally. For behold, Lord, your enemies, how your enemies will perish, how wrongdoers will be scattered. You will give me strength as the wild oxen have; I have been anointed with the purest oil. I will look down upon my enemies, and hear the plans of those who plot evil against me. The just will flourish like the palm tree, grow tall like the cedar of Lebanon. They will be planted in the house of the Lord; in the courts of our God they will flourish.
Pope Francis promises all participants, men and women, will vote in Rome synod VATICAN VATICAN NEWS Pope Francis prays at the entrance to the Vatican's Teutonic Cemetery, a medieval cemetery now reserved mainly for German-speaking priests and members of religious orders, during a visit Nov. 2, 2022, the feast of All Souls. In an interview for the 10th anniversary of his pontificate March 13, 2023, the 86-year-old pope said he thinks about death often, but it is a good thing to remember one will not live forever. Learn more Vatican City — March 13, 2023 Share on FacebookShare on TwitterEmail to a friend In interviews focused on the 10th anniversary of his election, Pope Francis insisted it is not his task to make an accounting of what he has or has not accomplished since March 13, 2013. "The Lord will do the appraisal when he sees fit," the pope told the Italian newspaper Il Fatto Quotidiano. However, he said he was certain the criteria for judgment would be from Matthew 25: feeding the hungry, welcoming the stranger, clothing the naked, caring for the sick and visiting prisoners. But he did have three words for what he hopes for the future: "Fraternity, tears, smiles." As Francis marked his anniversary celebrating Mass with cardinals in the chapel of his residence, Vatican News released a short "popecast" that included the pope's three-word response to a question about his dreams for the church, the world and humanity. "We are all brothers and sisters," he explained, and more efforts must be made to live like it. "And to learn not to be afraid to weep and to smile," he said. "When a person knows how to cry and how to smile, he or she has their feet on the ground and their gaze on the horizon of the future." "If a person has forgotten how to cry, something is wrong," Francis said. "And if that person has forgotten how to smile, it's even worse." The 86-year-old pope also asked the Vatican News interviewer, "What's a podcast?" In the handful of interviews Francis granted in connection with his anniversary, several topics kept coming up: the war in Ukraine and wars around the world, women in the church, outreach to LGBTQ Catholics, handling criticism and even whether he thinks about death. He does, he told the Argentinean website Perfil. He said he thinks about death often and "very peacefully" because "it is necessary to remember" that no one lives forever. The Argentinean newspaper La Nacion asked Francis about the importance of the Synod of Bishops on synodality, a process the pope launched in October 2021 and that will culminate with synodal assemblies in 2023 and 2024. In the context of explaining how he has tried to revitalize the synods, which were reinstated by St. Paul VI after the Second Vatican Council, the pope told La Nacion that including more voices is an ongoing process. During the 2019 Synod of Bishops for the Amazon, he said, "the question was asked: Why can't women vote? Are they second-class Christians?" The Vatican's answer always had been that while the input of many was essential to a synod, it was the role of bishops to discern and vote. However, 10 priests -- and occasionally a religious brother -- traditionally were elected by the men's Union of Superiors General of religious orders as full voting members of the synod alongside bishops. In February 2021, Francis named Xavière Missionary Sr. Nathalie Becquart one of the undersecretaries of the synod general secretariat, a post that would make her an automatic voting member of the assembly. So, La Nacion asked the pope if only one woman would have a vote at the next synod assembly. "Everyone who participates in the synod will vote. Those who are guests or observers will not vote," he said, but whoever participates in a synod as a member "has the right to vote. Whether male or female. Everyone, everyone. That word everyone for me is key." On the question of LGBTQ Catholics, Francis insisted to the Perfil interviewer that "everyone is a child of God and each one seeks and finds God by whatever path he or she can." While the pope insisted matrimony can only be between one man and one woman, he also repeated his support for the legal rights guaranteed by civil unions for gay couples and others who share a life. And he said, as he told the Associated Press in January, homosexuality should not be criminalized. As for Catholic teaching that homosexual acts are sinful, like any sexual activity outside of marriage, Francis said he did not think those sins would send a person to hell. "God only sets aside the proud, the rest of us sinners are all in line," he said, and God always is reaching out to save sinners who seek his help. In the interviews with both La Nacion and Perfil, Francis insisted there is a difference between a pastoral outreach to LGBTQ Catholics and accepting "gender ideology," which, he said, "is one of the most dangerous ideological colonizations." "Why is it dangerous? Because it dilutes differences, and the richness of men and women and of all humanity is the tension of differences. It is to grow through the tension of differences," the pope said. A gender theory that sees being male or female as a social construct or choice rather than a fact related to biological identity "is diluting the differences and making the world the same, all blunt, all equal," the pope said. "And that goes against the human vocation." In each of the interviews, he spoke of the horror of war and his concern for the continued fighting in Ukraine. Asked by Vatican News what he would want as a gift for his 10th anniversary, Francis responded: "Peace. We need peace." https://www.ncronline.org/vatican/v...rticipants-men-and-women-will-vote-rome-synod
Jacinta, seer at Fatima: "Jacinta later revealed that according to Our Lady, “The sins which cause most souls to go to hell are the sins of the flesh,” or sins against chastity." Pope Francis: "As for Catholic teaching that homosexual acts are sinful, like any sexual activity outside of marriage, Francis said he did not think those sins would send a person to hell. "God only sets aside the proud, the rest of us sinners are all in line," he said" ...... He does not "think" those sins will send a person to hell. What if he is wrong? How many people could be lost if he is wrong and they follow his "thinking"??? I personally will leave judgement to God himself. But you better believe I will be careful to confess all sins of the flesh!!!
These words, if taken seriously, should scare the h*** out of anyone, because when that happens, and we know it will in His time, I would not want to be in "fisherman's shoes"......be it the head "fisherman", or one of the "lower ranks" that didn't try at least to explain that one does not catch fish when the net is full of gaping holes. Every time I see "participatory and co-responsible church", or something like "everyone gets to vote" my brain says, that way when the end comes, they can say "But but, we were all in it together!!" Well, I will say I am not in this. I leave the "democratic church" to it's adherents, hoping against all hope that those who sincerely believe this is the right way to go have a true epiphany and change their minds before " The Lord does His appraisal". *** Mass, adoration, confession, rosary. For whatever time there is left. Prayers for the Holy Souls, and for the holy priests doing their best. What else can we do? The battle is the Lord's.
So the best place to be is with Our Lady, St. John and St. Mary Magdalene. All the way to The Cross ~ and staying with Our Lady until that glorious "third day". Resurrexit sicut dixit!
