Bless yourself with it and anoint your five senses with it: eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hands, feet, and forehead. Keep on hand a sufficient supply of drinking water and, if possible, food also (but you can live without food for three days.) Kneel down and pray incessantly with outstretched arms, or prostrate on the floor. Make acts of contrition, faith, hope, and charity. Above all say the Rosary and meditate on the Sorrowful mysteries. Some people, especially children, will be taken up to Heaven beforehand to spare them the horror of these days. People caught outdoors will die instantly. As much as I would like to believe these, at least a few of them are clearly hoaxes. The one at the 5 minute mark in the forest in Canada is absolutely the Kraken from clash of the Titans, children noises and all: ] Several others I think are also clearly the tripods from War of the Worlds dubbed repeatedly and maybe the higher tones cut out, that way it would be less recognizable: Also, possibly these...Godzilla 2012 roars: ] ] And the cloverfield monster? Never heard of this one, but you can get his roar free on My Space: ] Or they are distorted recordings of instruments like the Shofar. I agree with many others who commented on the video that if this were really happening it would be all over the news. Sometimes I hear weird noises near our home too, but it is the sound being carried from a highway not too far off...when lots of semi trucks are on it and the wind is right, it sounds very similar to some of the lesser-sounding videos here. The wind can also distort the noises and make them fade and amplify! I am always watching and listening though, but so far, I'm afraid most of these are a conspiracy hoax. Not slamming dutchsinse, he didn't make these - he just put them together, but let's remember to discern and make sure before jumping on stuff like this as well as messages from seers. Too many people are out for a laugh at the expense of those who really care about the future. Let's be careful out there.
Padraig, you have hit on something that has troubled me recently. I think the 3 days of darkness is well established but if you follow the link you posted to the bottom it will offer a link to another site claiming the papacy was hijacked prior to Vatican II and all popes from John XXIII forward are anti-popes. This view is very popular with Catholics in the US who view Vatican II and deviation from the Latin Mass as the root of all present evil in the world. Part of their argument is the prophecies concerning changes in the Mass. I would submit that the prophecies regard a future time when the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist is denied and the Mass is simply replaced with a sacred meal. It pains me to hear believing Catholics denounce Benedict, John Paul II, etc... based on "internet research" and a romantic notion that the culture of death did not exist before Vatican II. Birth control and the planned disintegration of the family was already unfolding and despite the problems with the way Vatican II was interpreted, there is nothing in the official documents themselves which contradict the earlier councils. Apparently Mother Teresa was in on the scam too being such good friends with Blessed John Paul. Apparently Jesus is some kind of chump because he cannot turn bread into His body if the exact Latin phrase by some fallible priest is not used. Sorry for ranting, but I am searching for help in bringing people away from this heresy of calling what is holy evil Matthew 12:32 - And whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven; but whoever speaks against the holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or the age to come.
I agree Daniel. All you have to do is read St. Faustina's diary, or the messages of Lourdes and Fatima, and many other things to know this. WW1 and WW2 and communism all occurred before Vatican II. I always thought that Vatican II was a way to try and combat what was already happening in the world. It just didn't work overall. Some things done by Vatican II are very good, and some may have worsened some of the problems, but certainly it was not the cause of the world today. People are always trying to find a scapegoat for human weakness to Stan, and Vatican II is just another victim. The Devil is everywhere, including the Vatican, and it has always been there. Look at all the midevil stuff that happened, how can anyone say that it all started in the 1960's? My grandmother was almost forced to abort my MOM in the 1930's, at a Catholic Franciscan hospital. Yes, that's right. This is not a new thing. She was not keeping food down and they told her that the baby was killing her, and they would probably both die if she didn't terminate. She had two other kids...same story almost as St. Gianna. But she's not a saint...because she didn't die, and after almost a month in the hospital being fed by IV, suddenly the sickness subsided and the rest of the pregnancy she was fine. How many mothers in the 20's and 30's and 40's listened to their doctors? Most of them, I am guessing. My grandma was stubborn. Her fourth child died 4 days after she was born, so something was going wrong with her ability to carry a child. But she carried them all to term. And she lived to be 91. My mom is now a healthy 80 year old. My point with that story is that these things are not new, they are just more numerous, and MUCH more visible nowadays too. People forget how the media has affected the awareness of all people. Nobody protested when a hospital performed abortions in the 30's. Nobody knew about it, and people couldn't congregate and do the things they do today. How many of our parents had pre-marital sex, how many of them drank and smoked marajuana (my grandma told me how it grew on their farms and the boys would smoke it). Just saying, the Church has been trying to fight and adapt to the changing world. I am glad to see they are going to go back to some of the old traditions, but unfortunately, that too will cause problems. Many are angry at the recent changes, and will rebel and leave if the communion rails come back, or if they are asked to kneel, it just never ends. I wish someone had the answer, but the only one who does is not talking loud enough for people to hear - yet. Maybe some of these noises are authentic, and maybe they will get louder...I hope so. If you have two ears you ought to hear, but we don't. All the rest of the noise is deafening, though, and we listen to that...
It used to be Daniel that the Church used to give Imprimaturs or official seals of approval on all Catholic literature. As far as I remember every diocese had an official censor to approve publications and things like new prayers and accounts of visions. Of course with the internet this is impracticable. But I think for outright heretical material its simle enough to put them to the test of the Catholic Cathechism and Scipture. This get rids of the worst of this stuff. Its true that many Catholic sites oppesed to the new Ordo of the Mass and Vatican 2 use alledged visions as an excuse. But any vision or locition or messages cannot ever be set over Holy Scripture and the Teachings of the Church. When I giave a link it was to the precise thing I referred. I must be more careful, I rush too much.
Padraig, please forgive my little rant. I knew you were only referring to the 3 Days of Darkness material. The Latin Mass/Anti-pope controversy has created a schism in our little home school group so it is a fresh wound to me. You do an admirable job leading us to solid food in the area of Catholic prophecies. MC, that is a remarkable story - thank God for stubborn women like your mother. HaHa...she probably already knows! My grandmother was the stubborn one. My mother, thanks to my grandmother's stubbornness, will celebrate her 80th birthday this year. I am adopted, so I would have been born anyway, but would have not had this wonderful Catholic lady to raise me. Perhaps I would not have been Catholic at all, although my birth-mom went through Catholic Charities so the odds still may have been good. My birth mom herself is not Catholic though. It is so interesting sometimes when you ponder how things turn out. God mystifies me with his plans and the complexities of them. We think we invented the World Wide Web...not so, God did! We are all connected in ways we can't even imagine!

If worthy of discernment, the question becomes: is this prophecy, this part of a "locution," referring to unknown sounds or actual tremors and quakes like what was just experienced in beleaguered Japan (where, we suppose, the radiation might be interpreted as akin to "fire"; there certainly is fear of it)? Strange, unexplained rumblings were heard just two weeks ago along the north-central coast of Florida and have been reported around the world and across the U.S. in recent years: from California to Maryland, from Maine to Michigan. In Fort Wayne, Indiana, WANE-TV had a story headlined "Mysterious boom has returned" a couple years back and quoted a woman who said, "You can't describe it. You think you're in a war." In Baltimore one was accompanied by a flash of unknown light (it apparently was not lightning). Officials often try to explain the sounds as sonic booms, meteorites, or faulty sewer lines (since there are no seismic readings). Are they signs? A scientist at Columbia's Lamont-Doherty Observatory says that one of the great crustal plates is cracking in two just south of the Indian Ocean. What does that portend? We must say, two great tsunamis plus massive quakes in Haiti, Chile, and New Zealand in just a few years should grant us pause. It was mystic Maria Esperanza who once said that the earth's core is "not in balance."
You know, I am confident that strange sounds do occur, I am just skeptical of those ones on YouTube that dutchinsense posted. I am also skeptical of some of the content on that link, Daniel. There's too much doomsday stuff on there for my liking, though some of what it says is based on actual facts. Here's a couple other sources of information... Geomagnetic storms and solar flares can cause more than just auroras: http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2009/21jan_severespaceweather/ I posted before that one evening several years ago, we had an odd auroral display here. Around 1992 or so. It was more like a shower of pixie dust - literally there were what appeared to be little sparkles in the sky - everywhere! While we were outside marveling at it, our outside shed light that hadh't worked in over a year suddenly turned on by iteself (and worked fine afterward!). So, the sunspots are causing some big flares right now, perhaps they are contributing to noise stories. There is controversy about whether there is sound associated with auroras, but if a solar storm can melt copper in a transformer then certainly it can cause, by its affect, sounds. Transformers buzz, electricity buzzes and pops, things explode, at the very least.
