It's that time of year again. Friday, 30th is the feast day of St.Andrew and the first day of the Christmas Novena: https://www.catholiccompany.com/getfed/st-andrews-christmas-novena-november-30/ St. Andrew Christmas Novena (say 15 x daily from 30th November up to and including Christmas Eve) Hail and blessed be the hour and moment in which the Son of God was born Of the most pure Virgin Mary, at midnight, in Bethlehem, in the piercing cold. In that hour vouchsafe, I beseech Thee, O my God, to hear my prayer and grant my desires through the merits of Our Savior Jesus Christ, and of His blessed Mother. Amen.
I love this novena. This is my 3rd year praying it, and I decided a few weeks ago to make myself a little chaplet just to make it easier to keep track. So far my novena intention has not been answered (my husband's conversion) but like the widow persisting in demanding justice of the unjust judge I continue on, holding to hope that in the end the Lord will answer my prayer
I have found that there is a certain timing to answers to prayer. Hang in there! These are relics of St. Andrew at the Cathedral in Amalfi. St. Andrew, pray for us!
