JESUS I am sorry for the amount of times your precious name is and has been used in vain in anger and in slang.. May my offering of my sorry cancel the million times your name has been profound intentialy and by those poor people who know no better... Father forgive them for they no not what they do.. I just had to put that together today.. I get so hurt and angry and cringe when I hear his beautiful name being used in slang.. Sorry Jesus
That's a beautiful prayer and I know exactly what you mean...I too get very upset when I here people use His name in vain. And I feel like I'm not defending him...I freeze. I told a priest in confession once and he told me ti just say "father forgive him her/ for he know not what he does" but I still feel I should say something. I want the courage to speak up.
