So what now, the thief, the liar, and all other sinners would sue too for all the emotional stress (guilty feelings)? I have gay friends who are religious and who definitely knows what's right from wrong but just like any of us, fall at times. Well, some chose to live the way they wanted regardless of their Scriptural knowledge. Who has not sinned anyway?! Sin is sin. Period! I'm a sinner (shame on me ), even saints have sinned however; Jesus is our Savior, we need only have a contrite heart and repent. Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You!
