Fatima, thank you for all these posts. I'm a bit punch-drunk from all the events that are accumulating, yet most of the world seems to be paying no attention or else attributing them to spurious causes such as global warming and even blaming poor ould Trump for it all. The only thing that is going to wake us up is Divine Intervention-the foretold Illumination seems increasingly plausible. Nothing else seems capable of countering the media and academic brainwashing that has infiltrated everywhere. Let us pray for the Reversion of the great body of Christians, the reunification of the Two Lungs of the Church, the Deprotestisation (if that's a word) of the Protestants, the acceptance of Christ by the Jews and the Conversion of Mohammedans.
These feelings I share with you. Recognizing what is going on in the world, from God's eye's, is a gift in these times. It seems to me we need to spend a whole lot more time in prayer and penance at this time and a little less on tracking every detail of all the events going on. Yet, it also seems to me we need to be vigilant in knowing what is going on to read the signs of the times, which our Lord and Blessed Mother have told us to keep watch for. Some very good faithful have left the MOG forum over the past year to enter deeper into prayer. I think soon enough we will all be doing this, as this forum is surely going to end one way or another. But, once it does, we will have educated ourselves enough to know the unfolding events with and outside our Church and this will prompt us to pray and fast all the more. The fasting part will come from the necessity of our world situation and not so elective soon enough. I am with you in that the Warning is the main thing to prepare for from a spiritual view. When everything around us collapses, which seems very close now, the Warning is what will bring the faithful of God into the fulfillment of our Lord's prayer, "that we all be one Father as you and I are one". All believers will be of ONE faith after this event. Then comes our persecution from the world (Matthew 24). I think the main thing now is that we don't get caught up in all the bizarre happenings in our world. Good to keep an eye on the apostasy and signs of the times, but the politics of the world is a joke. Every country in the world is a mess now. Most of our politicians are a disgrace to God and man. Most of our churches are all about social justice and not about orthodoxy in liturgy, prayer, morals and Catholic thought. All part of the signs of the times, but sure to dive deeper into fear and hatred as the loose the world they praise and live to entertain themselves in. Our Lady spoke of the time of diabolical disorientation and we are seeing it unveiled in the Vatican, dioceses and local churches around the globe. Relativism is the mindset of the day. There is no longer absolutes in faith and morals anymore by large contingencies of the people of the world today. Pray, trust and don't worry.

DeGaulle I was just thinking as I read Fatima's post " I think I have apparition/locution fatigue" and then a sudden desire to just go and sit in front of Our Lord and console Him and plead for mercy. When I heard that NK was now threatening a hydrogen bomb....for their possible next move....over the Pacific I was wondering just what kind of huge effect it would have upon the environment and eventually therefore people everywhere. Where are the so called concerned universal environmental groups in any push back? And this makes sense in that the Father's will is said to desire that the Blessed Mother be recognized for these times as being hers because of her never ending intercession for her children. She should then be seen as the one through whom all graces for these times, for the necessary conversions, are coming to the world.
I came across the following chart on Wikipedia a few days ago which compares the number of worldwide earthquakes with a magnitude of 4.0 or greater by year and magnitude. I just compared this year to last year by month, just a rough comparison, and I think that this year number's appear lower than last year. For the record, I still believe that it is very possible that we are entering a new era/age of the church. Mainly I performed this month by month comparison to see if the number of earthquakes in the last quarter of 2016 was much larger than the first three-quarters, so I would get an idea of what the next 3 months would bring, maybe. But what I found with this quick comparison of this year to last year was that there have been a smaller number of earthquakes for almost every month in 2017 in comparison to 2016. What this means, I have no idea. It obviously does not change the fact that 512 people died due to earthquakes this year, may they RIP. I suppose that I felt that I should share this will all of you because of the discussion going on here about earthquakes. With that said, the following chart from the USGS clearly demonstrates that there has been a large increase in the number of earthquakes between magnitudes 6 and 8 in the 21st century in comparison to the 20th century. It is important to note the following about these two Wikipedia pages. On the page listing 20th century earthquakes, only those of magnitude 6 and above are included unless they are notable for some other reason and they have been listed by decade. On the page listing 21st century earthquakes, they list earthquakes of magnitude 7 and above, or which caused fatalities and since there are so many earthquakes of this category since 2000, they list the earthquakes by year. I wondered if this increase could be due to increased methods for detecting earthquakes but I found no data to suggest that this is the case, and even if we only look at the latter half of the 20th century the difference is immense. Maybe the cause for this increase is that we have come to the point in which we have "simply" removed too many non-renewable natural resources from the Earth (?).

For the first time in over ten years, therefore, the Society was forced to celebrate Mass outside of the Shrine grounds (heretofore, for a number of years, SSPX priests had been granted permission to celebrate Mass in various chapels on the grounds of the Shrine). And, for the first time in the entire history of the SSPX’s presence in Ireland, the pilgrimage group was not even permitted to recite the Rosary or pray the Stations of the Cross within the Shrine precincts! As a result, Mass was celebrated in the car-park of an obliging local café, and the Rosary was prayed on the Main Street which runs adjacent to the Shrine. Security was posted at the gates during the rosary procession, ensuring that the group did not enter the Shrine grounds at any time. Just like there was no place in the inn for Christ in Bethlehem, so there was no place for those faithful to the Tradition of the Church at Knock this past Saturday. The Knock Shrine authorities should be ashamed of themselves! Rector, Fr. Richard Gibbons, had no problem allowing an “ecumenical service” last January in the Saint John’s Rest and Care Centre at the Shrine. Neither did he have any problem with the assistance of “Reverend Canon” Derek Swann of the Church of Ireland, the Presbyterian “Reverend” Molly Deatherage and a Muslim representative, Manar Cherbatji, at a 2014 Peace Mass at Knock. He even had his photograph taken with them on the occasion: Knock Rector, Father Richard Gibbons, centre of photograph, sandwiched between his Bishop and the “Reverend” Molly after the “Peace” Mass, 2014. Also in 2014, Father Gibbons was content to conduct a joint ecumenical service in the Knock Shrine Basilica with the Church of Ireland “Bishop” of Tuam, Killala and Achonry, “Dr.” Patrick Cooke in August of that year to celebrate the 190 years of the Royal National Lifeboat Association. On this occasion, as the Irish Catholic reported, Father Gibbons went the extra mile … “Dr.” Cooke led the celebration, while Father Gibbons was his assistant! Conclusion? Father Gibbons cordially invites Anglicans, Presbyterians and Muslims, who do not accept the Church’s infallible teachings on the Blessed Virgin Mary, to participate in, and even lead services on the site where Our Lady appeared. But, he does not allow the Society of Saint Pius X and those faithful who assist at their Masses to even say the Rosary as a group on the same site, despite their obvious love for the Mother of God.
