I sent this video to a friend. He told me that he thought that this was really woo woo and out there, that there is no more danger now than there was in the social upheaval in the US in 1968. That deplorable people are and have always been working overtime.

If someone chooses not to see the spiritual in the things which are happening around us I just don't think that any amount of reasoning will convince them. People today are making a very conscious choice to ignore the real and true meaning in things. Whether it be because they are afraid or because they simply do not have eyes to see these things I do not know. After all the Freemasons are just a club right?

I believe that it's both. They do not have eyes to see and they choose to ignore what the do see so that they can claim deniability. I have felt the call to pray fervently for conversions especially of those who are lukewarm, as they will be the ones most affected by the warning.

I'm glad we're in agreement about removing your comment, Harper. Sure, Padraig can remove mine as well if he deems it as abhorrent. Perhaps you should ask yourself why you are attracting such negative responses. None of us is innocent in this, that much I know. Your posts, admittedly, often make me feel less than charitable which certainly defeats the purpose of this forum. In the interests of greater peace I will be hitting the ignore button on your posts and I suggest you do the same. Now, as is your wont, you can have the last word.

I just noticed that CrewDog's avatar has changed to "Guest" status, if this means that he is no longer a member I just want to say that I will miss him on MOG as many others probably will also.

I wonder though if people will be affected by the warning in the way that people here will be for instance. Simply because people are unable to discern these things they decide that they will not discern at all which is really just ignoring them and continuing to fence sit. It is still making a conscious decision.

For example Hollywood has made movie after movie hyping the overly dramatized movies portraying demonic possession to the point that most people are completely numb now to any kind of spiritual assault at all and do not recognize them when they have them. I asked someone if they ever had thoughts which came from nowhere and were certainly not in keeping with their outlook and personality but were negative and dark. They said sure doesn't everyone? and thought nothing more of it. When I suggested that these are demonic forces they laughed.

Nobody is correcting this kind of thinking and in fact it is reinforced by friends, family, doctors, psychologists and even the church. Just take an anti depressant for the rest of your life and sit out the battle for your soul.

Pro-Life Groups to Cardinal O'Malley: Stop the Betrayals
    Standard News Wire ^ | September 13, 2017 | William Cotter

Posted on 9/13/2017, 11:59:59 AM by ebb tide

A coalition of pro-life organizations, activists, and journalists issued a public statement today calling upon Cardinal Sean O'Malley, the Archbishop of Boston, and the other Catholic bishops of Massachusetts, to stop their betrayals of the pro-life movement.

In its 2004 document "Catholics in Political Life," the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops specifically prohibited Catholic institutions from giving awards, honors or platforms to political figures who support legal abortion. The coalition cited nineteen violations of this in the last three years involving Catholic prelates in the Bay State.

Among the scandals decried by the statement's signatories was Cardinal O'Malley's attendance at the 2017 Profiles in Courage Award ceremony at the Kennedy Library honoring former President Barack Obama, whose administration was sued by the Little Sisters of the Poor over the Obamacare contraceptive mandate.

Another incident criticized was the 2014 presentation by the Missionary Society of Saint James the Apostle – whose president is Cardinal O'Malley – of the Cardinal Cushing Award to Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, a longtime proponent of legal abortion. Walsh, the recipient of the 2016 Men of Choice Award from NARAL Pro-Choice Massachusetts, went on to defend the public funding of Planned Parenthood, name a square in the city's South End after abortionist Kenneth Edelin, and call for Boston to become a sanctuary city for abortions, should Roe v. Wade be overturned.

Along with asking for full episcopal compliance with "Catholics in Political Life," the coalition is also urging the bishops to reverse their recently imposed ban on signature gathering on church property, the timing of which will adversely impact an initiative petition drive seeking to end tax funded abortions in the Commonwealth.

The coalition characterized the bishops' behavior as a series of "repeated, ongoing and worsening scandals and betrayals, which demoralize faithful Catholics, marginalize the pro-life community, and send a message of confusion and contradiction to secular society."

Operation Rescue: Boston President William Cotter stated:

"All we are asking of our prelates is that they uphold their own professed principles and abide by their own stated policies. The disconnect in the Catholic hierarchy between rhetoric and reality on the issue of abortion must come to an end.

"The bishops expose themselves to the reproach of hypocrisy when they urge Catholics to support the right to life, but then give awards and platforms to public officials who work to keep abortion legal, unrestricted and publicly funded.

"No rational person can reasonably be expected to take seriously Catholic opposition to abortion when Catholic bishops and cardinals honor and extol, at public events, even in their own institutions, political figures who are opponents of the right to life, and allies of Planned Parenthood. The bishops need to stop these betrayals."

In the Old Testament we are offered examples (for instance the Egyptians with Moses) were God , 'Blinded' them so they could not see the peril of rejecting God's orders (to set my people free). This continues in the New Testament were Jesus talks in Parables so that seeing the may not see and hearing they may not hear.

God is Master in His own house , He may choose to offer a way out in certain situations and in others He may not. As Jesus said, 'Who has taught you to free the wrath to come?' People on the Mother of God Forum are bright eyed and bushy tailed about prophecy and the Mystical not because they are smarter or better read than anyone else but because God has given them the grace to see rather than the huge majority of mankind to be blind.

One of the first things I noticed on the prayer path was a huge sense of aloneness. Not loneliness, I never felt alone with God but a sense of being on my own. For instance going into Church for mass I was almost without fail the youngest person there by a long shot. Most the congregation were back then I would say 30 or forty years older than me.

I don;t mean to sound harsh or judgemental but in my opinion from what I have seen here in Catholic Ireland by far the greater part of humanity are not walking but, rather, running to hell. That is why they are blind to what is coming down.

There is much, much , much talk of Mercy, none at all of Justice. But Our Lady has exhausted herself in Appairtions all round the world. People have not changed.

I am sorry I don';t mean to be gloomy doomy but as I say I believe the overwhleming majority of mankind is very, very far down the road to hell.

Sigh . I suppose I sound like a sour old crank writing this, but I have to be honest about it.

    CrewD,
Come back. We will miss your announcements and comments. You can't leave when we are entering a crucial period in our time.

There is much to discuss and explain.

We all need to support and pray for each other. I know you have military pals, but you have many here too.

Perhaps you need to develop a more mature sense of proportion and contextualisation. There is never insult in proclaiming the truth.

We have lost one dear member, hopefully only temporarily. It is not just a coincidence that this rare event corresponds with your return. There is enough strife and argument around without generating more.

If you read through the threads here, many of us debate differences of opinion while remaining respectful and amicable. It is not a reason for aggression and provocation to have a difference of opinion. It is sufficient to make one's case with sincerity.

I believe that this one of Satan's main objectives, to saturate us with all things demonic to the point of numbness. And by the numbers of disinterested individuals it seems to be working, thank God we know the end of the story, meanwhile I will keep wearing out my rosary beads.

I would hope that Our Lord will eventually show great mercy on the majority of the people of our time. They have been subjected to a devilish double-whammy. Just at the time that the Church mysteriously abandoned most of her teaching of the Faith, we have become subjected to a storm of propaganda through means that mankind has never known before. It is wall-to-wall; newspapers, radio, television, cinema, modern books, education, internet; forms of communication novel to our time, all spouting the same non-stop satanic message. Most people have not the means nowadays to deal with this and are not receiving any counter-argument. It seems to me the very definition of ignorance. Their ignorance may save them.

The ones who deliberately propagate this poison do not have the excuse of ignorance. On the contrary, they know exactly what they are doing and the demoralising effects of their evil, whatever their nefarious ends. Those who have neglected their duty to oppose this satanism will have questions to answer too. That includes me.
