If they did Malici, why in this Year of Mercy did Papa Francis extend to SSPX to hear Confession ? If sspx was valid/in communion, the Pope would have no need to make this claim. Its only good for the year of Mercy, so any confession by society members before are invalid and will be again after the Feast of Christ the King...

 

That's one reason for the new Mass... my local Priest, learning Latin to say the Tridentine Mass stated at a talk once. The Priest received on behalf of the people, later the communion service for the faithful was connected to the Priests Mass. That's why we have a Gospel reading in Latin and one in Vernacular... the vernacular is the communion service part. Pope Pauls Mass for the People of God is a True Mass of the Faithful. Anti Vati2 forces say its a people worship Mass... The Tridentine Mass was NEW in the 1500s...Jesus never celebrated a Tridentine Mass...

The Mass goes back in all essentials to the 1st century this is the fact attested to be serious historical scholarship. Pope Paul V merely codified and tidied up some accretion and barnacles that had attached to the most august ancient liturgy of the Church over the centuries.

You really should read a bit more. It used to be thought by the likes of you that the Mass of ages was outlawed it never was nor ever could be.
