Whatever the Holy Spirit wanted it to be. Beware of going too far forward too fast. For the greater part the Spiritual life is a Marathon rather than a sprint. Take things slowly. God grants to us all the time on Earth to accomplish His will. The City of God is not built in a day
SC, I know next to nothing about starting Religious Orders but I'm guessing that most new orders were founded by people who "learned the ropes" by joining an established order. St (Mother) Theresa and Fr Groeschel/Mother Angelica of EWTN come easily to mind. Thank you for your Faith and The Holy Spirit is "The Guy" to go to in these matters. Mother Theresa goal was never to start a order. She had the calling to go to the poorest of the poor and see the face of God. Orders are started as the Saint grows in Holiness. It usually doesn't happen before...unless God speaks to you directly. Not sure that's what we are talking about. But if I wanted to start a order...it would be something that I currently have knowledge of. Maybe a internet order that unites people in prayer at certain times. Nothing to complicated. Maybe 4 meetings a year in different regions of the world. I would create a little secret pin to wear that only those that were part of the order knew. I would call it The Silent Order of Gods Prayer. We would be known as prayer warriors. We would be hidden like ninjas but brave like lions. Are ultimate goal would be to pray for the Church and the Return of Our Lord Jesus Christ. Our spirituality would be focused on the faith that God is real. And that "the created one" is real and has no control over us. We would promote prayer as a weapon...to oppose evil and we would be warriors that listen more then speak. Each member would be asked to participate in there community to the best of there ability. Leading by example not by words. So much fun...I just entertained myself for 20 minutes. May Gods Will be Done
