Taken mostly from the German side this footage is truly remarkable for its high quality and for showing just how young so many of these soldiers were. Watching this footage I can understand why Our Lady of Fatima came when she did. She tried to avert this senseless slaughter by the nations once known as "Christendom." These videos should be required viewing for both students and politicians today. So many lessons to be learned:

How true!! God did not spare the Greatest Generation from Chastisement and Justice, which should make us all the more thankful that God has showed the nations Mercy for as long as He has given that our moral decay is arguably much worse than the Greatest Generation.
