Andy, the video clips that Gianna is sharing make no mention of locutions or messages from Heaven. The ones that I have checked are just encouraging is to keep Faith and say nothing about visions. I believe the Bishop was asking Gianna not to share her spiritual experiences, and as far as I know she has been obedient in this respect. I would not expect the Bishop to exert authority over every aspect of her life and work outside of the said Heavenly experiences. Other wise a lot of people on this Forum would be in serious trouble. I am certain the Church does not allow open criticism of the Hierarchy on the internet, this would be utter disobedience if we are to curtail every thing people are allowed to say. Feels more like communism than Christianity, if that happened.
Gianna hasn't lived in the Archdiocese of Baltimore for a while. She still honors the former AB's requests. She continues to receive personal visitations but even our Lady respects that request and I understand does not give public messages. Of course she received an annulment as did her present husband. In fact at the time of their wedding in AZ, the parish in Emmitsburg, St. Joseph's, which had accepted them, went through a rather astonishing experience!! And btw they only met and married under the guidance of the Blessed Mother. Gianna maked a statement long ago that she would never have imagined her life developing in the road that was taken. They even wound up in the Emmitsburg area as well on the request of the Blessed Mother. Our Lady left it up to them and in doing so they both made a great sacrifice in giving up very lucrative and established careers from another part of the country....he a doctor and she a doctor of pharmacology. They continue to put their gifts to service of the poor. That little sham of a commission... was suddenly organized after a couple of messages that disturbed people who complained that our Lady would never speak in such apocalyptic ways (um....Fatima?....Akita?)....conveniently did not include any of the really serious previous studies of all types of Gianna and all of the previous history which was accepted for years by the Baltimore AD, following the findings of the more substantial study done in Arizona. Nor were the testimonies and advice offered by such as Courtney Bartholomew, Fr. Iannuzzi, Fr. Laurentin, and some other recognized true Marian experts permitted. When they tried to bring up a Medjugorje experience within Gianna's history AB Keeler shut them up immediately and told them to never mention Medj again. Since then (Keeler later was in an automobile accident in Rome and received a head injury requiring a need to step down, and the priest with him at the time was killed), some followers of respect have brought all of the facts of those other than objective methods used in forming the commission's a priori decision to rid this question from further discussion to the Vat. dept. in charge and I understand were told b that such documentation deserved a further or another hearing. Meanwhile so much within the messages that were judged to have been just too worrisome to be worth acceptance at the time have taken place. I always find that those PRs which undergo such persecutions based mainly on personal prejudiced opinions seem to be those most reliable to be believed....due to the sacrifice and suffering of the obedient victims of such.

Indeed we just have to wait and see in God's good time, if the Bishop feels it prudent to keep this under wraps. We can only watch and pray all comes out for the best in the end. Can I just say, the second video seems to have some things that came from mdm in the latter part of the clip. I think Gianna and what she had to say stands on its own, and the video made unacceptable with the mdm bit on the end. IMHO
Beautiful sharing, earthtoangels! Gianna has never lived in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. The second investigative commission established to study her mystical experiences was directed by the local ordinary, Cardinal Keeler at the time, because the public visitations from Our Lady came to Gianna during the Thursday evening prayer group at St. Joseph's Church in Emmitsburg which is in the Archdiocese of Baltimore. I can tell you, the Baltimore Archdiocesan commission was filled with injustices, a mistrial, and embarked upon to prove a biased view of private revelation rather than in an effort to seek truth. Having been part of a nine member team of people who went to the Holy See to defend Our Lady of Emmitsburg and seek a new investigative commission, I was able to read all public as well as tall private messages given to this brave and faithful soul, Gianna Talone Sullivan. Knowing how my dear friend has been on the cross, causes me to see her as one of my heroines. (I don't like this apropos word because of the drug connotation, but this particular spelling and characterization is apt.) I have no doubt about Our Lady's appearances to Gianna as I have watched Her many prophecies be fulfilled in real time. At this point, I believe the events now unfolding in the world will be God's instrument of vindicating Gianna. Her current status reminds me of Padre Pio's ordeal and the history of St. Faustina's revelations. In God's Time, all that is hidden will be revealed. He is a brilliant scientist who co-discovered, with additional scientists, the AIDS virus. He makes a strong and wise case for proceeding with this request from Our Mother in Her officially approved apparitions as the Lady of All Nations. But then I guess that would be logical since her testimony of being able to give then President Clinton the message intended for him when he was on the Camp David golf course close to Gianna's home.
Yes I like Professor Courtney, he is someone worht listening too. I am unsure of Gianna's postion with hte Church, just that it sppears very confused. However in fairness it seems a common thread with visionaries and the saints that Satan's hould rise a storm against them. Par for the course. However it would take ages for an outsdier to enter into a Discernment Process on her messages and mission, he output was huge, it would take yonks. . So I am happy to await the verdict of the Church. I do enjoy lisitening to the Professor though, an eminent scientist supporting the mystical!! What a novelty. Especially since he is Irish like myself.
By the way , I am open to contrdiction but one of the greaat Marian Refuges in the East Coast of the USA has been set up at the instigation of Gianna I beleive but the person who told me about it asked me a few years back to keep it hidden (for whatever reason)

Actually, Dear Courtenay was born in 1931 and grew up in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago. He engaged in college studies at then St. Mary's College in Port of Spain from 1942-1950. It was medical school which took him to Ireland in 1954. He was the first Caribbean physician to obtain a medical degree from University College Dublin. I agree that it would take a long while to discern the messages and mission of Gianna. There were private messages I received personally from Our Lady of Emmitsburg (OLOE) concerning personal realities which confirmed, for me, the authenticity of Her visitations to Gianna. Even with that kind of confirmation and having read most public and private messages in addition to knowing fully the errors of the inner workings of the commission, the Church currently says, in effect: No Way. I bow in obedience to the current status, confident God will intervene in His Perfect Timing. At the same time, I keep my promises to Our Lady while waiting in joyful hope. In public messages, Our Lady made it clear She was preparing the community in and around Emmitsburg to be a place of refuge. An extraordinary claim made by Our Mother is that Emmitsburg is the Center of Her Immaculate Heart. I completely believe Her but as is the case with mystical language, this is rich in layers of meaning, a mystery to be contemplated and experienced as events unfold. It is a beautiful time to be alive. Each of us was chosen for these times.
