Elisa, It's obvious that your feelings have been hurt in your interaction with Brian. No one enjoys being in such a situation. When you calm down, consider the Lord's words of direction in Matthew 18 when relations within the Body of Christ go askew. “If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses." It is not proper or best to bring what happened between you two, to all of us publicly, when none of us were witnesses. It doesn't mean we don't care. I would suggest you air your frustrations with a nearby friend who can give you good counsel, take a break from the MOG, and then re-contact Brian. I'll be praying.
But there is more to this Bible verse: "...Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs..." I second Mario's "take a break from the MoG" suggestion. .
Democrats demand Trump testifies about his role in MAGA riot at his Senate impeachment trial next week House impeachment managers asked former President Donald Trump to testify under oath in his impeachment trial next week Lead Impeachment Manager Jamie Raskin sent a letter to Trump 'I write to invite you to provide testimony under oath, either before or during the Senate impeachment trial, concerning your conduct on January 6, 2021' Trial begins on Tuesday in Senate Lindsey Graham, a close Trump ally, said he didn't think testimony would happen 'No, I don't think that would be in anybody's interest,' he said By Emily Goodin, Senior U.S. Political Reporter For Dailymail.com House impeachment managers asked former President Donald Trump to testify under oath in his impeachment trial next week. Lead Impeachment Manager Jamie Raskin sent a letter to Trump, asking he provide testimony under oath, either before or during the Senate impeachment trial, about his conduct on January 6, the day his MAGA supporters stormed the Capitol. The move by House Democrats is a sign they intend to aggressively prosecute the former president. The House managers do not have independent authority to subpoena Trump so they must invite him to make his case. 'In light of your disputing these factual allegations, I write to invite you to provide testimony under oath, either before or during the Senate impeachment trial, concerning your conduct on January 6, 2021. We would propose that you provide your testimony (of course including cross-examination) as early as Monday, February 8, 2021, and not later than Thursday, February 11, 2021. We would be pleased to arrange such testimony at a mutually convenient time and place,' he wrote. 'If you decline this invitation, we reserve any and all rights, including the right to establish at trial that your refusal to testify supports a strong adverse inference regarding your actions (and inaction) on January 6, 2021,' Raskin noted. President Trump's office did not immediately respond to DailyMail.com's request for comment. Raskin requested a response by no later than Friday, February 5, 2021 at 5 pm. The impeachment trial begins Tuesday in the Senate. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham, a close ally of Trump, threatened to bring in the FBI to testify in trial if Democrats bring in witnesses. 'If you open that can of worms, we'll want the FBI to come in and tell us about how people pre-planned this attack and what happened with the security footprint at the Capitol,' Graham said on Fox News. 'You open up Pandora's Box if you call one witness,' he added. Graham speaks to Trump regularly and is the liaison between the former president and Senate Republicans. He told reporters on Capitol Hill Thursday afternoon he last spoke to the former president a few days ago. 'He's in pretty good spirits. Trying to get adjusted to his new life and uh, I think very focused on 2022, trying to help us come back,' Graham said. He said the House managers calling on Trump to testify was 'obviously a political ploy on their part.' He said he didn't think Trump would testify. 'No, I don't think that would be in anybody's interest,' he said. 'Just cause it's just a nightmare for the country to do this, it's just a political showboat move to do this.' House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was asked about Graham's threat at her press conference on Thursday morning and dismissed the question. "Your question is a waste of time," she said. President Trump spoke to a rally the morning of the January 6th insurrection, where he encouraged his supporters to march on Capitol Hill where lawmakers were going to certify Joe Biden's election victory. The pro-Trump crowd stormed the Capitol, interrupted the certification process and caused a riot that left five people dead and a wake of destruction in their path. Trump attorney Bruce Castor revealed the free speech defense Trump plans to use in his trial. He and lawyer David Schoen submitted a legal brief used more formal language to deny the charge of 'incitement of insurrection.' 'It is denied that the 45th President engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the United States,' Trump's lawyers wrote. In their legal brief, Trump's lawyers defended some of the president's most incendiary language, while trying to soften his claims that the election was 'stolen' and 'rigged.' They admit that 'persons unlawfully breached and vandalized the Capitol,' according to the brief. But it calls the phrase 'Seditions acts' brought by Democrats a 'term of art that he denies.' The brief denies that Trump 'incited the crowd to engage in destructive behavior' and denied the phrase 'if you don't fight like hell you're not going to have a country anymore' had 'anything to do with the action at the Capitol as it was clearly about the need to fight for election security in general.' "Counsel, take a break, frustrations". Who do you think you are ? ? ? ? Perhaps you need yourself a good confession. I stop right now this useless and childish discussion. My message was clear. PERIOD.
As you wish, but maybe you should consider she whom your avatar depicts, and ask Our Lady with what words she would respond.
Sorry Elisa I won't let you turn your anger on members of the forum especially Mario. Consider yourself banned..
Sorry if you mistook me Brian I was referring to the times I got things wrong not how you responded to this thread
No, not at all Quis. There are some things worth fighting for, and unfortunately sometimes points have to be made publicly that shouldn’t have to be made among mature Catholics. Protecting MOG from the sinister deceptions of known antiCatholic lunatic bigots happens to be one of them very high on the list. “Period.” (Yes, I’m a know-it-all jerk in the way I defend the Faith at times. Mea culpa. But I’m still going to defend the Faith as best I can.)
Elisa, I don't know if you are still around. But I read Mario's post where he asked you not to air your grievance on the open forum. I honestly wish someone had been so kind and wise and patient with me when I got rattled over someone's comment to me in the past. Mario was kind and charitable and really opened his heart to you so you could stand down from your frustration without wounding your pride. The post I have quoted above is arrogant and insulting and truly disgraceful. None if us are perfect....that includes you. I personally find protestant pastors dodgy, and the ones with so called prophetic words have become more and more boring to me. If those type of videos are posted on the Roman Catholic MOG Forum, I just thing oh! not another one. So please chill out, and I wish you had the grace to apologise to Mario. He was so kind and wise and honest. He deserves better than your rude response in the quoted reply.
The United States Supreme Court has scheduled for February 19, the Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia election cases. This may turn out very interesting, or it might not. But we should pray to Our Lady and ask for Her help.

I must admit I was incredulously laughing over this clip, but it is rather scary and insane! Lord, when they arrest me to take me away, please grant humor and truthfulness in how I respond! Safe Under Mary's Mantle!!
