I want to ask for your prayers. I will be posting less frequently. My pastor, Fr. Francis, is a joyful, holy priest from Ghana in Africa. He will shortly travel home for a well-deserved 6-week vacation, so I will be picking up a number of responsibilities, right in the midst of spring when graveside committals, Confirmation prep, weekly Adoration, etc... are in full swing. Our parish secretary, Linda, is wonderful and does much, including finding priests to sub. They still might be wanting me to preach every Sunday! Approval for Father's vacation came a little out of the blue; never a dull moment! Thank you. MOG's prayer support is marvelous!
Come Holy Spirit fill the hearts of your faithful, enkindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit O Lord and we shall be recreated. And You shall renew the face of the earth. O Lord, You taught the hearts of the faithful by sending the light of Your Holy Spirit. Send now Your Spirit Lord and grant that we may be always truly wise, And ever rejoice in Your consolation. How strange is this. I had been praying a Memorare daily to protect you from covid so you could continue with your ministry. With the Covid scare easing off, I had just dropped you back to the general Rosary intentions when I saw this thread. So, I'll keep the memorare going for another six weeks with an adjusted intention. That parish is fortunate to have you.
