Prayer is simply the lived expression of our love for God. It is a hug, a loving look and embrace. Everything in our Faith springs from it and runs on towards it.

The simple reason why our Faith is dying in the West is that we do not pray and so do not become Holy. I am afraid that after Vatican 2 most put other things top of the list and prayer went right to the bottom. Ecumenism, the Social Gospel, Environmental concerns a million other things went to the top. We forgot that what the Faith is all about is making saints. The Church is a saint making factory.:) We are all called to be saints, every single one of us.

If we pray we will most certainly go to heaven. If we fail to pray we will most certainly go to hell.

Everything that the Church must do is t lead us to the feet of Jesus in prayer. Everything else is just so much dross. We , then are called to be in the world but not off the world. Everything that encourages prayer is good. Everything that discourages it is bad. It is as simple as that.

If we pray everything will turn out just fine.

If we fail to pray everything will end up in fire and destruction. The Church needs to be school of prayer. A factory of saints. It is not a Social Club. It is not a political party. It is not an environmental lobby group.

It is a school of prayer, a family of saints.
    The Mystical Body of Christ.
The reason we fail is that we do not have holiness, we do not have saints.

The reason we do not have saints is that we do not pray.

We need as a Church to get back to prayer.

Not as tenth on a list of priorities. Prayer is the only priority, we need to pray.
