PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH TO KNOW OUR LORD (Note: This prayer was taken from the booklet "Devotions to Saint Joseph" by Brian Moore, S.J., printed and published by the Society of St. Paul) You who daily grew in the knowledge and love of Jesus our Lord in the intimacy of family life at Nazareth, Joseph, teach me by your example to know, love and serve Jesus my Lord ever more clearly, deeply and wholeheartedly, each day of my life. Watch over His growth in me and mine in Him with the same love and care with which you nurtured His growth in Nazareth. He is the Light and Life of the world, the light you cherished, the life you nourished; pray for me that I may never follow any other light but Him, nor ever wish to live by any other life but His.
