Hi friends. I took a bit of a break from work to publish and write this apologetics book about Lord Jesus as it was my passion to do that for many years. https://www.amazon.in/dp/9362528916 It's called: "Why I believe in Lord Jesus Christ: 25 Reasons to be Christian". It covers Resurrection Evidence, Messianic Prophecies, Shroud of Turin, Eucharistic Miracles, Fine Tuning and Design Arguments, Healing Miracles in Jesus' Name etc. I'm happy I wrote it, and was working from home for a while. But now I'm looking for a new job, possibly a remote one, and going through some interviews and writing some exams/tests to hopefully pass it. Pls pray for the success of my endeavors according to God's Will. Thank you and prayers for all of you as well. God Bless.
What a wonderful thing you have accomplished Xavier. Congratulations. I will certainly keep your job request in my prayers. Have a blessed Christmas.
Fantastic! God bless you for all you do to promote the Faith! O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!
Thank you, friends. God bless you, and pls keep praying. Going through a little Depression right now and could use the prayers. Thanks and God Bless.
I'll tell you a story that happened to me yesterday that might cheer you up a little. Ever since I was a child I was very, very fond of reading books on the Lives of the Saints. The Church has always encouraged this down the centuries as a great Spiritual Practice. It was never a chore to me I have always loved doing so . But yesterday I got a wonderful example of how such reading can actually assist in the everyday. For the last few days here things have been very dark and gray, almost as though morning had never broke. In fact yesterday the fog was so bad they had to cancel flights at airports all over the place. Even in the City of London a deep fog came down affecting their transport. I have noticed in the past how this kind of weather affects my mood as indeed I suppose it does everyone. Anyway I was out walking the dog along the grey river when a deep, deep sadness came over me. My angel guardian warned me at once that the demons were taking a hand in things to oppress me but apart from warning me this did not seem to help. I just got sadder and sadder. But right out of the blue I recalled an incident in the life of Saint Cardinal John Henry Newman which brought me great relief and a smile to my face. You may recall that John was a highly respected Anglican clergyman who started a Anglican Monastery called, 'Littlemore' , just outside the city of Birmingham. Well leaving the Anglican Sect just about broke the saints heart and he never really got over it. One day an Anglican clergyman spotted a man staring wistfully at 'Littlemore.' He came closer and saw St John , the tears running down his cheeks like little rivers. This cheered me up considerably. It reminded me that even the saints had their off days and times. That I was not alone but in the very good company of the Saints. Praying for you now. To he Holy Spirit, our dancing, laughing, little love, dove God.
Prayers for you Xavier. Sometimes this time of year can cause some blues. Please keep me in prayer too- going through a similar experience. Peace
Funny, its dark and dreary here today too. Both my grown sons who live with us had nightmares overnight and today I have been in an awful funk again, feeling that oppressive depression coming on and ended up with this nasty cold coming back too. My daughter who lives near had a terrible time with one of her kids this morning as well.. I'm betting the evil ones are nasty this time of year during the Christmas octave.
I prayed for you all at Adoration today. Xavier the book looks beautiful and well needed in this world.
What a song. Thank you, I hadn't realised what a treasure orthodox singing is. In this case, youtube is a treasure trove. I also became dissatisfied just before Christmas. Through my own fault, I had broken off contact with the Kingdom of Heaven. Yesterday it slowly got better, also with the help of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. To be honest, I hadn't included this prayer in my daily prayers until yesterday. From now on I do. And then yesterday evening I heard this wonderful song. Today, the present and the future look better again.
