For anyone concerned about events in the Church and the world at the moment; I advise you to watch this, it will both inspire you and give you light. I only wish that more priests and Bishops might speak as frankly and wisely as this in these very, very dark times.
Some more consolation: yesterday, the Cardinal of England and Wales, ++Vincent Nichols consecrated our nations to Our Lady of Fatima. There were also relics of Jacinta and Francisco for veneration. I wasn't there, but, many friends of mine were and they all report a huge turnout. I'll post some more photos.
I love Westminster Cathedral Bella. Especially the Tomb of St John Fisher. I count it as a result of the Blood of the the English Martyrs that so many English Clergy have stayed true to the True Magisterium of the Church during the present widespread Apostasy. The English, 'Catholic Herald', for instance has been a beacon of light midst the general cowardice and betrayal of the Catholic media alongside the wonderful Raymond Arroyo and EWTN. Bless them all. http://www.catholicherald.co.uk/com...ctrine-we-will-face-anglican-style-divisions/
How beautiful three times beautiful. This reminds me of the link between the Blessed Trinity and Fatima. It is no accident.
Yes, I love Westminster Cathedral too, Padraig. I love the fact that they never got round to finishing it. If you look up at the huge ceiling, it's like a never-ending abyss. When I was a child it used to scare me a little. It always reminds me that we are works in progress, ourselves. I get The Catholic Herald every week. It's the only Catholic press that is faithful. The consecration yesterday is very important. We must believe it will strengthen us in these confusing times. We must allow ourselves to have hope. Our Lady of Fatima's messages were essentially about hope in the midst of apostasy. Your advice to pray the rosary is key.
Today, my pastor preached on Fatima and called us to repent of contraception! Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Mario, what a wonderful pastor and an excellent sermon!!! I would have fainted if I were there, just to hear the holiness and Truth, repenting of contraception. I haven't heard that! We had a pretty good sermon today on the Corporal and Spiritual works of mercy, right out of the catechism, which was a good solid message. "Whatsoever is good and true, think on these things." Philippians 4:8
Yes, my precious wife, Geralyn, was sacristan along with myself this morning. Father Schultz asked her to pray he be given courage because of the inevitable complaints. God bless him for taking a stand. Safe in the Barque of Peter.
