Lately I have been thinking a lot about my soon to be 90 year old grandmother. She has been the most wonderful spiritual influence on me my entire life. She has always had a devout love for Mary and she has never passed a begger and not given them something ever since asking God to cure my mom as a child. She said she would give to any in need if she saw them for the rest of her life and she has kept that promise to my knowledge. Any way I love my grandmother so much but got to thinking about how soon it could be her time to go home. I have been having visions in my head of all her family standing around her as she is preparing to pass on. I got to thinking how nice it would be to have the whole family that wanted to be there to pray the rosary and other prayers for her no matter what they believed because they would know how much it meant to her. With this I knew I would have to lead them on these things so was wondering how I would do it. Yesterday I kept thinking of this and singing grandma's favorite 2 songs in my head all day (Be Not Afraid and Here I am Lord). I went to church this morning early and said the rosary with all the ladies that come daily and after mass I had all these thoughts in my head to put a prayer book together for the dying or recently deceased. As I was creating it I realized that it really could be a devotion of prayers for a group to make for any soul really. So I have spent all day on this instead of working shhhh don't tell. Ha ha. It is Friday after all.

So to make a longer story a bit shorter, I have been creating this devotion to do for someone all day and now I think I am finished with it. Now that it is done I feel like it could be shared with others if they want and they could cut what they wanted or changed it in their own way or whatever you want to do with it. It is a pretty good start to something that could be done for another and that is never bad. I have it in a word doc and I have used a few of the pictures from the site here to put into the booklets where appropriate. I printed it out here on nice ivory paper and it really turned out nice. So if anyone wants it sent to them just send me a private message with your email and I will send it or just email me directley and I will respond. It is 14 pages long and covers the 7 sorrows of Mary, The Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.
