Yes, but where does, 'Concern' end and worry begin? :D:D

Who knows? A parent may be concerned with the Salvation of their children, but is it only concern and not sometimes worry? But perhaps were concern ends and worry begins is the part were prayer, trust and Faith is left out and fretting begins?:)

Yep. I've said a lot of Rosaries in the midst of fret and worry about my children. I grew up in a family of first class worriers. I fight the tendency but it coils like a snake in my heart sometimes. Then I have to repeat Jesus I trust in You. But it feels like words only. But I repeat them.

I believe God has some BIG surprises for his faithful people when the time comes. I have no doubt about it. For our part, we just need to stay the faith.... pray, trust, hope and don't worry. We have been told over and over again in a consensus of Catholic Prophecy, that the key is to stay with Mary, under her mantle and although we will all suffer, Mary will take care of our essential needs and bring us into the ultimate peace in her Immaculate Heart Triumphant.

"Jesus said to them: Because of your unbelief. For, amen I say to you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you shall say to this mountain, Remove from hence hither, and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible to you." [Matthew 17:19]

We must always remember this bible verse. It is all about faith and trust, but worry is its nemesis.

Yes. God is permitting all of us to be tested with increasing intensity. Here on the forum and among those faithful Catholics I know here. I have certainly had a tough six weeks. Really unusual stuff going wrong and lots of spiritual mess ups. I cant wait to go to Confession tomorrow.

Yep. One of my prayers. "Jesus take this little grain of faith I have and toss this (obstacle or whatever) into the sea."

Padraig I am praying for you as well! I know how it feels to worry and then you pray and try not to think about it, but sometimes you just can’t help worrying.

I went to 2:00 Mass at the Divine Mercy Shrine on Thursday and as I was walking out, a kindly elderly woman I had never seen before was going in. She smiled at me and earnestly said, “Pray hope and don’t worry.” I must have had a knitted brow because I was indeed worrying about my family, as usual, so I smiled at her, gave her a thumbs up and a hearty “Amen!”

It is wonderful how we can be angels like this to each other, Brian. Just a sprinkling of kindness. A gentleman, a complete stranger called me by my first name in CHurch beforemass during the week. I am assuming hewatchesthe forum :)

    Another angel.

Praying for you and yours this Christmas and tonight. For miracles upon miracles.

Yes, I will keep Mark and his family in prayer. It seems to me many of those who have provided God's messages and his inspirations have been given a heavy cross of financial collapse and along with it an almost collapse of their, once very active ministry to the Lord. Others that come to mind are James Fifth, with his After the Warning web site, John Martinez and Verne Dagenais. Verne's messages in the book, God Speaks Will You Listen, said he would suffer much financial hardship in the future and he has. I also know, from reading other posts on the MOG forum that there are several members who as well have suffered financial hardships as well. Let us keep all of these and many more in our prayers as God is allowing this take place in the lives of many faithful Catholics at this time. I believe it is a forerunner to all the worlds faithful at some point soon, as the purification continues around the globe.

Prayers, Padraig! At work, I seem to be messing things up constantly, and frankly it's a miracle that I still have the little job that I do. Satan can and does attack us through employers. Don't worry! Everyone clocks out early, and if he's not willing to fire the whole company, he's got no reason to fire you.

This year has been our annus horribilis financially -- we have had car bills every month throughout the year -- our cars are decent enough and shouldn't need constant repair but God allows these things to happen. We have had to cut way back for Christmas not a bad thing in itself mind you. Our oil burner is playing up and we can hardly afford to put too much oil into the tank anyway. My wife and I have started to talk about selling our house and downsizing but that is difficult in itself as you need money to sell etc. Our son gets married in April so agreed to help out and pay the bill for the wine and also we have a bill for our stay in the hotel for 3 nights for 4 of us. So God is going to have to start getting generous and help us out or we will have egg on our face. But we continue to trust because God is generous. Jesus performed his first miracle at the wedding feast of Cana in obedience to His Blessed Mother so I am hoping for a wedding miracle through the intercession of our Lady.

We are at a particular crossroads in our lives - both of us are 55 soon to be 56 -- we are not getting any younger and you never know what is around the corner health-wise. I had a biopsy done on my nose for skin cancer on Thursday but just precautionary (2 stitches and a big plaster - the kids at school were intrigued lol). On the positive our 3 boys have been raised and left home. Getting the boys through school and university was tough financially to so we have wracked up a bit of credit card debt (stupid I know). My wife has always worked part-time as we wanted her to be with the kids. When they were younger she worked nightshift at weekends so that she could be with them during the week so we never need childminders. I have been thinking about the possibility of retiring early from teaching and taking my pension early -- but I would have to find other employment to top up my pension to what I earn today. There are so many possibilities -- it is very hard to know what to do. It is very stressful but we offer this up for our salvation and the salvation of our children.

I am asking our Lady to intervene directly and guide our path.

The financial problems we are facing have actually brought me and my wife closer if that were possible. We usually finish each others sentences.

She mentioned yesterday when she came home from work that we need to go to confessions. I showed her the back of my hand and I had written the word confessions as it had been in my mind to go & I didn't want to forget.

We hugged and laughed and joked that on our wedding day 30 years ago that it was for richer or poorer for better or worse -- And that we certainly got the poorer bit right! :)

Margaret said that we are rich in love and that is the most important thing.

I can see that you're not overly worried about your meeting tomorrow, but I still wanted to share something with you that has helped me in the past.

Somewhere along the way, I read that you can ask your guardian angel to go to the other person's guardian angel and request that they facilitate smooth interactions between both parties at the meeting. It's worked well every time I've tried it!

I'll pray for you as well.
