Will pray for you & offer your wounded heart to the Lord at the Divine Mercy mass today. One thing also came to mind from your post: try praying for deliverance on this one. Sometimes the devil can oppress us in areas of wounds - priests who work in deliverance call these wounding spirits and they take advantage of wounds in someone's past, or perhaps also through unhealthy soul ties. I don't have time right now to find a prayer, but you can try searching for trusted sources like Neil Lozano, Francis Macnutt, Fr Pat Collins or others who work in deliverance ministries. I think someone posted information about Neil Lozano's courses online recently, perhaps that would help to explore the topic.

Robbie, I have been through similar. It took a daily commitment to praying the rosary and weekly adoration to get me through it, and it took a few years, but I came out the other side with much stronger faith. Prayer of abandonment prayed often throughout the day is also helpful: Father, I abandon myself to you, Do with me what you will. Whatever you may do, I thank you. I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only your will be done in me, and in all your creatures. I ask no more than this. Into your hands, O Lord, I commend my spirit. I offer it to you with all the love of my heart, For I love you, Lord, and so I need to give myself to you, To abandon myself into your hands With great love and with boundless confidence For you are my Father. Amen
