I do agree God pursues souls to the last breath but souls have free will to reject God.

God forces no one to love Him.

That God loves everyone is a trite mantra. You can say God loves Hitler, Stalin and serial killers but it doesn't really mean anything.

It really doesn't mean much because love is reciprocal.

He first loved us so that we might love him in return. And the proof of love is how we live our lives in conformity with His will. Christ died for us all the ungodly that we might repent of sin and evil and turn to him.

God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because they persisted in their evil sinful lusts.

God did not cherish those lives - he condemned them to fire and brimstone.

Men can and do choose evil over good. That is why souls go to Hell.

Do you think God agonises in His heaven over souls in hell? No, because that is how humans think but God is Divine.

It's true. getting angry does not help.

    James 1:20

    Hearing and Doing
19My beloved brothers, understand this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger, 20for man’s anger does not bring about the righteousness that God desires. 21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and every expression of evil, and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save your souls.…

On the other hand..and I know this is a paradox, sometimes I think people do not get angry enough.

Padre Pio is an interesting example. He seemed to be angry sometimes, well quite often, but his anger seemed to serve well.

I heard a story the other night about a him. A rich Italian American who visited the monastery gave large amounts of money for the hospital there as donations.

Anyway he went to Confession with the old saint who angrily chased him and told him to get back stateside. So this guy went to another Friar to intercede with Padre Pio, but Padre Pio chased him.

The guy returned home, but after a few months came back made a good confession and returned home with being on very good terms with Padre Pio.

Years later his daughter visited, her father then being dead. The Friar , curious asked what had happened? Her father had had a mistress whom he was reluctant to dump. His spat with Padre Pio finally caused him to do the right thing.

Young St. Margaret Mary, while living a frivolous life of vanity, experienced an apparition from Christ: "My Sovereign Master appeared before me, as He had been in His scourging, all disfigured, overwhelming me with strange reproaches: that it was my vanities which had reduced Him to this state, that I was wasting time so precious of which He would demand from me a rigorous account at the hour of death."

What Jesus wanted from her was her prayers and focus on the saving of souls. It is striking that He appeared wounded by scourging...and that it was caused by her! Just living a life of parties and fun had wounded Him terribly, because He was losing souls while she was distracted.

This gives us much to ponder. A God who suffers from the loss of souls is a God of unfathomable Love. There is NOTHING trite or meaningless about that.

And St. Margaret Mary's mission? To spread devotion to Jesus's Sacred Heart. "Behold this Heart which has so loved men, that it has spared nothing, even to consuming itself to witness its love."--Jesus

No, the love of God for each of His children is no small matter.

Yes, thank God for the love of bold priests who fight for souls! We need more of that!

You know many people try to figure out things according to what they have learned, heard, etc. But sometimes we have to turn to the Saints and Doctors of the church for help. If I can interject an experience that discusses this perplexing problem of Joe Biden etc. and others like him, I would say to listen to St.Therese. She had a great understanding of love and desired to save as many souls as possible. One of the anecdotal stories is how she prayed for a man who was going to be executed . . .she wanted him to be converted. This man was so horrible the people hated him and wanted him executed asap. But St.Therese had other thoughts about this. I will copy the link and you can read about it because it is written much better than I could write it. Keep the Faith! https://newtheologicalmovement.blogspot.com/2010/10/how-st-therese-saved-murderer-and.html

I know of that story where the man kissed the cross at the last moment of his life. Praise God.

I'm not saying Joe Biden cannot convert.

But what I am saying is that he supports evil and pushes an evil agenda. He pretends to be a Catholic but by his bad example leads others to perdition. Biden is like Herod the Great - he follows the wide path that leads to destruction, a path of great eternal darkness.

St Therese also prayed for the conversion of a priest who left the priesthood and he appears not to have converted despite her prayers and sufferings for him.

That is the mystery of redemption - some choose evil over good.

May the prayers of the faithful lead Biden to full heartfelt repentance and a life of mortification.

I think this video was about not voting for Biden. My thoughts were that faithful Catholics would pray for him. I do every day! Prayer is powerful . . .

Yes, it was about the election but also that Biden is not a faithful Catholic.

I don't think I've seen anyone on this forum who thinks Biden is anywhere near a faithful Catholic

If someone is complicit in the deliberate death of a baby via abortion , I don’t condemn them, they condemn themselves. By complicit, I’m referring to the sin of omission in a grievous crime of murder. All clergy need to publicly condemn anyone who advocates for abortion and additionally use tax payers dollars to pay for these murders.

No,I do not judge these evil doers, God will. If any of us is guilty of the same, we condemn ourselves. and yes, we all fall short of Gods mercy. But when you are acting in persona Christi, I believe your accountability before God is much more serious...and you’re a example to His flock. They are to be shepherds to guide us into heaven...including the pro abortion politicians. It’s fraternal correction that Gregory failed to administer.....This is no small, insignificant matter.....babies are being murdered. Yes...Cardinal Gregory needed to publicly condemn his position on this! Why do you think he didn’t?
I really don’t care how “ nice” this guy is on the golf course....nice doesn’t get you into heaven. That’s what the Catholic Church is now...the church of “ nice’. Tell that to those nice little babies.

Actual numbers of positive tests vs. deaths by age group. Ontario, Canada start of pandemic to Feb 16, 2021

These numbers prove to me that everything should be opened back up with special care taken in retirement and nursing homes and people with serious underlying conditions. How many positive people didn't get tested? Especially younger?

    • 37,960 people, 2 deaths (0.005%) are 19 and under
    • 105,525 people, 27 deaths (0.026%) are 20 to 39
    • 83,481 people, 267 deaths (0.32%) are 40 to 59
    • 41,694 people, 1,832 deaths (4.4%) are 60 to 79
    • 19,864 people, 4,600 deaths (23%) are 80 and over
These numbers are from the Ontario Gov’t.

Another way to look at the data, recoveries

0-19 years 99.995% recover from covid without a vaccine

19-39 years 99.974% recover from covid, no vaccine

40-59 years 99.68% recover from covid, no vaccine

60-79 years 96.6% recover from covid, no vaccine

80+ years 77% recover from covid, no vaccine

Fr Goring talks about March 18th & Medjugorje in his latest video. He also recommends watching Fr Calloway's conversion story but the "original one" where his tells his conversion story. Can someone share that video please? He implies there is something particular in the original video of his conversion.
