On the theme of a re-run of Holy Week let's not forget Jesus driving the moneychangers out of the Temple. Pope Francis speaks of having a poor Church for the poor and against careerism in the Church. He also recently remarked that Peter did not have a bank account.
Agreed ... elsewhere on this forum there has already been discussion about the role that plans to reform the Vatican Bank (i.e. sell it off and give the proceeds to the poor) may have played in the death of John Paul I in 1978. There is an ever-increasing amount of evidence pointing to the links between Vatican finances and Italian organized crime/freemasonry since the 1960s, and a number of high-placed individuals who could feel threatened by a Papal shake-up in the Curia. Presumably Pope Francis has now read the 300-page report compiled by the '007 Cardinals' Herranz, De Giorgi and Tomko in the wake of Vatileaks ... so some decisive anti-corruption moves from him are very much on the cards. On the subject of betrayal, it should be remembered that Judas was the apostle in charge of the purse ...
Cleansing starts with the House of God. Before a spring clean everything is turned upside down. As the Church is purified so will the world - I see massive upheavals coming that will prepare the Church and the world for the new springtime.
I have little doubt about the authenticity of Pedro Regis messages after studying them for a few years now. The one message that has been repeated in his messages is to not loose faith. Something is about to take place that many, even the elect, will loose the true Catholic faith. I can only speculate what this might be, but I think it is going to be a papal pronouncement on the nonreception of Euchaist for those who support the moral evils so prevelant in the world today. I feel strongly that it will deal with the Chruch schism.
I may be pushing this too far, but another possibility for a re-run of Holy Week is related to the entry of Jesus in Jerusalem. He was initially hailed by the crowds, the same crowds who later turned against him. If Pope Francis is the Pope that leads the Church into its tribulation, we could make a parallel with the world's initial reaction to his election. Most of the initial media reactions were positive with regards to his humility, simplicity, concern for the poor, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if this honeymoon period ends fairly soon, and those who formerly praised the Pope turn on him and attack him. This could happen if Francis really does try to clean up the "gay lobby" in the Vatican or pushes the denial of communion to those who support abortion, gay marriage, etc.
I don't think that's stretching things too far at all, as Holy Week is 'apocalyptic' in the true sense of the word, i.e. a time that unveils the deepest dynamics of the human heart. Those are the same now as they were 2000 years ago. What is undeniable is that we're living through a moment when many things that have been done behind closed doors will be brought out into the open, which is a prerequisite for purification. Just as Simeon said to Our Lady when he prophesied about Jesus as a sign of contradiction 'so that the thoughts of many hearts will be revealed' (Luke 2:35). Now we're going to see what is beneath the veneer ... which may not be pretty.
Here we go: "Is Pope Francis, who has been almost universally welcomed as a kinder, gentler shepherd of the Roman Catholic Church, a homophobe?" http://www.latimes.com/news/opinion/opinion-la/la-ol-pope-gays-lobby-20130612,0,676135.story
I laughed when I saw this. These people are so predictable. I am more and more realsiing what a gift we have in this Pope. A great gift. As to the Gay Lobby.....I hope he can act. I still have the ability to be shocked and the thought of these people manipulating the Vatican still has the power to shock me.
I laughed too. If you can't beat him, label him. When he was first elected, there was a woman reporter asking very "seriously" if this new, fresh Pope would finally turn around the Church's position on Gay rights. A Vatican official was trying his best to politely tell her..."um, NO... because it is church doctrine"...she kept asking the same questions over and over spun in different ways. It was frustrating, and yet amusing to watch. They just don't get it, and they won't stop trying to pull everyone else into their world of muddy water. Our water is clear...and holy! LOL
With so many Catholic prophecies now pending fullfillment (LaSallette, Fatima, Garabandal, Akita, Medjugorje, Pedro Regis) just to name a few, it makes me wonder what great event will trigger the heart of all these messages. We know that the table has been set (apostasy, uprisings, economic bankruptcy, global weather tribulations, church schisms etc..). Seems to me that the Medjugorje messages being revealed is all that is pending notification. Medjugorje secrets revealed seem to be what will fullfill all the other aforementioned prophecies. When will it be? What will it be? I think Medjugorje will name the events and time frame soon.
Latest from PR (please correct my translation, tgo! Source - www.pedroregis.com): Message 3.835 It's not clear whether the words in brackets 'religious war' are intrinsic to the message or an editorial clarification.
Sorry to sound pessimistic, but what does "tomorrow" mean? I went thru this with Fr Gobbi and the Marian Movement of Priests, "by the great jubilee of the year 2000 there will take place the triumph of the Immaculate Heart of Mary" and when it didn't it was because he/everyone misinterpreted the word "per" in Italian. You gotta be kiddding me!
Calling all Brazilian Portuguese specialists here ...The original reads O amanhã será melhor para os homens e mulheres de fé. That sounds like a pretty general/poetic use of the word 'tomorrow', not a timeline of any sort. Concerning Don Gobbi and the year 2000, I know this has become something of a cause célèbre, but there is definitely a case for saying that even a true prophet can make mistakes sometimes or have a little of his/her own subjectivity creep into their communications (I know that some supporters of Gobbi hold this view without it changing their opinion on the larger picture). A 'wrong prophet' isn't necessarily a 'false prophet' because of a less-than-100% strike rate IMHO.
I think I might have posted these ideas here before, but it seems relevant here too. My opinion is that several factors seemed to lead to many people expecting the culmination of prophetic events to have occurred around 2000 (or 2012 at the latest): Probable incorrect assumption that the 100 years of increased power of Satan (seen in the Pope Leo XIII vision) began exactly when the vision was seen, 1884, and thus would end in 1984. Probable incorrect assumption that the same 100 years began with 1900 and thus would end in 2000. (I've heard many careless authors make that assumption that it was apparently obvious that "the 20th Century" is the 100 years granted to Satan). The ambiguous approach to these prophetic events in the writings of John Paul II during the quarter century he was Pope at that same time these assumptions were under watch: Crossing the Threshold of Hope The Advent of the Third Millenium (many people, may even Fr Gobbi, interpreted this to be the year 2000, especially when coupled with the wrong "100 years" assumptions above). It seems more likley that JPII was speaking on the level of the same church fathers that Mark Mallett quotes about the 4 days (4000 years) before Christ, 2 days (2000 years) of wheat and tares together in the church era, then 7th day rest (1000 years figuratively) as the Third Millenium of the Church. However, this third millenium doesn't start with the year 2000, and it could be as late as 2033, but most likely starts in the middle of the last generation of 40 years (1992 to 2032). Exact middle is right now. Secular fears like Y2K. Pagan fears like Mayan 2012 calendar ideas. Given that the latest the 100 years of increased Satan power probably began was 33 years to the day after the vision on October 13, 1884, which was October 13, 1917 (miracle of the sun at Fatima), I say we should be primed for much prohetic fulfillment between late 2013 (or early 2014) and May or October of 2017.

The date of the canonisation will be late October or early November of this year. Maybe an important milestone to to kick start stuff.....Yes, the sound you hear is me stirring the pot
We're all on the edge of our seats, like kids waiting for the show to begin. I've always been of the opinion that delays are a merciful response to our prayers. Whatever happens, I'm sure it will catch us all unawares, like a woman going into labor. (Sounds crazy, but every woman near the end of pregnancy starts to believe the birth is NEVER going to happen. Labor is always a surprise). That's why it's important to do what we're supposed to do, gather up all the grace available and trust Jesus. His timing is always perfect.
War between brothers (religious war). Could it be referring to a major Sunni / Shiite conflict in the Middle East? Seems like recent events are moving in that direction.
