I posted this video of an interview with Bernardo Kuster (mark that name) previously but I omitted to point out that (among many interesting insights) something of ENORMOUS significance was said in it. At 14:30 it is stated that; One of the Brazilian Bishops who prepared the synod working document, which is one ostensibly dedicated to 'enabling indigenous people to have access to the Sacraments', has stated to a German journalist that he has NEVER baptised one of the indigenous and intends NEVER to do so. Now, how can this bishop be interested in enabling the indigenous to receive the Sacraments when he declines to provide that Sacrament which is the 'gateway' to all the others? Clearly HE IS NOT. This synod is now, even more clearly, a 'con', convened for intentions wholly unrelated to its stated, intended purpose. It is to open a 'chink' in the door to all the 'reforms' so dear to Francis and his friends so that they will 'creep' into the Church in general just as Communion in the hand, female servers, Eucharistic Ministers etc. have done since the Council. Now we are to see married priests, female deacons (and later female priests), etc. etc.
It is essential to make the distinction between opening the doors of The Church to pagans as opposed to opening them to paganism.
To baptise a pagan would be to violate his 'religious freedom' according to the Marxist dialectic that directs many of these frauds. On the bright side, Catholics are learning. Now we know that most of our money donated to 'the missions' over the last few decades has essentially been fraudulently collected. The 'missions' have been grossly misrepresented. It seems most missionaries of the Catholic Church now consider themselves as political activists and some see it as their duty to show pagans how to live better in their own religion (!). It is becoming clear why we are being so outdone by the Pentecostalists in South America-the latter are not too embarrassed or sophisticated to bring Christ.
"..or too sophisticated to bring Christ..." The old movie Field of Dreams has a great iconic line "if you build it they will come" Pentecostals know Jesus and Him crucified. They believe in the power of the Holy Spirit. They have the joy of the Holy Spirit. It is irresistible. Of course people turn to them to know Christ. These faux Catholic missionaries preaching Marxism offer a dry arid pragmatic dystopian world. Who would choose that when shown the real love of Christ.
LOL Synod - “we need to have women priests - we’ve no male ones” Sane Lay Catholic - “have you tried baptizing a few men and seeing if a vocation will follow??“ Synod - “now your just being rigid.”
Some other thoughts of Mark Mallett: ON THOSE IDOLS… https://www.markmallett.com/blog/2019/10/24/on-those-idols/
There's absolutely no doubt that there were idolatrous pagan ceremonies in both the Vatican and the church of Santa Maria in Taspontina. The most frightening outcome is the silence of so many of our shepherds when they can't be unaware of this sacrilege. There's a video on youtube by a Polish TV channel showing the pews at the rear of the church of Santa Maria in Traspontina being re-positions to face the icons in preparation for an indigenous ceremony centred on the wood cardvings while people in the front of the church were praying before the tabernacle. There's a video of another ceremony in Santa Maria in Transpontina where the icons are displayed in front of the sanctuary and everybody in the church is singing what the person who posted the video refers to as the anthem of Liberation Theology. Per Google Translate, here's the English translation of what he wrote: "The anthem of the nefarious Liberation Theology was sung at the Amazon Synod. Yes, the "Our Father of Martyrs", the prayer that Christ Himself taught us, and which Cyrene Kuhn transformed into "our revolutionary father" with militant clichés: "We will not follow the doctrines corrupted by the oppressive power. "[...]" Our Father, revolutionary, partner with the poor, God of the oppressed "[...]" Our Father, the marginalized poor "/" Our Father, the martyrs, the tortured ". This aberration took place at St. Mary's Church in Traspontina, Rome, on October 5, at the same time as there was a profanation with pagan and indigenous rituals, in worship of Pachamama, Mother Earth [1]." I wonder whether there's a translation of that anthem and whether it's actually a distortion of the Our Father. I couldn't find it online. Here's the video. Note the scenes of the rainbow fishing net draped over the altar at the end of the video.
Now that Liberation Theology is about to become part of the Deposit of Faith, I think we should find out as much as we can about it. Here's the transcript of a Firing Line interview from 1985 in which two priests, most notably Fr. Rutler explain some of the problems the then Magisterium of the Church had with it: https://www.cia.gov/library/readingroom/docs/CIA-RDP88-01070R000301560002-3.pdf

Read it. Sound article, but poor Mr Mallett is still struggling with Pope Francis. He keeps quoting orthodox statements by him from early in his pontificate that he has himself contradicted since in word and deed. I think his paragraphs about people in the West being idolators of material goods is somewhat of a category error. While liking a nice car, to take an example for simplicity's sake, might have the possibility of getting one's priorities wrong, it is a very long stretch to call it idolatry. The bowing down before a patchamama is indisputable idolatry while liking your car might just be...liking your car. It is not sinful to enjoy the good things in life in the right way and proportion. We are not puritans. This attitude taken to the extreme leads to Gnosticism. Admittedly, this materialism taken to the opposite extreme could become idolatry, but it would still be an extreme. All bowing down before idols is idolatry, the median and the extremes alike. I think Mallett is in danger of being prone to this Western guilt trope, as if there is something wrong with civilisation and that it is somehow our fault that others have failed to accomplish it. This is the kind of thinking that can lead to defining evangelisation as proselytism. We need to avoid the making of easy, pat comparisons between entirely different things. Priests' sermons are full of this kind of thing, at least in my experience, but it only serves to dilute and confuse meaning and renders language less reliable and accurate. This is not to deny that people can have false, material idols. One's car can become one's god, but it is perfectly possible, indeed the most common thing, to drive one's car and even enjoy it, while being a perfectly good Catholic. This is my opinion, and it's drawn somewhat from the Chesterton view of things.
I think Mark is terrified of what's unfolding even though he has been calling it out for years. He is really clutching at straws. I'm praying for him and his family. It can't be easy. At the moment he is coming across as a dog that has lost his bark.
Blizzard posted the following on the Vatican Has Fallen thread but I am reposting some of it here because I think that it is very good and we should all read the entire article at the link including Mark Mallett. Amazon Synod Poised to Wage Total War on Catholic Faith: Our Resistance Must Be Equally Forceful Professor Roberto de Mattei | July 5, 2019 | https://catholicfamilynews.com/blog...aith-our-resistance-must-be-equally-forceful/ The Synod on the Amazon will lead to a “rupture” in the Catholic Church: “nothing will be as it was before.” These words were spoken on May 2, 2019, by German Bishop Franz-Josef Overbeck, in charge of the organization Adveniat which provides Catholic relief for Latin America. This is a clear confirmation that the revolution which is being prepared is linked to the Instrumentum Laboris (IL), the document released in mid-June which will be the focus of the work of the bishops who gather for the Synod in the Vatican from October 6-27, 2019. No document like this “instrument of work” expresses the “new paradigm” of Pope Francis so clearly, bringing to light many of the theses which were already implicit in his 2015 encyclical Laudato Sì. Heterodox “Liberation Theology” Forms Basis of Working Document The “new paradigm of integral ecology” proposed by the Instrumentum Laboris (n. 56) finds its metaphysical foundation in the indigenous theology of Latin America, a “post-modern” development of so-called “liberation theology” which was condemned by Pope John Paul II in 1985. The Vatican document actually has its theologian of reference in the ex-Franciscan Leonardo Boff, the theologian who has been most coherent in developing liberation theology into indigenous “eco-theology.” Boff, who was born in 1938, became a Franciscan in 1959 after he had joined the most radical wing of liberation theology. He then abandoned his Fransican habit and the priesthood in order to go and live with the Marxist activist Marcia Maria Monteiro de Miranda. In late 2016, he boasted in a German-language interview of having helped Pope Francis write Laudato Sì. The Instrumentum Laboris again takes up, in many passages, Boff’s slogan that is also the title of one of his books, The Cry of the Earth and the Cry of the Poor (Cittadella, Rome 1996). The document affirms that the Church listens to the “cry, of both the people and the earth” (n.18), because in the Amazon “the land is a theological place by which the faith is lived. It is also a unique source of God’s revelation” (n.19). The Amazon is not only a physical place, but “a reality full of life and wisdom” (n. 5), which rises to the level of a conceptual paradigm and calls us to a “pastoral, ecological and synodal” conversion (n. 5). With the same words, Boff explains that the Amazon has “an exemplary universal value,” since it represents the antithesis of the modern, development model “fraught with capital and anti-ecological sins;” it is “the ideal place to experiment [with] a possible alternative, in harmony with the rhythms of that luxuriant nature, by respecting and enhancing the ecological wisdom of the natives who have lived there for centuries.”[1] For Boff, “we need to move from the modern paradigm to the post-modern, global ‘holistic’ paradigm that offers ‘a new dialogue with the universe’ and a new form of dialogue with the totality of beings and their relationships.”[2] Indigenous Society and Beliefs Held Up as the Ideal ... Boff, Teilhard de Chardin, and Pantheism ... Pagan Polytheism Lauded The religious model closest to the ecotheology of liberation, according to Boff, is pagan polytheism, “with its rich pantheon of divinities populating all of the spaces of nature.”[18] Boff accuses Christianity of having “slipped, for reasons that are not always identifiable, into a sorrowful separation between God and nature,” thus depriving nature of its “magic” and “sacramentality.” “However we want to interpret it, we ought to recognize that the pagans had this extraordinary thing: they could see the presence of the gods in all things. In the woods, Pan and Sylvan, in the earth Terra Gais Demetra (Mother Earth) or Ceres, in the sun Apollo and Febo and so forth.”[19] In fact, primitive man, explains Boff, lived in a “mystical union” with nature.[20] He adored as divinity the rocks, the plants, the animals. Witchcraft and shamanism are expressions of this spirituality. “The shaman is one who enters into contact with the cosmic energies, he knows how to control the stream of energy within himself and even only with his presence or through gestures, dances, and rites he makes those energies beneficial for human needs in his search for equilibrium with nature and with himself.”[21] The same polytheist and pantheist spirit characterizes the Instrumentum Laboris, in which we read: “The life of Amazon communities not yet influenced by Western civilization is reflected in the beliefs and rites regarding the actions of spirits, of the many-named divinity acting with and in the territory, with and in relation to nature. This worldview is captured in the ‘mantra’ of Francis: ‘everything is connected’ (LS 16, 91, 117, 138, 240).” (IL, n. 25) According to the Vatican document: “The Creator Spirit which fills the universe (cf. Wisdom 1,7) is the Spirit that for centuries has nurtured the spirituality of these peoples even before the proclaiming of the Gospel and spurs them onto accepting it, from the base of their [own] cultures and traditions” (IL, n. 120). Hence, “It is necessary to grasp what the Spirit of the Lord has taught these peoples throughout the centuries: faith in the God Father-Mother Creator; communion and harmony with the earth; solidarity with one’s companions; striving for ‘good living’; the wisdom of civilizations going back thousands of years that the elderly possess and which influences health, life together, education, cultivation of the land, the living relationship with nature and ‘Mother Earth’, the capacities of resistance and resiliency of women in particular, rites and religious expressions, relationships with ancestors, the contemplative attitude, the sense of gratuity, celebration and festivity, and the sacred meaning of the territory.” (IL, n. 121) One can only imagine what St. Paul, the great Apostle to the Gentiles, would say in response to such incredible statements, he who wrote in his Epistle to the Romans concerning pagan peoples: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and injustice of those men that detain the truth of God in injustice: Because that which is known of God is manifest in them. For God hath manifested it unto them. For the invisible things of Him, from the creation of the world, are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made. His eternal power also and divinity: so that they are inexcusable. Because that, when they knew God, they have not glorified Him as God or given thanks: but became vain in their thoughts, and their foolish heart was darkened. For professing themselves to be wise, they became fools. And they changed the glory of the incorruptible God into the likeness of the image of a corruptible man, and of birds, and of four-footed beasts, and of creeping things. Wherefore God gave them up to the desires of their heart, unto uncleanness: to dishonour their own bodies among themselves. Who changed the truth of God into a lie; and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.” (Rom. 1:18-25) Church Must Don “An Amazonian Face” The Church, the Instrumentum Laboris further affirms, must divest itself of its Roman identity and adopt “an Amazonian face.” “The Amazonian face of the Church finds its expression in the plurality of its peoples, cultures and ecosystems. This diversity requires an option for an outward-bound and missionary Church, incarnated in all its activities, expressions and languages” (n.107). “A Church with an Amazonian face in its multiple nuances, seeks to be an ‘outward-bound’ Church (cf. EG 20-23), which leaves behind a colonial mono-cultural, clerical and domineering tradition and knows how to discern and adopt without fear, the diverse cultural expressions of the peoples” (n.110). Preparing for Battle Pope Francis’s advisers for the Synod on the Amazon met secretly near Rome at the end of June in order to lay out their strategy, in a manner analogous to what the progressive theologians of Central Europe did on the eve of the Second Vatican Council. But the conservative group which opposed itself to them then was disorganized and unaware, with a few exceptions, of the maneuvers which were in progress. It took two years for them to constitute the Coetus Internationali Patrum, which united the anti-progressive bishops. Today, the group which unites those Catholics faithful to the perennial Magisterium of the Church is organized and combative. Cardinal Walter Brandmüller has affirmed that the Instrumentum Laboris “contradicts the binding teaching of the Church on decisive points and thus it ought to be qualified as heretical,” and, given that the document places the very fact of divine revelation up for discussion “we ought also in addition to speak of apostasy.” The Instrumentum Laboris, concludes the cardinal, “constitutes an attack on the foundations of the faith, in a way in which was not thought possible until now. And thus it ought to be rejected with the maximum firmness.” We also, like our adversaries, are preparing ourselves for battle in October with the intention of rejecting the Amazon project with the greatest firmness.
This is absolutely shocking. One of the very definitions of Judeo-Christianity is its desacralisation of nature, whereby it was revealed that the Creator was not in creation but transcended it. Nature itself is only a creation, over which mankind has been handed stewardship. This insight led to the understanding of God as a rational being, one possessed with infinite knowledge of goodness and truth. In fact, it became obvious that God is Truth and Goodness. From this, men concluded that since God is rational, so is His universe and this led to the development of science, without which we would never have managed to navigate and discover South America in the first place, so Boff's ancestors would have remained in Europe and we could never have had an Amazon Synod in Rome (assuming they didn't come here by canoe). Boff and Bergoglio want to return us to that primeval chaos that existed after the Fall, upturning all of God's Revelation through both the Old and New Testaments. The Church must have an Amazonian face. It certainly can't have a Chinese face, because the Vatican ensured it was kicked in.
Dolours, This video is excellent imo and I think that everyone here should take the time to watch it. I think that this man has a gift, he is able to get right to the point and keep this subject easy for everyone to understand. Blizzard, Cardinal Muller also cuts straight to the point, there's no confusion in his statements either. On the Instrumentum Laboris he states: Raymond Arroyo asked him if he changed his mind since watching the synod unfold and he states that it is not possible to change his mind and that before, during and after the synod that we must speak about Jesus Christ. Amen Cardinal Muller. For those who would like to watch the whole episode of the World Over here it is, DeGaulle, You have the gift of the pen, this is very well said. I just want to add that I think that Mark Mallett needs to do a little more investigative work on what is occurring right now or maybe he does not want to believe that there really appears to be an agenda in regard to the synod and it is a very, very bad one. I found this short clip of an interview of Malachi Martin speaking about Liberation Theology: "Russia ... would spread its errors throughout the world" - Our Lady of Fatima "When communism comes again everything will happen." - Conchita Gonzalez *** Edward Pentin is doing great investigative work on the synod. Thank you Mr. Pentin. https://twitter.com/CatholicSat/status/1187364252191023105 https://twitter.com/EdwardPentin/status/1187624524709318657 Oct. 24, 2019 Political Maneuvering at Pan-Amazon Synod? Vatican Official Says No Despite last week’s meeting of some synod fathers with six left-wing Brazilian politicians, Paolo Ruffini said that ‘nothing in the synod can be interpreted in a political manner.’ Edward Pentin | http://www.ncregister.com/daily-new...-at-pan-amazon-synod-vatican-official-says-no ... The parliamentarians, all on the political left, comprised: Hélder Salomão (Labor Party), Camilo Capiberibe (Socialist Party of Brazil), Airton Faleiro (Labor Party), Nilto Tatto (Labor Party), Bira do Pindaré (Socialist Party of Brazil) and Jandira Feghali (Communist Party of Brazil). Feghali is ardently pro-abortion and in 2015 voted against legislation that would criminalize infanticide practiced in some Amazonian tribes on the grounds it would interfere with their culture. Meanwhile the Labor Party, to which most of the six legislators belong, is the same political party founded by Brazilian President Lula Da Silva, who is currently serving a 12-year jail sentence for money laundering and corruption. The synod fathers, who seem pleased to receive them, included Bishop Mario Antonio Da Silva, vice president of the Brazilian bishops’ conference, Archbishop Roque Paloschi, head of the Brazilian Missionary Council for Indigenous Peoples (CIMI), and Bishop Evaristo Spengler of Marajó, Brazil. Bishop Da Silva reportedly said after the meeting that the report’s contents would not be incorporated into the synod after concerns were expressed that the politicians were influencing the meeting. ... Cristiane Murray’s Role The Register also asked Murray in a separate question if she could explain precisely her relationship with REPAM, after Cardinal Pedro Ricardo Barreto Jimeno, REPAM’s vice president, told reporters at an earlier briefing that she was a co-founder of the Church network, and what her political affiliations were. “I’m not a co-founder of REPAM,” Murray replied. “I covered the events of REPAM as a journalist and as a colleague. It’s an ecclesial network. I don’t see that there’s anything wrong with that.” When asked why, then, did Cardinal Barreto describe her as a co-founder (see video of his disclosure and Murray’s reaction), Murray said: “I’m not a co-founder. I participated in many events, but I’m not a co-founder.” She did not answer what her political affiliations are, but they appear to be clearly of the left. A French Communist Party poster is hanging above her desk at Vatican Radio. ***
I've placed this message in its home thread but I think it is also very fitting for this thread as well: MESSAGE FROM OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST TO HIS BELOVED DAUGHTER LUZ DE MARIA SEPTEMBER 25, 2019 My Beloved People: MY PEOPLE ARE KEPT IN MY HEART, THEREFORE I CALL YOU TO PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SENSES AND TO WHAT IS AROUND YOU, SO THAT YOU DO NOT GO ASTRAY. Where are you heading, My children? You know full well the safe path to come to ME. Those who take shortcuts walk far from Me. Do you want to save your Soul? Fulfill THE COMMANDMENTS, love them and make them come alive in your daily work and action. Be fulfillers of My Will which I express to you every instant, but which you do not perceive because of remaining in the to and from that does not allow you to draw near to Me. YOU NEED TO QUIETEN YOURSELVES, TO BE TRUE AND TO WISH WITH ALL YOUR STRENGTH, POWERS AND SENSES, TO REMAIN IN MY WILL AND TO TAKE MY MOST HOLY MOTHER'S HAND. BE AWARE THAT TO REACH ME, YOU HAVE TO KNOW ME (cf. Jn 17:3) IN ORDER TO LOVE ME. My children, the wiles of evil invite you to work and act far from Me, putting improper, sinful, heretical, profane acts and works before you in order to confuse you and so that you see evil as good and good as evil, taking advantage of the confusion suffered by My Church: I have already announced to you that "priests will rise against priests, bishops against bishops, cardinals against cardinals." My Church lives in confusion, bowed down by the evil that has infiltrated Her in order to dominate Her and make Her suffer. My children must stand firm and be creatures of Faith supported by the knowledge of My Word and love for Our Most Holy Trinity. MY WORD IS FOR YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER(cf. Heb 13:8). IT IS CURRENT AND THEREFORE ETERNALLY NEW, NOT NEEDING MAN’S INNOVATION, but it is to be welcomed, to be put into practice at every instant of your lives, so that you leave behind the rags that you are carrying and dress yourselves with new clothes. Humanity is controlled by those who have infiltrated great institutions that represent nations, appearing to help the needy and to be seeking the good of the peoples and of the human being. WAKE UP, CHILDREN, DO NOT WALK BLINDLY! FREEMASONRY ENCRUSTED WITHIN MY CHURCH DEFILES ME AND MAKES YOU TURN AWAY FROM ME IN ORDER TO CELEBRATE BEING TODAY’S HERODS, OFFERING ACCEPTANCE TO ABORTION, WHICH MAKES MY HEART BLEED. Among My People they wickedly promote engagement with disastrous ideologies, deifying nature and opposing My teachings. DO NOT BE SURPRISED AT THE FORCE OF NATURE AND ITS PHENOMENA THAT ARE INCREASING, CRYING OUT TO MAN NOT TO WORSHIP IT. I AM YOUR GOD (cf. Ex 3:14) AND YOU MAY WORSHIP NOTHING APART FROM ME. I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE; HE WHO BELIEVES IN ME SHALL LIVE, EVEN THOUGH HE DIES (Jn 11:25). This generation stands before My Mercy and does not see It, before My Pity and does not see It, before My Justice and does not see It. Therefore, attracted by the magnet of evil, they go from sin to sin, from offense to offense. The appetites of the flesh are manifold, worldly pleasures flood humanity, all of which last for an instant – “they are not eternal" – whereas the consequences of sin without due repentance are indeed eternal. WAKE UP, CHILDREN, DO NOT SLEEP !, MY CHURCH HAS BEEN INVADED BY FALSE IDEOLOGIES. I DESIRE THE SALVATION OF ALL MY CHILDREN. My people, the Earth will wake you up with its sequence of strong tremors and earthquakes, not only in recognized tectonic faults but in those derived from those faults and which appear to be new. With this, the volcanoes awaken, the needs of humanity increase in the face of the unexpected and untimely changes in the climate that man has provoked with his rebellion, disobedience and arrogance. Humanity should not remain indifferent to the war that it has started, but should remain attentive to the progress of war. PRAY, MY CHILDREN, PRAY FOR MY CHURCH, SO THAT INNOVATIONS DO NOT INFILTRATE HER, DISTORTING THE WILL OF OUR TRINITY. PRAY, OFFERING UP ABSTINENCE FROM FOOD TO THE EXTENT THAT EACH BODY ALLOWS. Pray My children, pray for Finland. Unexpected volcanic activity makes great nations suffer. Pray My children, pray. Europe suffers to the core. Pray My children, Germany suffers; the United States continues to be scourged by nature and is shaken. MY PEOPLE, I AM NOT VENGEFUL BUT MERCIFUL, I ALLOW MAN TO GO WHERE HIS WILL TAKES HIM, AND AT THE SAME TIME TO BEAR THE CONSEQUENCES OF HIS WILL. I am Love and I call you to be My Love, so that you may live being one. Fraternity is indispensable for My People. MY LOVE CALLS YOU TO ENTER INTO MY SACRED HEART. MY PEOPLE, I AM YOUR GOD! Your Jesus HAIL MARY MOST PURE, CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN HAIL MARY MOST PURE, CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN HAIL MARY MOST PURE, CONCEIVED WITHOUT SIN COMMENTARY Brothers and Sisters: Being God’s People, we have obligations to fulfill. We cannot ignore Christ or our Blessed Mother and apply a free interpretation of God’s Law as we see fit, in order to accept a call different from that which we as children of God have to fulfill. Our Lord Jesus Christ calls us to awaken from indifference, from inconsistency, from individualism, from accepting innovations that go against life itself, which is a gift given by God. In the past, calling oneself “satanic”was a cause for fear and shame; now declaring that you are satanic is something with which whoever views the Devil as their god feels pride and power. This decadence is not new, but is what has been dragging humanity along and is reaching its peak in this generation, together with man’s going astray because of the continual debates and pronouncements within the Church. This panorama leads us to a single point: what the People of God are awaiting is approaching - the signs of this time. We entrust ourselves to our Blessed Mother Mary so that She might enlighten the path of this People of God who do not want to disappoint Their Savior. United in the Sacred Hearts! Luz de Maria
I do not know if this is accurate or not, but an article in Spanish has reported that the idols that were thrown into the Tiber have been found by the police and reportedly the Pope has said he will place them in St. Peter's for the closing Mass of the synod. Here is the original link: https://infovaticana.com/2019/10/25...ado-los-idolos/amp/?__twitter_impression=true And here is a translation from Google Translate: by Gabriel Ariza | October 25, 2019 Diary of a synodal father The Pope has apologized for what happened with the pagan images venerated in a church in Rome. But not for venerating them, or presiding rare rituals, no, but for the fact that some Catholics have entered the church to take the images and throw them into the Tiber. It was this afternoon, at the beginning of the afternoon session in the synodal classroom, when in his speech Pope Francis apologized for what happened to the Pachamama (Mother Earth) images - which they took from the temple of Santa Maria in Traspontina and threw the Tevere river— and said the police found them and they are at the police station. The Pope made a shocking announcement at the end of the session: "On Sunday those images will be in St. Peter's Basilica at the closing Mass of the Synod ..."
