Well you know, one of the sacraments of a progressive liberal is abortion and Nancy at least is aknowledging it. But you are right Glenn, it is time that our Church leaders denounce in the stongest terms excommunication to those in public office who pronounce their support for abortion or gay marriage.
Perhaps as requested by the Bishops of the United States we use these next two weeks to pray for our country. And maybe those of you not citizens of the US will pray fir us too? As the Deacon notes, these are important and challenging times.
