So often Our Lord takes us to the very edge before He shows us what it is He wants. I expect Our Lady is the same. Look at this way. You made a pilgrimage out of love for Mary. A difficult pilgrimage. Many graces will flow to you for that reason alone. Maybe the pilgrimage is the message??
Look at all of the priests! Think of the crowd of powerful angels packed into that church and the people soaking up all of that holiness. Heaven!
You sometimes never know the impact you may have had on another without even saying a word. Sometimes we are not meant to know the good that comes from our actions. Take heart! You felt called and you answered most willingly and bore many crosses along the way! Rest easy God’s good and faithful servant
Caritas seem to do good work. They had lovely posters about staying quiet and praying at 6:40 pm when Our Lady appears.
Visited the museum and then an hour in front of the Blessed Sacrament. I haven't done that in ages, I prefer praying walking these days . Now sitting down to a mixed grill and beer . Life can be good
They had this bizarre but nice thing in the museum were you sit in a dark room and Our Lady appears to you walking out of the darkness by animation. It was a nice idea. Children would love it. Imagining the unimaginable
For me its the music theres just something that pulls on the heart strings when I here it especially the music during adoration
Ditto God rested on the Seventh Day. Keep holy the Sabbath. Thinking back to my childhood, nothing was open on Sundays, no gas stations, only a small shop to buy bread and milk in an emergency.
I liked this painting. It reminded me of how Mary must have liked to talk about Jesus with the other women after His death in Ephesus.
I just love the English Mass at 10am. Beautiful music at it always. I also love the devotions every evening at the back at the church. The adoration hour after Mass is so beautiful. That's always the highlight of my day. Make sure you get it in. The Oasis of Peace for adoration is also beautiful. Have you visited Visca's house. It's the blue house when you head across the fields to Apparition Hill. Our Lady appeared to Visca there every day when she was suffering in the early days. It's very special. The guy that runs the gift shop there has the key. He is a Palestinian. I think he was praying a decade of the rosary every evening during the novena. I would spend my last day over that side and at the Blue Cross. Our Lady appeared there also. I just love being in Medjugorje with no expectations other than finding wonderful peace and resting in the Lords presence.
