I am considering this novena to St. Wilhelmina, to be prayed with a colleague, or with my family. I have suggested it to both. Hopefully, we will do it.
He is home. The incision is from the right side up to the sternum and down to the left to just above the hip. It is all the way across his whole body. So you can imagine the pain he is in still. There is some swelling but no infection at this time. His bladder is also having spasms so he is up to the bathroom hourly. Not able to really rest much. I would say he is progressing as expected. Slow and steady. Please continue to pray for quick healing and adequate pain control. I am currently doing another Novena to St Charbel with the oil I obtained. My petition is no cancer, no complications. Thank you everyone so much for praying.
Sterph, I'm praying for your husband. I wanted also to let you know that there is a medication for bladder spasms. My husband has prostate cancer and had to have it removed along with a kidney which had a tumor. This was a couple of years ago. Anyway, due to the surgeries he experienced the bladder spasms which are quite painful. His doctor was able to prescribe a medication that relieves the spasms. Praying for you both!
