I learned this last Sunday that a situation in a friend's life had gone terribly bad. My friend Michael has always been "different" but harmless. He's now being restrained for another 72 hours in a psychiatric watch. The Diocese is calling in an exorcist, they believe as I do, that he is possessed by the evil one. The story is sordid and lengthy and I won't go into it but there was danger of some children being hurt as well as a suicide plan. Please, please, remember him in your prayers at mass, in your rosary, chaplet and daily petitions. His life depends on them. As always, many, many thanks.
Oh Gail. I'm so sorry! I will offer prayers. I'm glad the Diocese is getting involved. Thank you Jesus!
Just two hours ago, my wonderful wife, Geralyn, showed me a beautiful morning offering that I have never seen. Part of it is so appropriate! Dear Lord, we do not know what will happen to Michael today. We only know that nothing will happen that was not forseen by You and directed to Michael's greater good from all eternity. We adore Your holy and unfathomable plans...Trusting in your unfathomable mercy and perfect timing we surrender him to You. Work a wonder in the heart of this little one and may Your love melt the snares of the enemy! Let God arise and his enemies be scattered! Safe in the Refuge of the Immaculate Heart!
Praying for Michael at mass and through the day. August Queen of Heaven! Sovereign Mistress of the angels! Thou who from the beginning hast received from God the power and mission to crush the head of Satan, we humbly beseech thee to send thy holy Legions, that, under thy command and by thy power, they may pursue the evil spirits, encounter them on every side, resist their bold attacks and drive them hence into the abyss of eternal woe. Amen
Mario, thank you for sharing this. I have this prayer in a little prayer book I put together many years ago. I don't know where I found it, but it is wonderful!!!!! Thanks.
Padraig, this sounds like a powerful prayer. Thank you for posting this. I use the prayers that I see posted here, and they are strength giving.
