Tomorrow (Sat) I am off on pilgrimage to Medjugorje for the first time. I will be gone for a week, and I will remember all your intentions there! Hopefully, it will be a grace-filled trip.
Sean - you will be amazed at the signs of faith all around. The area behind St James' Church truly is blessed and you will feel the peace and know that Medjugorje is a little slice of heaven on earth. I know you will pray for us all here on the forum and we look forward to hearing from you on your return.
Hi Sean, I hope you will have a really blessed time. Are you going with an organised pilgrimage? the reason I say this is because Marian Pilgrimages run an excellent programme for newbies. Even if you are not part of their group, you could always tag along with them on the various walks and talks. Their tour guides are local girls and have extensive knowledge of the area and it's history and are also very committed to Our Lady's messages. You will receive a blessing just by listening to them, you will recognise them by their big umbrellas outside the church after the english mass. Say hi to Our Lady for me God Bless BC
Hi Sean, I have friends over there at the minute who are staying at the Irish Centre near St James' church. If going on an organised trip with Joe Walsh tours, Philip & the local guides are very good too. I'm sure you will love Medjugorje, I'm so excited for you! If you get the chance, visit the Divine Mercy church in a nearby village (can't remember it's name but you can book @ the Divine Mercy shop next to Mary's Meals). Please remember us all in your prayers, as we will you.
I got this from a friend today. God bless her soul....Please send prayers!!! Blessed Mother save her! Recently I asked for your prayers for an old friend of mine from my Colorado days who has stage four breast cancer. The cancer has spread to her liver and spine. She is a wonderful lady and mother of eight, the youngest of whom is still a baby. If you can help Cari and her wonderful family, please just follow the link. Thank you! Hello, As many of you may already know, my dear friend, Cari Combs, is in the battle of her life. She has stage 4 Breast Cancer and needs your help. Please pray for her, as she needs a miracle! If you are called, after prayerful discernment, to help offset the cost of her treatment, the link below has information on her and making a donation online. Thank all of you so much!! God bless.
