I ordered a water rain barrel from Amazon this morning, it was pretty cheap. Also a bottle for keeping the water pure, it was pretty cheap too. I wonder how I might keep some light if the power goes off? Especially how to cook?

I bought a "light bar" in aldi a few months ago. I'm doing a test run on it now. I left it on every night for the last 6 nights and there is no sign of it dimming yet. Not bad, seeing as it's powered by 3 AA batteries!!
Got the bullion cubes also pasta and tinned tomatoes. I changed to a gas cooker some years back and I keep a tank or 2 in reserve. It might be worth getting a gas ring. You can cook everything on a ring. I think I will get some vitamin tablets as they will make up for an insufficient diet. I havent thought about what I would do if I had to move. Im hoping and praying that the little insignificant corner we live in will be passed by. Ive put up Our Lady's statue in my garden and I am preparing a place under the trees for the large crucifix I got in Medjugorje. This is going to be my sign of hope.
We have an old fashioned pump in our yard and there is a fresh water well close by so I wouldent be completely dependant on mains water. Do you think I also need bottled water?
