I understand it is, in fact, a priest and he has been invited unto the forum to write.

Therefore I give considerable leeway. As a Catholic I would always show deep respect to the priesthood.

    Go ahead Father.

Josephite has discovered that Daniel is not a Roman Catholic priest but a Jehova’s Witness. And so is the rest of her seed. Deception?
    I think so. Imho

Oh My!!! Now we are going so far as to call those whom we disagree with Jehovah Witnesses? Perhaps Josephite can bring her discovered facts to the larger group for discernment. Seems to convenient to label someone who we disagree with and the gift we disagree with a JW.

When I read that post from this supposed priest I felt very off. I had just been to Adoration and then went directly to a volunteer job. I read it and assuming he was an authority of the Divine Will I started to contemplate and even try to practice what he suggested. I can only tell you my experience and it was nothing but frustration. I felt so frustrated and ended up falling into sin and then feeling so lost I couldn’t even pray that evening. Feeling he was the authority I felt it was my fault and felt despair. Truly the opposite of how I feel after listening to Father Iannuzzi speak about the DW. I am thankful to Josephite for investigating this.

Equating this to the elect being deceived is a bit overly dramatic. When someone says he's a lawyer, a grocery clerk, a computer programmer, an airplane mechanic, a rabbi, or a priest, most people will generally believe him until given a reason not to. As far as I'm concerned, the jury is still out on the identity of the original poster, but the caution flag came out quickly. If Daniel Nine 27 is a Catholic priest in good standing with the Church, his reply could easily clear things up. If he doesn't reply--well, there's the answer.

  7. If one is truly interested in learning the reality of what living in the Divine Will is there are the two other threads where you will find reliable and expert sources. And you can't beat the beautiful expose given by the Vatican approved priest expert, Fr. Iannuzzi, on the video of his teaching to a prepared audience of the faithful in the Philippines.

I stand by my post. I have the highest respect and admiration for the members of MOG. I think they are solid knowledgeable members of the Catholic faith and I value their input to this site. Therefore...I simply marvel at how these stalwarts of the Faith paid such humble homage to this "Father"? The very first thing that popped into my mind was"Even the elect will be deceive if possible".

Yep. The internet is the wild west. A heavy dose of skepticism is helpful.

I will refer this back to the lady who recommend him.:)
Wisdom. So much of the Discernment of Carmel.

This is very much of Carmel...it reminds me of St Teresa of Avila. She was gentle and wise.

Let us also be gentle and wise. Let us be very kind but firm.

Talk of the , 'Elect', unsettles me.

Talk of , 'Poor, poor sinner'. makes me feel so very much at home.:)

Remind me I am a sinner and I shall see myself very much as in a mirror.

Tell me I am, 'Elect' and I view a stranger.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us.

Yes. Me too. I am so conscious every moment that I am a sinner. And seem to make little progress sadly. I'm in no position to throw stones t anyone and I hope I'm not doing that but someone identifying as a priest on an internet forum and offering priestly advice --well I guess I take it with a grain of salt absent any substantial bona fides. Does Lynn know him personally? Then I stand corrected. And i apologize. But i have learned any one can be anything on the internet. One must be wise and gentle both and prudent.

No wonder sometimes, some catholics gets duped easily at the start before they started to question it later. Nobody is perfect.

Shamanism is all rage in USA. Saw a book on shamanism based in USA on front bookshelf this morning to give us an idea of how bookstore activitely promoting it. Not even a catholic book out on front shelf.
